Shun immediately pulled back enough to see the pinkette’s face.

“What happened in your dream?”

“I was walking to meet you. I… had a gift for your birthday, I think,” Jin recalled cupping his face, “I wanted to ask you out, but then… something hit me. All I remember was the stars in the sky and making a wish.”

“A wish?” Shun whispered.

“Something about seeing you again,” Jin thought about the dream, “It felt so real.”

“Ah Jin…” Shun pulled the hands off his face to interlock them, “If I told you it… it was real, would you believe me?”

“What?”

“I…” Shun started, but the next thing he saw was blackness, “Wait… What is happening?”

“Xiong Shun, such a pretty boy but such a dummy,” the old witch sighed shaking her head, “Why are you going to tell him? There is no need for that.”

“Why can’t I? And why do you still have Prince Peter’s face and body!” Shun frowned deeply.

“Forget that,” the old witch waved it off, “How are you going to tell Suu Jin that he and Prince Peter are the same person, that you two are soulmates? What if you can’t stay and have to return? Did you not think about how much more hurt he would be to know his soulmate is in his past? That he won’t find you in his world?”

“…”

“Stupid boy,” the witch patted his arm, “Good thing I am a nice witch,” she smiled, “I spoke with Xiong Shun.”

“You have! Thank you! What… What did he say?”

“Ask him yourself,” the witch moved her arm to another spotlight in the dark room. There stood a man that looked just like him back in his kingdom. Smiling, he headed to the man and bowed.

“Xiong Shun, hello.”

“Shun Nottingale. It is nice to finally meet you,” the man smiled and returned the bow.

“How… How is it living with my family and the kingdom?” Shun asked and the man laughed.

“They are a lot,” the man let out a smile, “I’ve always wanted a big family. Ah, and you? Do you like it in my world?”

“I love it,” Shun nodded, “It was weird at first, but… Xiong Shun, I have become an idol for you.”

“Really?”

“Yes,” Shun laughed, “Ping Ping and Wen Dong also made it into a group. They are… I think they are together.”

“As in boyfriends?!” The man’s eyes widened, “I… never saw that coming.”

They both laughed and Shun wondered…

“Did you… find a princess? I know my parents are very pushy with that…”

“They weren’t pushy at all,” Xiong Shun smiled, “They were respectable. There are a lot of princesses to chose from and I… am interested… in one.”

“Oh, that is good!”

“And you?”

“Uh… I um…” Shun found his cheeks flushing, “Suu Jin… Ping Ping’s cousin…”

“I know who Suu Jin is, Shun Nottingale,” the man stared at him, “You are… together with him?”

“Yes…”

“Oh.”

“Yeah…”

“Well… I’m sure the world isn’t too happy about that.”

“We… we’ll be coming out in a few days. I love him. I don’t think I could live without him, Xiong Shun. Prince Peter… he is Suu Jin.”

The man’s eyes widened before it softened.

“I understand,” a pause, “Madame Witch said you wanted to stay in my world.”

“Yes, if you agree to stay in mine.”

The man was quiet for awhile with his eyes closed. Shun waited, respecting Xiong Shun’s space.

“You know of my sickness, don’t you?” Xiong Shun questioned.

“The fainting spell? Yes, but I don’t know why?”

“Doctors never could find anything,” the man sighed, “You won’t live long, Shun Nottingale,. I knew when I passed out, that was it for me. So having this chance… It is a miracle, but I can’t have you live with my problems, Shun. You don’t deserve that.”

“It is fine,” Shun smiled, “I was unhappy there, in the kingdom. No one understood me but my big brother. And… I am sure he knew you weren’t me, right?”

“He is perceptive,” the man laughed.

“Then he probably told you about… Prince Peter?”

“Yes.”

“I was a disappointment to them, my parents. I love them, but I know I would never make them happy. Here in your world… I didn’t think I would find love or happiness and I did. Without the thought of your illness, Xiong Shun, would you stay there with my family?”

There was a pause in the silence of the room. A small smile curled on the man’s lips.

“Yes.”

Shun smiled and relaxed his shoulders. The sounds of footsteps entered the light and Prince Peter’s face sighed.

“So, you both want to stay?” They nodded and the old witch with Prince Peter’s body frowned, “Ugh! Fine,” she sighed, “Go on, then.”

Xiong Shun bowed to her and he disappeared, but Shun quickly asked him to care for his family before the man was gone. He waited for the witch to send him back, but he was still there.

“Eh? Witch?”

“That illness,” the witch hummed, “Want a cure?”

“What do you want for it? Wait, are you still going to destroy the world if I don’t make 100% star level?” Shun questioned with a frown.

“Mm, yes.”

“But I won’t be able to complete all tasks. I love Suu Jin. You already know that.”

“Well, fine,” the witch sighed, “It’s getting boring anyways and I am too old to be this patient. For your medicine, I’ll be in touch,” the last thing he saw was the grin on Prince Peter’s face before he felt the lightness of the dark. When he opened his eyes, he saw Jin staring at him.

“Ah Shun?” Jin questioned and he leaned back to press a kiss to the pinkette’s lips.

“I love you,” Shun smiled, “There are a lot of things I should tell you. Maybe we should… tell each other everything. Before we get too attached?”

“Too attached?” Jin chuckled and pulled him closer to him, “Mm, too late, don’t you think?”

“Yeah,” Shun laughed and kissed his lover’s lips, “But there are… things I have to tell you and it will sounds weird… and you might… hate me.”

He finished in a whisper and Jin searched his worried face. Jin kissed his lips, not deep like they normally liked it, but enough to calm his fears. Standing up, Jin warmed up the electric water kettle and Shun didn’t want to be too far from his lover, so he followed. Blanket still around him, he hugged Jin tightly from the back and it earned him a kiss to his forehead. He followed his lover’s steps when the pinkette reached for the tea leaves, the spoon, whatever the idol was doing..

Shun would follow Jin anywhere.

He was a hopeless romantic after all.
