Chapter 28 - I Think You Should Listen To Her

The hot waves of flames and the destruction it caused to the surroundings were so immense . The scene was so terrifying as everybody could feel the powerful energy behind that dark fire , But that was the least concern for the people present there as everyone had only one thought in their minds right now

"The Dark Summoner "

"He has the dark affinity "

"Oh my god . The dark summoner has appeared after thousands of years"

"How the hell no one knows him"

People went into an uproar upon seeing Shadow use the dark element spell. It was obvious to everyone that he was the dark Summoner . The one who was said to be the rarest and strongest among all other elements.

Shadow started walking leisurely towards miss Nancy and her underlinings while his body emitting dark floating threads . The ground below him ,was being corroded with the waves of dark fire surging from his legs . It covered more than 5 meters ahead of him. He was walking with a nonchalant expression which scared miss Nancy and her group even more.

"Shall we start now? Shadow said before dashing with his full speed toward a 2nd stage earth realm cultivator and smashing his head to the ground. The 2nd stage earth realm cultivator didn't have the time to comprehend what happened before his head was exploded by Shadow .

The power behind Shadow's attack was so immense that the head's brain matter splattered everywhere.

The others were frightened after seeing an earth realm cultivator dies just like that,but that didn't stop them from activating their spells to attack him.

"Everybody use your strongest spells together . This is our only chance to take him down" Nancy said to the rest of the group.

"Water bullets "

"Earth splitting fist"

"Lightning thunder"

Everyone used the most powerful spells to attack Shadow . There was an immense barrage of attacks headed towards him but Shadow didn't even try to dodge it .

"Is he crazy? how can he stay still in his place when every single one of these attacks is capable of destroying him completely?" Grace said to her group .

They were watching Shadow for quite sometime. They didn't really care to know his name in the entrance test and even if they did it would still be hard to recognize the current Shadow with the one who was supposed to be killed 10 years ago. His looks and his powers couldn't be related to the old Shadow in anyway after all , even though he was handsome in the past , His charm stats kept increasing which changed most of his facial features and they were only 5 years when they last saw him , so it's safe to say that they didn't recognize him.

When they saw him use the dark element spell , they were shocked to the point where every one of them subconsciously turned his/her face toward Mia. They had hundreds of questions swirling inside their brains right now , but the most crucial question was 'who are they'

What they didn't know was that even Mia was shocked learning he was a dark element user . She always wondered about Shadow's prowess but never asked him so this was a huge surprise for her.

Maya looked at Shadow with conflicted thoughts . Apart from his powers , she had this feeling of longing the moment she saw him.

'What is this feeling?' She said inwardly

Different attacks were heading towards Shadow . All of them came together while carrying an immense power behind them.

"We got him"

"He will die thanks to his recklessness "

"Don't celebrate yet , keep firing attacks at him" Nancy said .

'He's so arrogant to face us head on . Well I won't complain about that as it just serves me perfectly.This is what you get when you offend someone you shouldn't' Nancy rejoiced inwardly.

'They are experienced . They didn't lose their composure after seeing their friends die . I think i should unleash some of my power' Shadow said after seeing them attack him with no hesitation.

The attacks were one meter away from reaching Shadow but suddenly a huge ball of dark fire appeared out of thin air . The ball of fire collided with the coming attacks but to everyone's surprise nothing happened.

The ball of fire sucked the attacks like a sponge sucking water . It was so weird yet scary .

"Idiots " that's the only word that escaped Shadow's mouth before a swirling dark fire emerged below the eight left cultivators. The fire came out of the ground but it was so sudden that none of them could react in time .

"Arrrrgghh"

"Argghhhhhh"

"Nooooo pleaaaase "

"Stopppp I'm beggggginc you stoop ittt"

The students kept screaming and crying but the fire kept engulfing them. It corroded their bodies in less than a minute. No flesh no bones not even ashes were left , it seemed like they were never in that place at all.

Shadow didn't kill Nancy with the rest of disciples, he left her watch the end of her group as he burned them alive .

A bucket of sweat was dropping from Nancy seeing this."Please I'm sorry , my arrogance blinded my judgement so please show mercy this time " Nancy was frightened shitless watching her group being tortured with no one to help them. She thought that the most crucial thing at this point is to get out of here alive .

Shadow disappeared from his spot to reappear next to Nancy immediately . His sudden appearance surprised her as she tripped on the ground but before she fell Shadow's grip was wrapped around her neck .

"You scums act so haughty when you see someone weaker than you , but have you ever thought what will happen if that someone was actually stronger than you?" Shadow said to her with a disgusted expression on his face .

"D-Don't, my famil-y they will kill you if you do something to me " Nancy struggled to utter these words as she thought this is her last card she can play to prevent him from killing her.

"Your family?" Shadow chuckled upon hearing her threat .

"I think you should listen to her" a voice rang from within the audience .
