Feng Xiantian was confused, his thoughts were in disarray as the woman who probably was his mother continued to pour 'Spiritual Energy' into his body without stopping.

Tears.

He could feel the tears of his own mother falling down to his own face. No matter how much she tried to hold them back, she just could not stop them.

He felt an invisible pain ambush his feelings. He desperately wanted to stop the tears falling down from her face, yet he was limited in doing such.

He hated being powerless. He felt tired, his eyelids slowly close due to feeling tired

He'd deal with this later.

Feng Xiantian's time with his 'mother' was rather short. When he woke up again, he did not know where he was. According to his observation, he was nowhere near the place he was born, neither could he feel the presence of his mother.

He furrowed his almost non-existing eyebrows and his tiny arms moved around, desperately seeking something it had lost.

His almost non-existing Spiritual Sense spread into his surroundings, he felt the presence of several people around him. Compared to his mother's bottomless reserves which could be compared to an ocean, theirs was akin to a small drop in the ocean.

After several days of trying to learn this foreign language, with some 'inside' help he had managed to learn a bit of it.

"Not...Our...Family"

Feng Xiantian knitted his non-existing eyebrows yet again, from what he could understand his mother had dropped him into a random home somewhere in this world.

"Scary...Man...Attack." He picked another three words. It could be seen that either a servant of his mother or his own father had delivered him here.

"Choice...Adopt...Die...Us." The older one of the two in front of him wanted to convince the woman next to him that their best choice was to accept the order the man had given them.

Was he being adopted by a family he did not know at all?

Feng Xiantian sighed in disappointment, but then froze upon seeing the irony.

In his first life, he had been an orphan.

He had traveled the many dimensions seeking power, ignoring stuff like love or family. Perhaps… In this life, he'd be able to find the one thing he lacked the most.

"Son...Second...Ours." Feng Xiantian closed his eyes, seeking sleep. There would be another time to worry about this, he was still an infant after all.

~~

Feng Xiantian was used to struggling in life. When he had been extremely young and his cultivation prowess had been lacking, he was beaten left and right.

Not for a single time did he complain. The moment he became stronger than his bullies, he broke their Mortal Sparks and made them cripples.

This was also one of the reasons why he was exiled from one of the sects he had been part of. He was deemed to be too wild to be controlled by the elders of the sect or anyone else, to be frank.

His ruthlessness was unmatched in the entire Chaotic Realm, it was not even a debate at this point.

When the Chaotic Realm had collapsed under the power of the two White and Black Holes, Feng Xiantian's mind had been engulfed with information of the various herbs, techniques, myths, legends and many more.

Fortunately for him, he had not absorbed the memories of the cultivators or mortals, otherwise even a Divine Ancestor being like him would faint and possibly die from the overwhelming amount of information.

The reason he slept most of the time was not merely because he was an infant which required a lot of sleep, but also because he was trying to repair the damage done to his soul because of the always flowing information.

He estimated that by the age of 4 or 5 he'd already been in a top quality form. His soul probably would have an enormous amount of potential, making bottlenecks vanish easily.

Someone like Feng Xiantian was not to be underestimated when it came to willpower. When Feng Xiantian mentioned previously that he faced more than a hundred assassination attempts by the Ancestral Profound Sect, there were many times when he was caught.

He then was tortured to the point where many others would simply lose their will to fight back and also lose their sense of pain.

This was also the reason why Feng Xiantian himself was so ruthless to the members of the AncestralProfound Sect. He had thoughtfully researched every single member of the sect.

Knowing that most disciples would be indeed watching the tournament, he had acted there and killed every evildoer of the sect.

Feng Xiantian was not a warrior of justice, he had suffered enough in life to know that there was no such thing as justice. He merely was doing that on a whim. He was sure that among these he had killed, some were far more innocent than the rest.

However, he did not regret his actions in the slightest!

In his time as part of this small family who claimed to be part of some type of guild, Feng Xiantian quickly learned that none of them actually bothered to learn cultivation techniques.

Truly, the basic and most elemental techniques were those of cultivation. They speed up one's cultivation, what you could achieve in ten years without cultivation techniques, with top quality ones you could achieve in one month!

This could only mean one thing. The cultivations of the people around him were too low to even be compared to the ones back at his world.

With a cultivation technique, Feng Xiantian could quickly breakthrough to the next realm in a matter of minutes if he so wished.

However, he was not exactly sure if his foundation would remain as sturdy as it had done before. In his first life, the 'incomplete' technique had served him for a long time and his foundation had never weakened.

The days passed quickly, Feng Xiantian quickly realized that the world he was in was a backward place, who could even be considered barbarians by some.

Although their technology wasn't in the worst state possible, due to the use of Qi they practically were limited in what they could do.

Feng Xiantian's planet was not the most advanced one, but it did not rely on Qi or any type of Energy like Spiritual Energy to complete a task.

~~

From what he could understand, he was in a massive continent called the Nine Provinces. The Province he was currently in was called the Azure Province. He heard his 'parents' talk about the Jiang Dynasty a lot so they probably were something along the overlords of a region or the continent.
