After opening his eyes, Ye Mo could see that his dantian increased rapidly, so he happily opens his status to check it out.

Looking at his meager points, Ye Mo lets out a sigh before he jumps up off the ground. Since his cultivation is at the peak of Qi Sa, he figures he should go and have a fight with the strongest beast in the Forest of Horrors, which is somewhere in the middle regions, so he asks the System to guide him to it.

[Ding! Host can follow the arrow to reach the beast.]

Ye Mo follows the arrow that appeared for 8 hours before he reaches the place where the strongest beast here lives at. He looks around and notices a massive lake, and felt a huge pressure from inside it. Looking at it closer, he can see a faint figure within it, so he analyzes it.

Looking at that note, Ye Mo knows that he stands no chance. Just it being at Qi Pa Stage 3 tells him that. At least, HE doesn't stand a chance. His other form might. Ye Mo instantly transforms into his Devil form. A shroud of darkness covers him for a few seconds before disappearing.

In the place of Ye Mo stands Devil Ye Mo. His long silver hair, his black and red eyes, and his two red horns. Devil Ye Mo looks towards the lake and notices that the Flood Dragon is coming out. Grinning madly to himself, Devil Ye Mo waits for his opponent.

After the Flood Dragon comes out, it instantly looks at Devil Ye Mo. Looking at the Devil in front of it, the Flood Dragon get angry and the water from the lake starts rising and rushes towards him. Looking at the water coming his way, Devil Ye Mo snorts disdainfully and waves his hand, dissipating the incoming water attack.

Seeing it's attack disappear so easily, the Flood Dragon gets displeased and flaps it's wings slightly, appearing in front of Devil Ye Mo instantly. Unable to dodge, Devil Ye Mo gets hit by the tail of the Flood Dragon and gets sent flying hundreds of meters, crashing through trees.

When he gets up from the ground, Devil Ye Mo notices that the left arm he used to block himself from the tail is gone from the shoulder down, causing him lots of pain. Looking at the Flood Dragon coming his way, Devil Ye Mo gets angry and takes out the Divine Devil Sword. He uses Devil Movement and instantly rushes at the Flood Dragon while using Devil Storm.

The Flood Dragon gets covered in a shroud of Devil Qi and starts getting injured a lot. While Devil Ye Mo was gloating towards it, the Flood Dragon suddenly roars out and the Devil Storm got dissipated. Stunned, Devil Ye Mo looks at the Flood Dragon.

The Flood Dragon looks at Devil Ye Mo and uses it's power to send waves of water flying at him, blocking all of his directions. He tries to break the water barrier covering him, but his attacks bounced off of it. When he was about to get fed up, Devil Ye Mo suddenly feels an immense amounts of pain coming from his stomach, so he looks down.

His stomach was impaled by the tail of the Flood Dragon, which used it to lift him in front of it's face. Devil Ye Mo could tell that the Flood Dragon was looking down at him with disdain, which angers him. He slowly and weakly lifts his sword and points it at the Flood Dragon. It snorts at him and is about to swallow him when he speaks.

"Sword of Death." A large beam of Devil Qi mixed with Death Qi was shot straight into the open mouth of the Flood Dragon, rupturing it's insides, and turning it's organs into a bloody mess. The Flood Dragon looks at Devil Ye Mo in shock, who looks back at it laughingly.

Ye Mo slowly opens his eyes and looks around confused. He takes a minute to realize something, and he instantly shot up and looked around. Seeing the dead Flood Dragon beside him, he slowly lets out a sigh of relief and looks at his body.

His left arm grew back and the huge hole in his stomach filled in and looked normal. Moving his stiff left arm, Ye Mo cuts out the Inner Core of the Flood Dragon and crushes it.

[Ding! Host has killed Qi Pa Stage 3 Flood Dragon. Gained 25000 points.]

[Ding! Host has absorbed Qi Pa Stage 3 Water Inner Core and upgraded his Water Resistance. Water Resistance(U) > Water Resistance(SR).]

Looking at the screen, Ye Mo sighs before he brings up his status.

Feeling quite hungry, Ye Mo looks at the Flood Dragon's corpse and starts cutting it up. He eats 70% of the Flood Dragon before he is full, and he stores the rest of the meat in his storage ring. Ye Mo gets up and stretches his body. He is about to leave the area when a screen pops up.

[Ding! Detected unknown egg! Host should bind it to himself!]

Ye Mo gets slightly startled before he looks around for the egg. He finds it a few minutes later within the lake, and he brings it out. The egg is pure white and is about half the size of his body. Looking at it, Ye Mo asks the System what to do.

Ye Mo bites his finger and drops a bit of blood onto the egg. Nothing happens at first, but suddenly a few screens pop up in front of him, while the egg also changes colors.

[Ding! System has detected a bind on the Unknown Egg... Removing Bind!]

[Ding! Bind has been removed!]

[Ding! Host blood being absorbed by Unknown Egg... Detecting change!]

[Ding! Unknown Egg has been bounded to Host!]

Looking at the now black and red egg, Ye Mo sighs to himself and picks it up. He looks around and finds a cave using Divine Sense, which he heads to. Once there, Ye Mo found it to be abandoned, which works for him. He blocks the entrance with a large rock and heads deeper in.

When he reaches the deepest part of the cave, Ye Mo sits down and puts the egg beside him on the ground gently. He then opens his storage ring and takes out the Orb of Darkness, and hold it in his hands while activating Death Mantra, gathering Qi towards himself.

Unknown to Ye Mo, when he started cultivating, the Unknown Egg started shaking slightly before it stopped and stilled once again. This repeated for the 6 months Ye Mo cultivated before, until it hatched.
