Chapter 192 - TEAM WORK

Songyan watched as her brother stood beside her protectively, and smiled. Let's get this over with.

"Shiya, why are you just standing there? And my brother standing here?"

Cui Yao hissed, "Song..."

"Songyan. Songyan. Songyan. Can y'all just let me be?" Songyan turned to eye Cui Yao. "Seems you aren't satisfied with just sitting down, do you want to wheeled around? Hunh?" Songyan then giggled. "Better stay out of this."

"Shiya, i heard that back then in school you were the number one pretender. You pretended to be happy when Xueyan came in and started having marks higher than yours. You pretended not to notice her, but actually sent those two bitches, what is their name again... Whatever,  after Xueyan. Now again, you want to start from where you stopped... What does that make you?" Songyan grinned. "A bitch! A cunning fox! A witch!" Songyan took bold steps closer to Shiya. 

Shiya's jaw tightened, her hands balled into fists as veins on her temple bulged.

"What you gon do?" Songyan was enjoying taunting her. "You know, you don't scare me one bit. It's because I know you in and out... You can't do me nothing, hahaha."

"Song... Songyan..." Shiya called through gritted teeth. "Don't say things you know nothing about..."

"Oh really?" The doors opened to reveal a stunning Jiuwen, dressed in a glittering royal blue ankle length gown. "We all know that, we just pretended not to." She made quick eye contact with Xueyan then shifted it to Zhaolin whom in return looked away.

That simple action broke her heart into a million pieces, but she couldn't blame him.

"What then?" Shiya finally said. "Since you all knew, why did you keep quiet? Why?"

Many of them shared looks and then back at Shiya.

"Since y'all knew I was the master mind why didn't you say it then? WHY? Because y'all are hypocrites! Y'all watched Cui Yao and Chen Qingnuan bully her but turned a blind eye..."

"I never did," Jiuwen cut through Shiya's statement.

"Whatever!" Shiya snorted. "You say that to deceive yourself. To console yourself! Meanwhile each and everyone of you were part of her misery... Y'all watched with glee... Y'all watched her get rȧpėd..."

"SHUT UP!!!" Jiuwen slapped Shiya across the face.

The slap was so hard that it made Shiya face the other side, then slowly she straightened with tears in her eyes she started to laugh.

"Hahahaha! You know what, I'm tired of pretending. I'm tired of all the acting," she hugged herself. "Everything I did was for Zhaolin,"

At the mention of his name, Zhaolin's face scrunched up.

"I did it for him, for him to love me. For him to see only me, I had to make Xueyan disappear, but still... He never took a second look at me. He never even considered me as second option, how do you expect me to still stay sane? Just tell me how‽"

"Psychos are always looking for whom to blame," Xueyan's eyes moved from her perfectly painted nails to Shiya's face. "Psychos, everyone all have someone to blame. Like, why are you blaming someone for your evil and vile nature?" She shook her head. "I don't get it."

Shiya raised a brow up. "I'm still talking, I'll tell you when to talk you dirty pig..."

"Speaking of dirty pig, what is it with you and Andy?" Xueyan turned just in time to catch Andy's shocked expression. 

Her question made eyes move in-between Shiya and Andy.

"The two of you have been acting weird since high school. Oh! Oh! Andy is your errand dog, I was thinking way too much."

Zhaolin was surprised by Xueyan's question as well, how much does she know? He knew the errand dog was to confuse everyone in the room.

"Xueyan can you just shut up?" Qingnuan was fed up. "We all know how you seduced brother Zhao, and pretended to be friends with everyone. And at the end it backfired. You. Were. Raped."

"Hahahaha," Cui Yao couldn't contain her laughter.

Ru Fangxi smirked, enjoying the show.

Jiuwen opened her mouth to say something but Xueyan was quicker.

"And I think I just found out who orchestrated the plan..."

"..."

"..."

Xueyan lifted her train, walked forward to meet the two friends standing side by side. "It was your group!"

Qingnuan staggered backwards. Xueyan eyes moved in between them, and she was looking them straight in the eyes.

