29 Are There Any Honest Businessmen Anymore?!

Woo Dalsu gave a perfunctory smile while sitting across the table from Choi Minho.

"JC Group? Aren't they on the brink of bankruptcy?!"

Stunned that the deal with Woosan group was about to fall through, the Director of HK Group stared at Woo Dalsu, expecting that the other would contradict what he said.

"BANKRUPTCY?! Director Choi, you talk as if this is America! Because they declared they were bankrupt does that mean that it is true?! It looks like you are losing your touch."

Jung Siwon's face grew red at the way at which the President of Woosan Group was talking down to his boss. The aide of Choi Minho wanted to fly across to where the pompous man sat and slap some sense into him.

"Are there any honest businessmen anymore?! Why did he even bother showing up, if this is what he was going to tell Director Choi! He looks like the type that would want his meal to be paid for, I hope Director Choi doesn't fall for his tricks!"

The thought that his boss could be meeting with a person that didn't value integrity, grated at his nerves.

"JC Group is abusing the system and you, President Woo are trying to take advantage of the loophole! HK Group doesn't need the likes of you to do business! Good day, President Woo!"

Blind with fury, Choi Minho gestured for his aide to follow him as he sharply rose from his seat to leave the resturant.

Two young ladies one was one the chubby side while the other was a but slim, they both sat on the rug to watch their favorite show "Live Up To Your Name, Inspector Goo" on the TV.

"Hey! I thought you said you were going to call your cousin about getting you a job at his workplace?!"

The chubby one said, while chewing on a handful of potato chips.

"Kim Yoori! Stop stuffing your face!"

"Hey! Jung Jihyo! It's just chips! How am I stuffing my face! Can't I eat in peace?!"

Angered by the judgemental attitude of her friend, Kim Yoori slammed the half full bag of potato chips to the floor.

"Sorry! Keep eating okay?! Very soon you'll say that no guy is inviting you for a date."

"Isn't that too harsh! How could you say that to me?! Are you really my friend?"

Kim Yoori's suddenly lost her appetite, she slowly rose to her feet. Wanting to leave her friend's house to cry. Her head hung low as she picked up her cellphone and handbag.

"Where are you going?! The drama hasn't ended!"

Surprised that her friend was leaving their favorite drama, Jung Jihyo called out to her in an anxious voice.

"I forgot that I have to be somewhere....I'll come back another day."

In a toneless voice which was covered in lies, Kim Yoori wanted to be far away from her friend whom she secretly envied for keeping such a trim figure so easily.

"Is it because of what I said? I didn't mean anything...I'm sorry Kim Yoori, it's just that everyone says that I'm not doing enough for you in making sure that you keep fit."

The two had been friends since childhood, both their parents knew each other. Thereby making them closer than normal.

"I know! Did you think that I don't know what others say about me hanging out with you?! That Fatty Kim Yoori is friends with a beautiful goddess Jung Jihyo!"

Jung Jihyo eyes widened from the unexpected outburst by her friend, it was true that many had compared the two of them on certain occassions, but she never thought that Kim Yoori would take it to heart. In the past they had laughed it off and maintained their friendship, but for some unknown reason, Kim Yoori seemed to be particularly sensitive.

"I work hard to maintain my shape! I've pleaded with you several times to follow me to the gym, but you always come up with one excuse or the other not to go with me! What else do you want me to do?! You know that guys like slim people! Why are you so pig headed! Do you think there is some guy out there that would want to go out with someone that is fat?! Just look around...how many of our female classmates that put on weight had a long relationship?! Let's not even talk about marrying! I'm your friend, a true friend would say the truth no matter how much it hurts! You cannot continue to bury your head in the sand and hope that a prince charming would marry you looking the way you do! The world we live in is a very harsh place! You need to wake up Kim Yoori!"

Despite angry at the naive way that her friend chose to look at life, Jung Jihyo felt pity for her.

"Is your cousin like that?! Does he also think that people like me do not deserve a man because we are considered fat?!"

"Why are you bringing him in?!"

"Answer me! Is your cousin like that too?!"

Kim Yoori's hands were balled into a fist, her face had become red from the anger she felt towards the jabs made by her longtime friend.

"Jung Siwon is not that kind of person! Are you satisfied?!"

"Good! Then, it wouldn't be a problem for me to go after him!"

"Ha!"

The word escaped out of Jung Jihyo's mouth before she even realized they were out. She stared at her friend in disbelief, were it not because she was standing there. Jung Jihyo would have concluded that she was talking to someone other than Kim Yoori. "Give me his number!"

"I'm not giving you anything! What if he already has a girlfriend! Are you then going to break them up?!"

"That's for me to decide! I'm waiting! WHERE IS YOUR COUSIN'S PHONE NUMBER?! AISHH!!!!"

Kim Yoori screamed at Jung Jihyo, whose face became deathly pale after seeing the startling transformation of her friend.

"H-H-Here...it's under Siwon Brother...."

Kim Yoori then snatched the phone from the trembling hand of Jung Jihyo.
