Chapter 551 - Her exam result

The days spent with the couples just lazying around the islands. When they have the mood for it, they would go either snorkeling or just sunbathing on a yacht. If they were even too lazy to go somewhere else, they would choose one of the chalets and spend time together at the pool, fooling around. 

No work. No commitment.

It was a paradise.

Before long, a week has passed. It felt like a blink of an eye when they realized that their honeymoon/ holiday has come to an end. They had to pack their things and return home.

Jeremy helped Ryn pack their things while Jason asked Mika to rest while he did all the work.

Although there was a difference between the couple, but none of them felt weird with the arrangement.

Not even Ryn.

Tomorrow would be the day that they would leave this beautiful island and back to reality. Back to the real world.

Jeremy zipped the bag before putting it next to another bag on the floor. They only left the clothes for tomorrow out. For tonight's outfit, well, they did not wear much at night actually as Jeremy would take them off eventually. Hence, both simply wore bathrobes once they had their dinner and shower.

"Are you feeling sad that we have to leave this island tomorrow?" he asked after he landed his behind onto the bed and sat beside her. He pulled her so she would rest against him.

"Hmm..."

He smiled and kissed the top of her head gently. His fingers that were clasping her arm absentmindedly ċȧrėssing her. 

Almost automatically she turned and cuddled to him.

These past few days she was showered with love and care from him that it created a sort of habit for her body. Whenever they were lying down, her body would look for his for a cuddle. Even when they were sleeping, she would sleep in his arms.

"What do you if you move to my place to live?" He asked. With these past few days, he experienced what life was when he truly with her and he liked it so much. No argument, no jealousy. There rule of no work or anything related to it really helped them to grow their relationship closer.

And hopefully the wall around Ryn's heart has thinned enough to allow her to completely accepting him and his love.

His hand reached to poke her and the reply that came to him was a sleepy mumble.

She has fallen asleep when he was trying to have a meaningful discussion with her!

He sighed heavily. He knocked her sleepy head playfully before rewarded another kiss to her. Then, he carefully put her down and went to switch off the light.

It seemed like the tiredness from the snorkeling today made her body automatically demanded her to sleep quickly.

He gathered her back into his arms when he returned back to the bed, kissed her temple gently before he closed his eyes. Might as well go to sleep. Tomorrow he has to wake up early to arrange their breakfast.

The next morning...

She walked out from the bathroom, all warm and pink from the hot shower. She looked for her outfit that he thoughtfully left on the drawer and went back into the bathroom.

When she came out from the bathroom again, she was wearing the clothes. She did not have any dirty laundry as last night she was only wearing a bathrobe to sleep (and of course when she woke up in the morning, she was in her birthday suit).

With a confused mind, she clicked to read the email and slapped her head. How could she even forget that it was almost the end of her break and it was usual for these few days that the result from the exam would be released any day.

She quickly clicked the link and typed her student's ID and the password to get to the result's page. Her heart was pounded so hard as she waited. The internet connection was pretty good here so it did not take a long time for the page to appear.

She read with bated breath before a scream came out from her lips. She could not help herself. She was even jumping around in her excitement after seeing the result.

Jeremy, Mika and Jason rushed into the chalet when they heard the scream. Their eyes widened to see the usuqlly quiet and calm Ryn jumping around and then threw herself on the bed.

"What happen?" Mika asked hurriedly. Ryn did not seem to be in pain nor receiving any bad or sad news. Ryn looked happy.

Ryn lifted her head and looked at the three confused people in the room. She quickly sat up and smiled widely.

"I've received my result," she said as she showed her phone to them.

"Oh... so how is it?" Mika asked hurriedly. She eas excited too because she knew how much Ryn worked hard for her study in between the modelling jobs. Ryn must have suffered a lot because modelling was tiring too and then she has to ensure she did not miss any of her study. Yes, she was allowed to skip her classes but she still received notes and private class online by her lecturers whereby she would ask questions on those things that she did not understand and requested for clarification.

"I've gotten all As," she replied happily. "4.0"

"Really? Congratulations." Mika cried happily as she went to hug her best friend.

"Congratulations, Ryn," Jason said. He did not make a move. He just watched dotingly as his wife hugged and screamed with Ryn.

Jeremy, on the other hand, just smiled as he waited for his turn. He watched as his little sister even kissed Ryn's cheeks in her excitement.

"My love, we must have a party to celebrate this," Mika suddenly suggested as she looked at her husband.

"Sure," Jason agreed without thinking. What Mika wants, Mika gets.

Mika blinked her eyes to her husband in touch. She was so lucky to have the most understanding and loving husband in the whole world.

Ryn looked up at the ceiling as the newlyweds started to share loving look before the climax; she jumped into his arms and rewarded him with a huge kiss.

Jeremy stepped foward to go to his speechless girlfriend. With a smile, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her lips gently.

"Congratulations," he whispered against her soft rosy lips.

"Thank you," she only managed to say that before he kissed her again.

"Later we will have our private celebration without those gooseberries," he nodded toward his little sister and her husband.

"I don't mind if they join us," she replied. Her eyes were on him but she was not worried his words hurt Mika. His voice was too low for Mika and Jason to hear.

"But I do mind," he replied and nipped her buŧŧon nose teasingly. "I just want the two of us... a candlelit dinner... no interruption from anyone..."

Her lips twitched. Could he be more obvious? He was still jealous over her close friendship with Mika. Hasn't he realized that even if Mika and her so close, closer than the relationship between siblings, Mika has married to Jason and she, if God allows, would marry him. There was no reason whatsoever for him to be jealous over Mika.

He was being his silly self.

They were finally ready for their breakfast after almost five minutes sharing kisses with their partner. The men helped their partner into the cart. After the first breakfast, the couple sat beside each other with Mika and Jason in front while Ryn and Jeremy sat behind them.

Their favourite breakfast place was at the cape. With the umbrella protecting them from the sky, they enjoyed their breakfast while looking at the blue sea. After breakfast, the couples would walk hand-in-hand along the beach to digest the food. Mika also took the chance to take a short videos and a couple of photos for memory.

Once they were done, they returned back to the chalet via the golf cart. This time Mika and Ryn sat together as Mika wanted to take a few photos as their memory. It was the last trip from the cape and she did not want to waste the chance. 

Mik even took a short video, talking about her feeling during the past few days, her happiness that Jason was here. Her happiness that Ryn could join them too. And as it was the last trip they would have from the cape, she was also a bit sad but Jason quickly chirped that they could return here whenever she wanted.

Mika smiled widely as she confessed her love there and then at him, ignoring Ryn, Jeremy and the cart's driver.
