76 Never Enough

"What's going on? Didn't you tell her that you register your wedding certificate when she left? And why did you agree to go on a blind date anyway since you already found her?" Dean dropped his questions in a row.

Ryu exhaled briskly and spoke, "Dean, why do you talk too much?"

"Big Bro, why are you answering me with a question? Anyway, it's obvious that you did not tell her. Then maybe you want her to get jealous or wanted to see her reaction or you are teaching her some lessons for hurting you that's why you agreed to do the blind date. Am I right?" Dean said with a grin.

"Why bother to ask if you will answer it on your own anyway?" Ryu said annoyingly then received the shot poured by Dean.

They were inside Dean's apartment to talk about SL Group.

"Here, check what Chen found." Dean said as he handed Ryu the envelope.

Ryu looked and wrinkled his forehead while Dean's eyebrow arched.

After minutes of checking all the files, Dean said with a dark face, "So Big Bro, what's the plan now? Common let's do some exercising. My hands are itching already."

"How dare of them mess with us especially you?" Dean continued while staring at a particular photo.

Ryu gritted his teeth and hissed, "So it was them from the start."

"Big Bro let me handle this one for you." Dean suddenly blurted out with a wicked smirk.

He was referring to a woman's photo called Rita.

Ryu hit Dean's head and said, "Dummy this is not a game for a playboy, we don't know what this people are capable of. Don't make any move yet without my signal."

Dean laughed.

"Big Bro, this is just a woman. I can handle her well enough. So you handle the rest then let me handle her," Dean insisted.

Ryu shook his head. Dean was a hustler when it comes to any woman. He loved playing around. There's no point in stopping him since he looked so wind up right now and either way he will just do what he wanted in the end.

The enemy must not be taken for granted; they were not going to roll over easily. He will need a careful planning before making any movements.

Also, Ryu was feeling edgy. He sensed that it's not all about just a simple business competition at all. He can feel that there's something more deep going on and that's what he needed to find out.

Ryu came back late at night and walked straight to Arya's room.

"She's asleep early," he murmured while looking at the wall clock.

He quietly lay down beside her and cuddled her.

"Are you drunk?" Arya murmured in her sluggish tone with her eyes still closed. Ryu was hugging her tightly and she can smell a little bit of alcohol mixed on his usual scent.

"Hmm it's just a little." Ryu replied.

"Arya," Ryu murmured.

Then there's just silence. Ryu sighed assuming that Arya went back to sleep.

"If I did not find you, will there be a chance for you to come back to me on your own?" He muttered before closing his eyes to sleep. He wanted to ask that from the moment he saw Arya at the resort but he was afraid to do so.

Yes, he agreed on doing the blind date because he wanted to see how Arya will react. He wanted her to realize what her true feelings for him. He wanted to hear everything from her directly.

He knew Arya was not the typical type who will just conceal what she truly wants and feels. That's why he was confident because Arya proved through her actions that she still likes him.

However, Arya just liking him was never enough for him.
