Chapter 120 - Overwhelming

Everyone looked horrified, as they step closer to surround the twin, I was glad everyone there was ready to fight by me even if given their life.

"Baby please take the twin out of here," I said whispering into his ears as his eyes scan around.

"You can run faster, we still have some time," I mumble.

"Stop Nancy, I'm not leaving you here and if we are already surrounded it doesn't matter how we run they will catch up with us," Baby muttered giving me a sad smile more like an assurance he wasn't going to let anything happen to us.

"Who are you?" show yourself!" Zenab yells as his eyes widen up, just then a group of centaurs appeared in front of us.

"Oh my god, I was told they exist but I have never met one," Roland grumble.

"Holy shit, what are these?" Betty asked nervously hiding behind Roland.

"All-time centaurs half-human, half-horse," Mary-Anne replied looking calm.

"And don't be fool by their calm nature, they are very dangerous," Baby roars preparing to attack.

"Ok relax everyone they are not an enemy," Zenab said.

"Hello my prince," Klaus was the leader of the centaurs that saved us the last time Zenab and I fell over the cliff.

"What brought you here Klaus? is everything okay?" Zenab asked.

"My prince we spotted a group of werewolves hovering around this place, we figured you might be in danger, we tried to stop them but they got away," Klaus explained.

"I thought it would be wise to warn you beforehand when we pick up your smell miles away," Klaus said as his tail swings.

"Alright Klaus thank you very much for the warning, I owe you once again," Zenab muttered hoping to get the chance to repay his debt.

"It's nothing my prince anything for your safety," he said turning over to look at me he walks closer to me and takes my hand, "hello princess Nancy, it's so good to see you again," he whispers with a smile without taking his eyes off me.

"Hi Klaus, same here," I said returning the smile as he let go of my hand and step back as Baby gives him deadly glares.

"I think it's best you go home now, we will keep an eye on the borders and make sure none of them is able to cross over from here," Klaus mumbled looking at Zenab before settling his gaze back on me.

"Well Nancy I didn't know you're friends with a centaur since, you never told me about it," Baby said sarcastically throwing a deadly glare towards Klaus.

"Come on Baby, this is not the time nor the place to start with your jealousy," I whisper into his ears.

"I was just asking, I thought we never keep anything from each other," he protest.

"Well, he happened to save me and Zenab when we fell from the cliff," I mumble, "we'll talk about this later, we need to get back to the palace," I added.

"Yes I agree, I'll get a car ready," Roland said as Zenab said goodbye to Klaus and they left almost immediately.

I couldn't stop wondering what if it was the werewolves? what if it was an enemy? I need to get full control over my powers, that way I can survive with my kids. I was lost in my thoughts the whole time we journeyed back to the palace.

Once we got out of the van, walking Barbara's eyes glowed, her eyes looked scary. Roland notice it faster and made me carry her to prevent others from seeing her eye color.

we headed straight to the lab, Roland and Zenab made a new bracelet, this time around it was a tiny rope, old fashion and very loose as they place it on their hands, Barbara's muff face made me feel I was putting my children in chains again.

I'm sorry princesses, mummy have to do this, but I promise you I'll get these chains off you and you won't have to hide from who you are," I said hugging them tight, it was a hard decision for me to make but I had to for their sake.

"My prince, I have been searching everywhere for you, we have a problem," one of Zenab's personal guard muttered as he walks into the lab refraining from saying much because there were more ears in the room.

"Come with me guys, I have your rooms ready," I muttered leading everyone else out of the room.

Zenab and his guards were left alone to talk, I hope whatever the problem is, he will be able to handle it. I turn my back to stare at the door one last time before leaving.

Zenab's POV

"Talk now," I scoff closing my eyes impatient to hear what the problem was, I have enough on my table already.

"It's the princesses,"

"What!" My eyes open in disbelief when I heard everything that had happened in my absence.

"Let's go," I ordered letting him take the lead to the princesses' chambers.

The three of them share separate chambers but in one hall, the eastern Palace is prepared for the future queen but since none of them is yet the queen, grandma allowed the three of them to stay there.

