Chapter 262 - Information gathering

Nick slowly explored the area around the cave and he was both amazed and worried by what he found. there were natural treasures seemingly everywhere which meant after restoring his dantian nick could recover his cultivation realm rapidly. unfortunately the plethora of treasures also meant that there is likely no humans anywhere near here. the reason nick came to this result was because he is very aware how selfish humans are when it comes to resources. basically so long as they can humans wouldn't leave a single treasure behind if they could help it. with this knowledge nick sent out tyrion to collect information from the local demon beast specifically pertaining to the next eclipse as well as any info on humanity. tyrion was gone for two weeks after that in which nick spent pushing his body refinement as hard as he could the entire time. when tyrion returned he managed to push it into the next sub tier putting him bȧrėly at a tier eight beast level. according to what tyrion learned the next eclipse was in three months roughly and it was an important one apparently. the eclipse in question was apparently a once in a thousand year event known as the convergence were the entire system lines up and the barriers between dimensions become paper thin.

This eclipse would definitely give nick something good if he used the seed during it so he set a reminder in his head to remember it. the rest of the information tyrion learned was that they were in a higher realm which was when most of an entire galaxy was comprised of top tier worlds. the biggest difference between this and a lower realm was that ascended cultivators make up the majority of the population of cultivators. this world in particular was actually located on the edge of the realm and was one of the weakest worlds in the realm. this information in particular horrified nick since it meant he was little more than an ant in this realm. tyrion learned that there were four beast in charge of this forest each of which was an ascendant emperor and were pushing towards the next realm which was apparently called the domain tier. these rulers had a set territory that they ruled over and the place nick was staying was located in the territory of the female phoenix ruler.

Nick could only hope that this female wasn't looking for a spouse since he had had quite enough of having stronger women eyeing him. nick spent the next three months preparing for the day of the convergence first by turning the cave into a proper cultivators abode with several inscriptions and even a small array.. next he used his fiend energy to continuously remove any impurities that started to soak into him from this time without qi so that when he uses the seed he gets the best result possible.
