"What act did you just pull in there?" Fangxi angrily asked. "None of those things you said in there was actually our reason of us coming here."

"Cousin Fangxi, are you aware that the director and producer called a meeting?" Yichen asked.

"Not like I care! After making me look stupid all these while you think I would care what those two old men did?" She gave a dry laugh. "Songyan?" She stretched the name.

"What?" Songyan asked like she hadn't heard her complaining.

"What do you mean by what?" Fangxi wanted to wail. "Are you for real?"

"Yes." Songyan said then let go of her brother hand. "None of the things you said about her was actually true! She's a nice person, I'm sure you are misunderstanding her..."

"Misunderstanding, my foot."

"Yes, your foot but let me finish. That young lady in there is sweet," Songyan looked up at the sky and sighed with a sweet smile on her face. "I really don't understand how you have a problem with someone like her. She's not just nice on television like you, she's true to everything and I want you to take away this hate in you. Xiangyang is teaching me how to become a better version of myself. Seeing people in another light. Life is not that hard, darling. Try, maybe you'd find love and peace just like me."

Both Yichen and Fangxi were shocked senseless.

There was a round of applause for her. "Thank you, thank you all." And she sat back down.

"Congratulations to you two, Ru Yichen and Shen Q for making it to the billboard chart with your new singles "love me" and "everlasting" It's a great feeling to know you two are under All Stars Media and making us proud." Director Ye said, with a broad smile on his face. 

Another round of applause bursted in the large room.

The two stood up to bow. "Thank you," they said in unison.

"Congratulations Xiujun, for winning the model of the year award for the third time." Producer Fang said.

It was yet another round of applause.

Xiujun chuckled lightly while saying his thanks.

"We are really proud of y'all, congratulations once again." Director Ye and Producer Fang said happily.

The congratulations went on to many other actors.

"Now, y'all will need to pick a partner for the award show." Director Ye said with all seriousness.

A frown marred Yichen's face, this year again? Why always make them do things they didn't like? 

"Any objection?" Director Ye asked.

When no one rejected, he stood up, sighed in relief then said. "Till then,"

"Y'all did amazing," Producer Fang said. "I really mean it."

"You're my partner," Qiangshen said to Yuxi after making sure they were out of ear shot.

She showed her surprise. "No,"

"Yes, who else?" Qiangshen frowned.

"I really..." She trailed off. "Okay." Yuxi bade Xueyan goodbye as they still had a party to crash.