Sweat broke out of Shiya's head.

"What nonsense‽" Shiya found herself sooner.

Zhaolin made a mental note of that, if they really planned it then, it would be either Andy or any of his two friends. And the imagination made his head ache, and his heart felt like it was been pierced by newly made needles. 

Jiuwen's hands gripped her gown as she felt intense pain herself but tried to hide it.

"You're the master mind." Xueyan grabbed Shiya by the collar. "You can't deny it anymore, and I promise not to sit and watch anymore."

"Get away from me you wretched girl," Shiya used all her strength in pulling Xueyan's hands away from her dress. "What evidence do you have? Hmm? Tell me! What evidence do you have?"

"You just wait," a smile blossomed on Xueyan's. "Just wait and watch me destroy everything you have... I'll leave no stone unturned! If I have to go back into that dark memory lane, I'll do it. Just so I can snatch your peace and happiness... Oh, I already have your happiness. Hahaha. Let's see who gets the last laugh."

"And you think I'll do nothing?" Shiya was furious. "I'll end your career!"

"You're in no position to worry about my career. Firstly, make sure your father wins his election, because I don't think I'll let him win... Hahaha, imagine the shock on his face when you're all over the screen, being pulled by the police with cuffs on your wrist... Have you ever imagined hell?" Xueyan shook her head as tears slid down her face. "I have been there, but the devil didn't want me. He told me you're the one he wanted... So soon, I'll send you to him. Hahaha."

Xueyan got on the stage and collected the microphone from Tang Wanwan.

"I don't think I'm loud enough, with these everyone will be able to hear me."

Shiya was panick-stricken. She couldn't do or say anything. 

"You love fame and power, and you've the two." Xueyan looked like a goddess about to dish punishment to a slave. "I'll take away the power and fame and leave you with only shame."

"Shame that even your family name won't be able to clean it."

"Shame that will reveal your family to the whole world."

"Oh yes, your father didn't actually marry your mother. Your mother was a servant, a house maid that got pregnant. I know that your father is disgusted by your mother, that is why in high school you wanted to have good marks, so your grandma will love your mother and then perhaps, your father will too... I know way too much. Hehehe!"

Shiya's mouth hung open all these while. How? How? Just how does she know all these?

"I know you are wondering how I know, I overheard you talking to Andy one time at school, then you cried and he had to kiss you to stop you from crying."

"..." Everyone else in the room.

"Disgusting." Xueyan giggled. "Like mother, like daughter!"

Their other classmates started to whisper.

All these information made Ru Fangxi uncomfortable, what if there's something that Xueyan knows about her too? What if she said it into the microphone? She nervously bit on her artificial nails.

Songyan came to whisper into her ear. "This Xueyan is so cool... Don't you agree?"

Fangxi didn't say anything.

"But she won't be so cool if she starts spewing facts about you, why do you have to be her enemy?" Songyan tsked. "Beg for mercy, so she can overlook you."

"Beg what?" Fangxi didn't like the fact her cousin was supporting Xueyan. "You should be on my side."

"If she comes after you, I'm switching from a Ru to a Li. I can't have a stained reputation. Wait, did you guys even learn anything in school? You were all busy bullying poor pupils that's why so many of you are actors today. Tueh!" Songyan made a disgusted expression. "Thankfully my hubby is smart and Zhaolin is too."

Fangxi thought it would be best to have one enemy, she couldn't risk Songyan turning against her too, so she only watched her make those hurtful comment.

"This Xueyan is smart too, she knows y'all secret. I still can't believe she let y'all plan her rȧpė..."

"I was never part of that plan, if there was any." Ru Fangxi didn't want to be an accomplice of such an evil ordeal.

"We will know when Xueyan gathers evidence." Songyan spun around and went back to her man.

"It's a shame that you still have the liver to talk, even though you had put yourself in the position of rȧpė..."

"Now that's enough!" Dai Jingyao kicked down the table close to him. Causing the bottles on it to topple over and shatter.
