Chapter 212 - Ask Jiang Tian to Come Over

“That’s right.” One of the old men nodded, glancing over at Yao Tang. “Look, you’re beautiful. If you work hard enough and lower your arrogance, you might even have a chance to be an excellent doctor. But for now…you shouldn’t be so self-assured.”

Liu Liang gestured at one of the assistant organizers.

Seeing this, the young man bowed his head. “Miss, we have reason to suspect that you don’t have an admission pass,” he said. “As such, we believe that you are not qualified to sit in the second row.”

Yao Tang raised her eyebrows slightly. “I don’t have any admission pass in my bag,” she agreed. “But I am qualified to enter this meeting.”

“Qualified?” Cheng Wei snorted. “What right do you have to say that you’re qualified?”

“This young lady does not have an admission card,” Liu Lang stated matter-of-factly, motioning for his assistant. “Ask her to leave the conference.”

“Of course, Sir.” The assistant organizer stepped forward, followed by a few security guards. All of them regarded her differently, with their cold glares and closed fists.

They were terrifying enough that the surrounding men couldn’t help but flinch.

Yao Tang, however, didn’t move an inch. Instead, she stayed seated in her original seat and glanced coldly at the security guard walking over. “All of you work at Jiangdong Group, right?” she uttered. “Ask your boss Jiang Tian to come over.”

“Jiang Tian?”

“Is she talking about the CEO? Who the hell is she to ask Jiang Tian to come over like that?”

“I bet she hasn’t even met him before.”

“I bet she’s bluffing. Damn, it must be embarrassing being chased by away these guards.”

As soon as Jiang Tian’s name was mentioned, the entire hall broke out into another round of discussion. All of them were gazing at Yao Tang in surprise.

They didn’t know what to say.

Could it be that Yao Tang was Jiang Tian’s mistress? Everyone shook their heads at the thought. President Jiang Tian was as cold as ice. there was no way he’d have a mistress!

All of the doctors present shared a look. All of them wanted to build a good relationship with the Jiangdong Group. After all, much of their medical research relied heavily on investors.

Working under him would mean prestige and money.

No matter how many of the people reacted, none of the guards made a move. Instead, they looked at Liu Liang and then at Yao Tang, unsure of what to do.

If they were disrespectful toward her, then they’d suffer.

Liu Liang frowned.

Although he didn’t know whether or not Yao Tang was telling the truth, he still couldn’t help but hesitate. After all, if Director Jiang really knew her, he was in big trouble.

Upon seeing this, Cheng Wei scowled. “What are you waiting for? Do you really think someone like her would be acquainted with someone like Director Jiang?” She scoffed.

His frown deepened.

Yao Tang glanced at the security guards who were so intent on capturing her. This time, they were shifting in their stances, unsure and confused. The corners of her lips quirked upward as she turned to look at Cheng Wei.

She took out her phone and tapped on a few digits, before bringing it to her ear.

“I’m already in the seminar,” she stated. “Do you mind coming over? One of the women here is annoying me. Ask the security guards to kick her out.”

“Hm.”

With one last nod, she hung up.
