12: Hostages

After some consideration, you decide that you cannot with all good conscience leave the fate of your sister up to chance. You turn to bunny girls under your command and say, “Epsilon, Delta, untie Alpha from the tree, bind her and bring her with you as you follow me. Gamma, bind Beta’s arms and legs and follow me as well.”

The bunny girls follow your orders without objections. Gamma effortlessly throws the weakened Beta over her shoulder and takes one of her shields with her.

“Epsilon! Delta! Stop this nonsense!” Alpha shouts as she is tied down again by her controlled squadmates. Of course, her cries are ignored completely.

Before you depart you feel the need to clarify your plans, as the bunnies under your control have shown themselves to be lost in the moment easily.

“We’re going to your leader and have her surrender before my subordinate kills her. Ideally, I want this to end without anyone dying! Do not take any action without my command!” You say to the bunny girls and hurry toward the fatal duel. On your way, you come up to the always-masturbating Delta and give her additional instructions.

As you go deeper into the forest you can see Chi-sama and your sister more clearly. There’s not a single scratch on either of them, though they’re both sweating profusely and breathing hard. They’re clearly going all out, but making sure not to get wounded. It seems they’ve both come to the conclusion that the very first wound suffered will be the one to decide the fate of this match.

You run up close enough so that the katana-wielding bunny girl can hear you, but try not to get too close, to avoid getting into the middle of a fight, when you hardly have the energy to do so.

The duel continues to be dead even and after another exchange of parries and blocks you shout to the leader of the bunny girls, “Surrender now or I start killing your subordinates one by one!”

Ariadne and Chi-sama both freeze in place for a moment and look at you, and the bunny girls following you close from behind.

“Nhi! What have you done?” Chi-sama looks at her bunny squad. She looks at Epsilon with her tits out as she stands over the bound and naked Alpha. At Gamma, who holds Beta over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes. At Delta, who is for once on her feet and with her axes in her hands seemingly ready to fight, except that she keeps rubbing the handle of one of the axes against her crotch.

“He has mind control abilities.” Beta whimpers weakly. “I’m sorry for failing you, Chi-sama.”

“Mind control?” Chi-sama asks and looks at you. “Will it still control them if I remove your head from your shoulders?”

The bunny girl dashes at you but is once again intercepted by Ariadne and her greataxe, just a few feet from you.

“Annoying!” Chi-sama scowls and ducks beneath the swing arc of your sister’s weapon.

Ariadne brings her greataxe overhead aiming to behead the bunny girl, but the latter rolls out of the way and throws one of her katana’s at you, edge first, aiming to pierce your chest. You don’t have time to react. Ariadne lunges and barely manages to reach the katana with her greataxe and knock it out of its path, but that is exactly what the bunny girl waited for as she instantly slashes at your sister’s body diagonally. You see blood pour from Ariadne. She caught—Chi-sama’s blade with her hand.

“Delta, behead Alpha immediately and then do the same to Beta!” You shout.

“No, wait!!” Chi-sama screams and looks to you. At that moment your sister headbutts the bunny girl into the stomach, sending her flying backward with an open wound. She barely manages to regain her balance and lands on one knee. Ariadne approaches her, ready to finish the job.

“Ariadne, wait!” You shout to your sister and signal Delta with your hand to hold off the beheading. “Delta, the second Chi-sama so much raises her arm or takes a single step, behead Beta. Gamma, the same goes for you—break Beta’s neck the moment Chi-sama shows any sign of aggression!”

A moment of silence. Ariadne stands between you and Chi-sama who looks at you, then at her captive subordinates, then at you again. A gentle breeze blows past as you and Chi-sama stare each other down.

“I’m glad I finally got your attention.” You say to the bunny girl. “It seems you’re the hot-headed type. What did you expect to happen after casually dismissing my threat and wounding someone dear to me?” You ask the leader of the bunny girls. You’re also glad that you instructed Delta in advance that an order to “behead” simply meant to visually threaten a beheading. The order “kill” is the one that must result in the death of the hostages. If it came to that.

The fight is over, but what to do with the leader of the bunny girls now? You have no energy for Sexomancy spells, or any other spells for that matter. But even if you wait until you’re able to use [Submission] again, it clearly didn’t work on her before. Perhaps she’ll be more susceptible when she’s wounded? Won’t she bleed out and die by that time though? Try to talk her into joining you? She could be a valuable asset, especially in helping you take down this outpost. But it might be too risky to rely on such a strong hot-head who you can’t fully control.

The safest approach might be to take her captive and return to your base as soon as you can. Then figure out what to do with the bunnies. But then what about the equipment summoner that you came for in the first place? He could be useful, but will probably die soon. Not to mention he apparently already blabbered all that he knew and now every single person in this outpost knows about you. You could wait for your energy to recover and attack the outpost with your new bunny girl allies.
