Chapter 514 - The only person doesn’t care what others think about

Name:Tell Me Again, My Love Author:Fifie
"What do you think?" Mei Li asked after a while. She knew Ryn was still trying to accept the fact that people liked her 'boring' life. Even she was shocked to know how many people liked watching Ryn's episode and wanted more. It was weird though but as long as it brought more money, she did not mind at all.

"I..." Ryn took a deep breath to calm herself. This was bizarre for her. She never thought she would get another offer. To have another episode of her boring life?

"I suggest that you agree," Mei Li said quickly. She quickly opened to the last page and tapped the signature part. She even gave Ryn a pen to use..

Ryn frowned. This manager of hers was too excited. Well... overexcited to be precise. Ryn read the contract carefully. It seemed like the price they offered increased again, which was why Mei Li was so pleased. "Ah... this is what brought your smile."

Mei Li grinned.

Ryn sighed as she leaned her back against the couch. "Apart from the wedding preparation, my life is pretty boring."

"The thing is, you're the only one who just doesn't care what people think about you. You even include the Long and they gave you support by letting the crew filming them. Of course, people will want to know about it. And even when you're with Jeremy, you don't mind the PDA at all," Mei Li pointed out. It was what the producer told her when she asked why they wanted to film Ryn's life again.

"It's more like we forgot about the camera thanks to Mika's Youtube channel," Ryn mumbled. It was the truth. In the first episode, she was quite conscious with the camera as she needed to repeat back things just for the sake of the filming but in the second one, the director told her that she could just do whatever she wanted without the need to repeat anything. Hence, after several minutes, she forgot about their existence.

Luckily she did not do anything worse except for the trick as well as when she stared at the refrigerator hungrily. Other than that, she was not ashamed of what she did that day.

None whatsoever.

"Well, what do you think?" Mei Li asked hopingly. The crew said they would come as soon as possible to set the camera once they received an agreement from Ryn. And she was excited to show the world how unique and special Ryn was.

"I want to know too... if you want to be a regular for the show?" Mei Li asked after a while as she watched Ryn still deliberating over this matter.

"A regular? Do you mean letting the cameras following me around? No... Do you mean going to the studio weekly to comment about others' life? You do know I am not good with commenting," Ryn stared at her manager without a blink. She could not believe what her manager just suggested. She was going to comment on someone's activities?

The show would lose the viewers if they have to listen to her.

"Err..." Mei Li frowned. She forgot about that habit of Ryn. Ryn was a witty girl but when she had no mood, she could keep quiet or worst, go to sleep even though there were so many people around.

"If I were to agree, when will they come to film

me?" Ryn asked with a frown.

"Within this week?" Mei Li could not give an exact date but she knew it would be as soon as possible. The one thing she knew was that once Ryn signed the contract, she would immediately call the producer to share the good news.

"Hmm..." Ryn was still mulling over this. She tried to remember what activities and plans she had for the coming days, well, apart from the wedding day. That day was special and she put a line on it. She would not allow anyone to use Mika's special day for their own benefit. Besides, she did know that Mika already signed a company to record everything and both, Jason and Mika already agreed with a magazine for an exclusive of the wedding. The money would go straight to the foundation.

"If I were to agree with this, I don't want them during the days of Mika's wedding and honeymoon," Ryn told Mei Li seriously.

"Honeymoon?" Mei Li frowned. Why did Ryn mention the honeymoon? Wasn't it to be Mika's honeymoon with Jason?

"You don't know?" Ryn asked Mei Li weirdly. She thought, as her manager, Mei Li would know about the plan before she knew it. Mika and Jeremy always kept her in the dark for the sake of surprise but pull Mei Li in the plan as well so nothing could disturb the plan.

"Ah... can you fresh my mind?" Mei Li asked. She tried to remember but failed. Nothing came into her mind.

Ryn shook her head. She guessed, in Jeremy and Mika's excitement to include her, they forgot to inform Mei Li. Maybe because they knew Ryn was still on a break from the university while in terms of jobs, she still kept her calendar clear for those particular days.

"They're bringing me along for the honeymoon," Ryn explained. "I'm not sure for how many days but it won't be more than a week."

"Ah... okay," Mei Li quickly put it into the calendar. As she was not sure how many days Ryn would be gone, she simply blocked the whole week. She knew, during those days, Ryn would not accept any job no matter what. She would focus on Mika as her best friend. It was better for her just avoid any job for Ryn rather than having this model be angry at her.

Ryn reached for the pen and put down her signature. Then, she closed the file and pushed it to her manager. "Remember what I told you."

"Yes. Yes. I remember. Don't worry," Mei Li read the contract for the last time, especially as the signature, before she kept the file into her bag.

"Finish your coffee first," Ryn said when she saw Mei Li stood up hurriedly once she had the contract in her bag. She crossed her long legs and sipped her coffee slowly. There was nothing more to do but having the drink. As long as Mei Li was still here, she could not start planning her lunch.

Ryn sent her manager to the door and waved at Mei Li when her manager reached the elevator. "Bye    Mei Li."

"I'll call you once I have received the news. Bye," Mei Li waved before she entered the elevator.

She checked her phone and saw it was getting late. She should start planning the lunch so when Jeremy returned from work, the food was ready to be eaten.

She went upstairs to get another hair tie from Mika's room and actually made two braids for her hair. She did not want her hair to distract her from cooking. She even used the headscarf to secure the hair.

"Let's start," she mumbled, her arms stretched to prepare for the next work as she walked downstairs and into the kitchen. She cracked her neck before opened the refrigerator to take out chickens and vegetables. She let the chicken thaw and reached for the rice cooker to cook rice. She washed it and cooked just enough for two and let the cooker did its work. She opened the cabinet and looked for other ingredients for the chicken stew.

Although she did not eat vegetables, she still knew how to cook food that has vegetables. She would not stop Mika and Jeremy from having vitamins and other benefits from vegetables.

She prepared the vegetables while waiting for the chicken to thaw, she frowned to think what else could she make other than the chicken stew and an omelet. She really has no idea what else to make for lunch. She did not think making steaks were enough for Jeremy. She knew Jeremy would not say anything if she served him steaks but she did not want to be accused of not knowing how to cook when she kept eating steaks and even expected others to eat steaks when having a meal with her.

Once she was done with cooking those side dishes that took a shorter time to make, she checked on her stew. It still needed to be simmer for more before it was ready. Then, she went to the living room and switched on the radio. She looked at the CDs and chose one to play with.

She lied on the couch and listened to the music. It did seem like she treated this house as her own. She did not even care how she looked right now, with the braids, the headscarf, and the black sėxy tank top. Maybe that was why it was hard for Jeremy to leave when, in Mika's tank top, she looked sėxier than Mika.

She stretched her arms and let out a huge yawn. Hmm... it seemed like she was still sleepy but as she was still in the middle of cooking, she could not sleep. Not yet, anyway.
