Chapter 9 - Desire Awakening

Madam Emily led Shadow to her tavern. It was a small tavern in the center on the city . The exterior appearance was normal like the rest of the buildings with a big wooden sign hanged on the door * The dream tavern *

They both entered inside the tavern. Shadow noticed the interior structure was quite beautiful , the wooden floor was clean .There were many tables inside the tavern . The place was bustling with many people laughing and chatting while the waitresses brought them food and drinks .

"What do you think , You like it ?" Madam Emily asked.

" yes ,It seems like a good place to have fun

" he said to her.

"Come on let me introduce you to the workers "

" Alice , Sophia come here for a second" Madam Emily called out and two beautiful girls came up.

"Welcome back mom"

"Welcome back Madam Emily how was your trip " one of the girls asked.

"It was good anyway, I wanna introduce you to this guy " Madam Emily proceeded to point at Shadow " Shadow this girl with the brown hair is my daughter Sophia and the blonde one is Alice she works here and she's like a daughter to me, Girls this is Shadow i met him on my way back he lost his memories and can't remember anything except his name , he's gonna stay here for a while " Madam Emily introduced both parties to each other.

"Nice to meet you" Shadow said.

Alice and Sophia both exchanged glances at each other before smiling and saying " nice to meet you too welcome to our tavern , Don't worry , a lot of people lose their memories due to accidents but they restore them back after a while "

Sophia was 18 years old while Alice was 17 years old.

" thank you " Shadow said .

" Alright, come with me, I'll show you your room" Madam Emily said .

The rooms were in the second floor . The tavern had 6 rooms and the last room was the only one empty .

It was a normal room with white walls a window , a mirror and a bed in the middle . There was also a table and a chair beside the window.The room had another door which led to the bathroom

"It's not much but, it's the only empty room as the rest of them are already occupied " she said.

"It's more than enough, I don't know how to thank you " Shadow said.

" you said you don't remember anything so how about staying here and working in the tavern for sometime maybe you'll remember something "she said

" I would love to do that" he said

' I need to collect some information about the past 11 years and the tavern is the best place for exchanging information' He thought inwardly

"Alright then ,I'll leave you to rest for a while , if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask"

" hmm" he nodded

After Madam Emily left , Shadow jumped on the bed " haa It's been so long since the last time I slept on a real bed"

Time passed quickly and the sky was dark, it was already night.

Shadow just came out of the bathroom after taking a shower .His long silky black hair that reached his buttocks was brushed up revealing his charming face . Shadow wasn't wearing anything besides the towel that covered his little brother when suddenly he was surprised to see Madam Emily staring blankly at his face .She came here to invite him for dinner but was mesmerized to see his facial features coupled with his toned body she couldn't lift her eyes from this sight .

" so handsome " Madam Emily said subconsciously .

If it was the old Shadow he would've shrunk from embarrassment but after the increase of his mentality stats he was composed.

" Oh so you think I'm handsome, that's quite daring after all we just met today" Shadow teased Madam Emily .

Madam Emily came out of her dazed state when she heard his voice . She began blushing not knowing what to do .

" I ..I didn't .. It's not you … I mean I.. " she struggled to come up with a good sentence but was taken aback by Shadow's next words .

" Actually, from the moment i saw you i was captivated by your beauty " he said while moving closer to Madam Emily.

" s..stop joking ,what beauty ,I'm an old woman " she stuttered.

" I like older women , specially the pretty ones like you" he said with a teasing smile as he got closer to her .

Shadow was only 2 inches away from madam Emily and could hear her heart's beats as they rang like a drum. He could feel her warm breath on his face and the rosy smell coming from her body.

Shadow's dragon couldn't stay sleep anymore as it woke up and soar towards the sky .

Even though it was blocked by the shackles of the towel it still made a big swelling in the towel .

Madam Emily was dumbfounded by how big it was as the swelling behind the towel was enough to make her imaginary soar to the heaven. Shadow stroked Madam Emily's hair that was hanging on her eyes until his fingers started stroking her cheeks .

Madam Emily was lost in desire as her face was blood red from lusting over Shadow .

" Ok let's go eat dinner " Shadow stoped and moved away from madam Emily and went back to the bathroom to wear his clothes .

'What the fuck is wrong with me ? ' Shadow exclaimed inwardly.

' I would never lose my self in desire so why did it happen to me suddenly ?'he contemplated

' Due to the Demon system features coupled with the awakening of your dragon bloodline the host will seek all the desire that will satisfy his lust 'the system resounded in his head.

' I don't really hate it though but will this affect my judgment in the future?'

'The stronger the host becomes the more desire he feel as desire comes from power but the host can still control his judgement the more his mentality stats increase'

' Well , I can do nothing regarding this right now but I'll try increasing my mentality stats in the future ' he said . As went to check the messages that were hovering in front of his eyes

Shadow was startled to see the contents of the messages.

' So just being cool got me these dominance points' Shadow thought with a smirk on his face

he exited the bathroom.

Shadow was surprised to see madam Emily still standing in the room .

" huh , you're still here ? , I thought you headed down stairs before me" he asked wondering why hasn't she left yet .

"Shadow p..please d. don't joke like this a.again, it's n..not funny . You are at the same age of my son" she said with a blushing face expression while stuttering.

"Alright madam Emily , I was just kidding with you . Let's go together then" he said with a nonchalant expression dumbfounding madam Emily.

She didn't know what to do but still followed him as they made their way towards the dining table
