Name:Tell Me Again, My Love Author:Fifie
"How is he, doctor?" Mrs. Si asked hurriedly once she saw the family's doctor writing something.

"He only has a fever," the doctor told both women politely and then turned to look at the butler waiting beside him. "If his temperature hasn't gone down after three days, please bring him to the hospital."

"Please make sure he stays hydrated and eat light food," the doctor reminded the butler.

"Are you sure it's not serious?" Mrs. Si asked as she and Angela followed the doctor out.

"Don't worry, Madam. It's nothing serious," the doctor assured her.

Mrs. Si reached for Angela's hand, hoping for strength. It was worrying about seeing her healthy son suddenly felt sick. With no sign or warning. He never got sick even when he fell apart from Lia, his ex-girlfriend. At that time, he just shrugged it off and went to the court for his basketball game. But today...

"Why does it feel like he's sick because of that... girl?" Mrs. Si asked her sister-in-law.

"I think so too," Angela replied.

"Do you think..."

"I don't think so. She's the kind of girl who knows what she wants and won't change her mind because of money."

"But..."

"Aiyo, my dearest sister-in-law. I also like the girl and I want her to be my niece-in-law. She makes a delicious chocolate cake and very considerate too. But she... she only does what she wants and not because of someone else."

Mrs. Si looked at her poor son, worried about the way he handled his broken heart. But... what if she went to see the girl and asked her to consider her son?

The girl would not say no to her request, wouldn't she? She would even promise to dote and pamper her for the rest of her life.

"I want to meet her," Mrs. Si said finally. She made up her mind to go to the girl and check on her. But she was not worried at all. Her son's taste would not be that low.

Angela looked at her sister-in-law silently. This would not end well, she knew it.

"Can you contact her?" Mrs. Si looked at her hopingly.

Angela looked at her nephew and sighed. She took out her phone and looked for Ryn's number. Without wasting another second, she directly called Ryn but her heart was stuck in the middle. On one part, she was hoping for Ryn to answer the call but on the other part, she wished for Ryn to be so busy, she did not notice the call.

Please, don't answer the call, Ryn. Please...

*~*~*~*

Ryn leaned down to get her bag when it rang.

"Angela, my ex-neighbor," Ryn explained. She was a bit in a puzzle with Angela's sudden call. Was there any problem with the house? But... she already handed it to the agent to sell it. There shouldn't be any problem, should it?

"Hello, Angela. Is there anything I can do to help?" Ryn asked rather bluntly. Her voice was in a gasp when Jeremy, being in the mood of naughty, placed one hand on her thigh and stroked it playfully.

"Jeremy," she hissed, glaring warningly.

"Hmm...?" he was acting so innocently, if the hand which was not on her thigh was no longer there, she would believe him. She would think that she was dreaming in the morning.

"Your hand," she muttered underneath her breath.

"Oh..." his brows lifted in a show of a puzzle and he pulled his hand off from her thigh. He cleared his throat, "Do you believe if I say it's not my fault?"

Ryn squinted her eyes in disbelief. How could he have no shame at all when he uttered it?

"Erm... Ryn, are you free today?" Angela asked slowly. Her voice snapped Ryn back to the conversation and she could not help from blushing. What was she doing forgetting about Angela?

"I do have work today. What is it, Angel?" Ryn asked. She slapped Jeremy's naughty hand which was trying to snake to her thigh again. He was so shameless!

"Erm... the thing is... Harry is not well. I was hoping..." Angela looked at her sister-in-law.

"What? Harry is sick? How is he?" Ryn asked hurriedly.

Jeremy's face darkened when he heard Harry's name. What was that annoying boy doing disturbing his time with his beloved?

"We need your help," Angel stuttered. She was still uncertain whether this was a good idea. Would this make her nephew even more stressed?

"Help?" Ryn looked at Jeremy in a puzzle. What kind of help could she give? She was not that good at art. She did not know much about painting.

"Can you come to visit Harry?" Angela asked slowly.

"Of course I can. We're friends," Ryn said without thinking, not noticing the look from Jeremy.

"So... what time do you think you can come? We... we don't want to disturb you but..."

"It's okay. No worry. I understand. I will call you once I'm done with my work," Ryn said reassuringly. She ignored the poke from Jeremy who was unsatisfied with the way she handling the request. He already has a plan for today. Why should he change it for someone unimportant?

Ryn finally noticed the dark look on her boyfriend's face once she ended the conversation with Angela. She frowned seeing his face. "What's wrong, J? Are you not feeling well?"

He chewed his bottom lip before took a deep breath, "What are you talking about with that woman?"

Her eyes narrowed hearing his question. That woman? Was he for real? Was this the right time to be jealous? And to a woman?

"Has the factory leaking?" she asked suddenly.

"Leaking?" he frowned, momentarily forgetting about his jealousy at her sudden change of topic. He looked at her questioningly.

"You... Have you drunk the whole factory of vinegar?" she asked with a sly smile.

"Vinegar?" his frown deepened. He did not understand what she meant by that. Since when did he drink vinegar? He was driving the car the whole time!

She chuckled seeing the confused look on his face. Even though he was always in the news on both the entertainment side and business side, it was cute to see him unable to understand the internet slang. She who was not that interested in her surrounding still knew about it. It made her feel happy. So happy.

"You... do you need to be jealous of Harry? He's my friend," she explained.

"But I'm your lover," Jeremy said stubbornly.

"What's the difference between friend and lover? You should know, right?"

"Hmph..." he was unsatisfied with the way she's explaining. She did not even try to coax him. She did not even try to reject the request from Angela. As his girlfriend, she should avoid being with another man, especially with that young boy.

She reached for his free hand and rubbed it gently to soothe him. She could guess the reason behind his unhappiness. It was both funny and annoying and she did not know whether to laugh or cry seeing his reaction. It was just Harry, for Godsake. Her friend, Harry. And he was sick. It was normal for a friend to visit a sick friend. There was no reason to get jealous over a small matter.

"Cool. Just keep it cool. Harry and I are just friends," she assured.

"But..."

"Babe, chill. There is nothing to be jealous about between Harry and I. Trust me," she coaxed.

"Hmph..."

"Jeremy~"

"What if I don't want you to go?" he asked.

"Jeremy~"

"If it's a woman, I won't have this uneasiness. I don't like you close to him," he said. "He likes you. He wants to steal you from me."

"You know, green is not a good color for you."

"Catherine, I am being serious right now. I don't want you to go see him."

"What if I ask Mika to come along with me. She's still taking days off to prepare for her wedding, right?" she used another way to change his mind.

"Why are you being difficult, J?" she groaned when she saw how stubborn he was.

"I am not," he denied.

She covered her face and groaned loudly. No wonder it took her so long just to accept him back. His jealousy was driving her crazy!

"Why don't you just call Angela back and tell her that you have another plan that you cannot cancel. She will understand," he suggested.
