Chapter 191 - The In-Between Story: Ping Ping’s 18th Birthday (2/2)

“Ah… Thanks for warning me,” Wen Dong sighed, “I really didn’t hurt him, Ah Shun.”

“I know,” Shun sighed and the sound of a baby’s cry entered the speaker, “Don’t worry. He’ll be fine.”

Wen Dong said his goodbyes and headed to the bathroom again. He took a deep sigh and knocked quietly.

“Ah Ping, I know you called Suu Jin. If you are dressed, you could wait for him outside…”

Shuffling of footsteps neared the door and he stepped back a few feet away from the bathroom. Ping Ping opened the door and avoided his eyes. Wen Dong stared at his boyfriend unsure what it was that made the pinkette so upset.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered and headed to the front door. He opened it to find a car pulling up to the front. Holding the door opened, Ping Ping still was staring at the floor as he walked out of the house. The car passenger window was rolled down and Wen Dong could see Suu Jin’s eyes narrowed at him.

Once Ping Ping was in the car, Jin pulled out of the parking lot. His baby cousin was sniffling beside him and squeezing small knees. Jin reached out and patted the pinkette’s head.

“I will beat him up.”

“No!” Ping Ping shouted quickly and shook his head, “I…”

Ping Ping paused for a long moment before looking at Jin.

“He… He touched me.”

“Then I will kill him.”

“No!” Ping shook his head again, “Don’t hurt him!”

“Then tell me what he did!” Jin shouted back, “What did he do to make you cry?”

Ping Ping quieted down and didn’t say anything. Jin groaned and rubbed his face. When Ping called him, Jin dropped what he was doing and didn’t even say goodbye. He ran straight to his car and took off. Now seeing Ping Ping the way he was, Jin wanted to shake his friend to find out what happened.

This was supposed to be the day! Ping Ping had talked about it for so long and even Wen Dong had mentioned his nervousness. Yet, here he was picking up Ping Ping and leaving Wen Dong alone at his home.

“It just… It felt weird.”

“…”

“…”

“…”

“I’m scared,” Ping Ping began crying again and Jin pulled to the side to stop. Putting the car in park, he looked over at his cousin. He blinked and blinked.

“Ah Ping.”

“W… what?”

“So… he touched you, there,” Jin pointed in between Ping’s legs and the pinkette nodded, “Only touch?” Ping Ping nodded and Jin continued, “So you are scared of what?”

“…”

“Ah Ping.”

“I don’t know!” Ping Ping covered his face, “I don’t know!”

Jin sighed and leaned over to rub his cousin’s hair. Big green eyes looked at him and Jin offered a smile.

“It is new to you. Did it feel good?”

Ping Ping shrugged but his ears were bright red.

“Ah Dong is probably scared too,” Jin began driving the car again, “He was nervous today because he had been waiting to be with you for a long time, Ah Ping.”

“Really?” Ping blinked green eyes at him.

“Mm,” Jin nodded, “Earlier, before you went to see him, “He was talking to Ah Shun for a long time. He kept talking about all the things he had prepared. He went over it over and over, I had to tell him to shut up.”

“Don’t be mean to Ah Dong,” Ping frowned and Jin let out a laugh.

“I told him he is stupid.”

“Ah Jin!”

“And he should forget about today because he is pathetic.”

“Biao ge!”

“He doesn’t deserve you and should forget even getting my approval.”

“Suu Jin!” Ping huffed angrily, “Stop being mean to Ah Dong! I love Ah Dong and we will be together like you and gege! Ah Dong is nice and tall and handsome and my best friend. If you don’t let me and Ah Dong together than you will not be with Ah Shun.”

“Pssh, what can you do about it?” Jin smirked, “Ah Shun and I are already together and we have kids to raise. You can’t break us up even if you wanted to.”

Ping Ping pouted with his arms crossed before his eyes brightened.

“I will tell Ah Shun you were mean to me and Ah Dong. You don’t love Angel and Peter and you are still talking to Lisa.”

“…”

Ping Ping looked proud of himself and Jin frowned.

“You are going to lie…”

“I will add more,” Ping Ping said confidently and Jin’s frowned deeper.

“You can try, but Ah Shun won’t believe you.”

“Fine!” Ping threw his chin up and waited until they got to the house. Once the car was parked, Ping quickly left the car and knocked on the door. When Shun opened it, Ping Ping was already shouting things at him.

“Gege! Ah Jin has been bad. He said he wants to kill Ah Dong!”

