Chapter 601: Clearing the Misunderstanding

Lorenz Residence, Trinity.

"What is he doing here?" Lesia asked Lora with a frown on her face as she looked at the uninvited guest.

"Umn...He was nearby apparently nearby.." Lora forced a smile on her face.

"It's fine, I don't mind." Elly shook her head.

The uninvited guest obviously was Ander. It was really weird of him to join these young girls, but they couldn't just ask him to leave. It would be a bit ..you know… the man should have just understood it himself, but looking at him, they were sure he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

Lesia looked at Ander with a frown, she was now sure that this guy had somehow managed to identify her. And, even dared to play games with her. But, she just couldn't reveal her identity in front of the girls. It would be embarrassing. She was pretending to be young after all. Things would even turn awkward between them.

Not to mention, she was definitely not planning to let Lora know about this. Because she was sure that the news would reach Lear, and she didn't want him to be embarrassed about it.

"Come in, my aunt is here," Elly said with a smile.

As the group began to move in, Lesia who was at the back of group suddenly froze when she felt a hand behind her. She immediately turned her head to see Ander with just a clam look on his face. It seemed he wasn't even aware of where his hands were going.

'This jerk!' She immediately slapped his hand away, and walked towards the side beside Janet while glaring at the man who seemed to be enjoying the situation to the fullest.

On the other side…

Naze and Max got outside the shop and began to move towards the Roxley House. After all, that was where Max was currently staying. To be honest, he wanted to drop by the Mercenary Base once. But with Naze following behind, he dropped the plan.

As they arrived near the gates, Naze was quick to dissapear.

Max entered the place, and thought of going to spirit world and train a bit more. He wanted to get the damn sunglasses off of his face. He really was missing his vision and the light.

But, before he could go ahead, a maid stopped him, "Sir, you have guests."

"Me?" Max asked in surprise. This wasn't even his house. How the hell was he having guests here?

Max just followed the maid, and she brought him towards the place where the guests were being entertained Melinda.

When Max saw who the guests were, he frowned. But Melinda was more than happy to entertain them and build some connections.

The two guests were Rihanna and Synthia.

Rihana smiled at Max, while Synthia didn't seem to be in the best of her mood. And, just stared at Max. She definitely wasn't happy.

Max could tell that she was dragged here by Rihanna.

"Your person is here, I will take my leave then.." Melinda smiled, and got up to leave.

"You really have too many ladies surrounding you, don't rub that off onto Lear," She muttered in a low voice as she passed by him.

Max's face twitched, and he barely held himself back from screaming in anger. She really had hit where it hurt the most.

In the end, he could only release a deep sigh before taking a seat, and looking at the two, "So, what brought you two here?"

Rihanna nudged Synthia, and she immediately turned her head towards Max. There was a lot of hesitation on her face, but in the end, she gritted teeth and finally spoke, "I am sorry."

"Hmmn..that certainly was easy. Try to kill someone and when he turns out to be stronger than you just say sorry, easy, right?" Max asked with a smile.

Synthia clenched her fist in anger, "Kill? You are the one who beat me up! It still hurts!"

"Well, what did you expect me to do to you?" Max shook his head. Was he suppose to wipe his neck clean for them to slice it off?

"What do you want me do to then? I already said sorry." Synthia asked with a frown when Rihanna calmed her down.

"Well, that certainly is interesting thing to think about," Max smiled, it was indeed something to think about. He was initially really angry, and thought of making her rub her nose on the floor and stuff. But, now that he thought about it, it would be a waste of an opportunity.

"I won't do anything wrong or perverse!" Synthia immediately misunderstood Max's words.

"What in hell have you thought about me?!" Max's face immediately turned dark.

"Don't think that you can act innocent in front of me, even if you can fool Rihanna with your words. I am not the same." Synthia snorted.

"I know you are cheating on you Fiancee, Lisa. And, that too with her best friend, don't you feel ashamed," She further added.

Max's face turned grimed with each of her words.

"And, who in hell told you that I can't have two Fiancees." This was the first time that Max had spoken like this.

History truly had been made.

"Huh?" Synthia suddenly was dumbfounded. She had actually not thought about it like this.

"I thought Polygamy was only something which happened in the Ancient Families. It exists outside as well?" Rihanna asked in surprise, and it was Max's turn to be dumbfounded.

"Wait! It exists in the Ancient Families?" Max asked in surprise. No wonder his Master went silent every time he asked him about his Fiancee.

"Well, we are closed off from the rest of the world. And, then we even need to make sure not to dilute our bloodline while increasing our numbers rapidly. So, it is kind of practiced. Not to mention, we have more female since the there are a lot of causalities among men each year." Rihanna calmly explained it to Max.

"Still, isn't this wrong?" Max asked with a frown.

"Like you are the one to talk!" Synthia looked at him in disbelief.

Max's face twitched, and he immediately switched the topic realizing he really wasn't in the position to be saying those stuff, "Anyways, now that the misunderstanding is cleared. I hope you are ready to repent."

He smiled at Synthia.

Max had changed his mind, he didn't want any benefits. he just wanted the girl to suffer.

Two more days had passed…

"We are finally here," Axel said with a smile as he walked out of the station with the rest of the group following behind.