We entered the hall after my presence was announced, the three of them line up in the hallway to greet me slightly bowing their heads.

I can't even record their names. I whisper in the guard's ears as he reminds me of their names.

"Shelly," I mumbled standing in front of the first princess, I could feel her fresh scent from the distance I was.

"Yes my lord," she hissed.

"Molina," I whimpered standing next to the second princess, beautiful hair, nice curvy body.

"Yes my crown princes," she replied as I walk over to the next princess, looking down at her, she was a little different from the two. A little timid and reserved, I remember her on our first encounter she didn't even look at me in the face or even make any sound, I found that strange.

"Sharon,"

"Yes...yes my prince.. crown prince," she stammered and that was the longest word I have ever heard her utter.

I step aside after greeting all of them, it was tradition for them to greet me by kissing the ham of my garment.

"Remember this from now on when you speak to me, look me in my eyes," I ordered placing my hands behind my back.

"Is any of you displeased with me? Don't worry you can say it," I mumbled looking at their faces.

"No my prince," they shake their heads, "and you went on to complain to grandma about me? Well if you think I'm happy about the situation, I'm not, I will make it easy for all of you, you are free to leave back to your homes whenever you desire in fact I will personally make arrangements for it and no one will blame you for anything," I said sounding convincing but none of them dare accept my offer.

Well, there were no longer virgins meaning as princesses they can't be any other man's woman because they have been with me.

It either they stay or leave as my rejected wives.

They fall to their knees, "we are sorry, crown prince, we just answer the queen mother's questions," Shelly whispered in a low alluring voice, she is canning and knows the exact words to say.

I just wanted to have a day for myself and they already went on rattling me out.

"Sharon you will be sleeping in my room tonight," I mumbled turning to take my leave, I still need to go see grandma.

"Huh...me?" she whispered looking at me and then lowering her gaze when she saw my angry eyes.

"What you have a problem with that?" I pout.

"No my prince, I ... I," she said nervously.

"Good then," I said as I turn to leave, among the three of them fighting for my attention, she seems the least interested.

If I could get her to leave them I have one less problem to deal with.

I walk to my grandmother's chamber. To my surprise, Nancy was already with her.

"There he is, we were just talking about you Zenab, have you been able to handle your wives?" Grandma asked as I step into the room.

"Yes, grandma," I replied staring at Nancy.

My eyes widened as I was mesmerized by Nancy's outfit.

"Wow incredibly beautiful! Where did you get that dress from?" I mumble as Nancy happily turns around in the dress. she looks happy and free, not a mother nor a wife, just a happy teen.

"it's elegant right?" Nancy giggles spinning around.

"Yes very lavish," I hissed.

"It's one of mum's old clothes, in fact, grandma made it, especially for her wedding day, can I keep this grandma?" Nancy grins happily, now I get it, she is happy not because of the dress but to whom it belongs. It must be hard having to live without mum even though I never got to meet our mother, I miss her, and I will give anything in the world to have a glimpse of her face.

"Well yes, that is if you plan to get married, I will happily find you a handsome groom," grandma teased.

I smiled taking a seat next to grandma as Nancy's face dropped.

"Come on Grandma," she sniffs making a puppy face.

"It's a wedding dress, my dear, your mother was excited just like you when she first wore the dress, she couldn't wait to wear it out, unfortunately, she never got to wear it on her wedding day," grandma let out a soft chuckled, "you can wear it on Zenab's official ceremony," grandma resorted giving up on the idea of ever having to see Nancy wear it on her wedding day.

Nancy jumps in excitement. "Well your birthdays are coming, and it's going to be the first time you two celebrate it together, it going to be a grand celebration," grandma said happily.

I don't remember the last time I celebrated my birthday, I wasn't thrilled about it but I wonder why Nancy is also muff all of a sudden.

"Well since mum and dad passed away, I don't even remember that day exists, so no party grandma," Nancy hissed.

"Not happening, understand," grandma object firmly.