“Huh?” Shun blinked surprised and headed to the couch feeding Angel in his arms, “Speak softer Ah Ping, and slower.”

“Ah Jin says he want to kill Ah Dong.”

“Why?” Shun questioned, “Did he hurt you?”

“No,” Ping twiddled his fingers, “I just… was scared, BUT biao ge said he doesn’t want me and Ah Dong together. That isn’t fair!”

“Mm, not fair,” Shun nodded and pulled the bottle out of Angel’s mouth.

“Right!” Ping huffed and watched Shun placed the baby girl over his shoulder to burp.

Suu Jin walked into the house and quickly began speaking.

“Whatever Ping said is not true.”

Shun turned to him with a quirk of his brow. It didn’t help that Ping Ping was frowning deeply at him.

“I am not speaking with Lisa like that again and I love the twins and I love you,” Jin took Shun’s hand and was waiting for a response.

“You’re not in love with Lisa?”

“No.”

“You love the twins.”

“Yes.”

“…”

“…”

“I already knew that.”

“…”

“But you don’t like Ah Dong… still,” Shun frowned patting Angel’s back gently.

“I like Ah Dong, but he sometimes does things stupidly,” Jin sighed and looked at his baby cousin, “Look at him. He called me crying like Ah Dong ra-”

“Don’t finish that!” Shun glared, “For you to think he would do something like that means you don’t trust him.”

“…”

“Ah Ping,” Shun turned to the pinkette, “Tell me what is going on.”

Ping Ping nodded, “Ah Dong took off my pants and didn’t want to touch me, but I told him I want to. I took off my shirt and waited, but Ah Dong said he wanted to just hold me. I told him I wanted to have sex and he… He touched me here,” Ping pointed in between his legs, “And… I… It felt weird and I ran to the bathroom.”

“…”

“But I still love Ah Dong. I’m not mad at him,” Ping admitted.

Shun smiled softly. Ping Ping was still just an innocent boy, even at 18. Nodding, Shun handed Angel to Jin to put to bed. Holding Ping Ping in his arms, Shun sighed and made a video call to his childhood friend.

“Ah Dong,” Shun greeted and Ping Ping flushed seeing his boyfriend’s face, “He’s fine.”

“Ah Dong,” Ping greeted quietly, “Sorry.”

“It’s okay. I’m glad your fine,” Wen Dong sighed, “Ah, maybe I didn’t do a good job.”

“No! It was really really good!” Ping Ping flushed and covered his face with his hands.

Shun laughed watching Ping Ping being shy and blunt, while Wen Dong looked like a red tomato with wide purple eyes. Jin returned from the bedroom and joined Shun and Ping. Looking at the new couple, he snorted and sat beside Shun. Wrapping an arm around his lover, Jin looked at the screen.

“Wen Dong.”

“Jin.”

“Ah Jin, be nice,” Ping Ping frowned at him and the idol prince sighed defeated with a smile.

“Come get him,” Jin said, “I don’t want him here.”

“What?” Ping looked at him with sad eyes, “Biao ge don’t love me!”

Ping Ping cried and Shun looked at Jin confused. Wen Dong said he would pick Ping up and hung up the phone. Jin patted his cousin’s head and rolled his eyes.

“Ah Ping, you are so dramatic. Go sleep with Wen Dong. That’s what you want for your birthday, isn’t it?”

“Go wash your face,” Shun wiped some tears off the chubby cheeks. Ping Ping headed to the restroom and Shun looked at his boyfriend.

“What? I want you all to myself,” Jin grinned as he admitted it.

“Ah Jin,” Shun looked disappointed, but the grin quickly spread across his lips, “You are bad.”

By the time Wen Dong picked Ping up and brought him back to his place, Ping Ping seemed calmer. He waited to see what the birthday boy was going to do, but all Ping Ping did was turn on the tv. Relaxing his shoulders, Wen Dong joined sitting beside his boyfriend.

“Ah Dong,” Ping Ping leaned against him as they watched the show, “I love you.”

“Love you too, Ah Ping,” Wen Dong wrapped an arm around the pinkette’s waist.

Ping Ping sighed happily. Although they didn’t have sex like he had wanted, he was happy being Wen Dong’s boyfriend. Next time, he would be braver and they would make love so they could be closer. Right now, he was happy being wrapped up in Wen Dong’s arms.

“Happy birthday, Baby Ping.”

Smiling, Ping Ping fell asleep feeling warm and loved.

Wen Dong was finally his.
