When Heeang send Lisa the text that Shun was alone without Gina, she had invited Suu Jin to join her at the arcade. They bought out the place for a couple hours, hoping to give Jin and Shun time together. Every worker had signed NDAs to make sure not to speak of what was to occur, but…

There was no point anymore.

“Sorry,” Shun whispered and Lisa turned to him and offered a smile.

“Jin is… not well, Ah Shun. Please don’t worry too much. Now, come, Ah Shun, the others are waiting.”

Shun smiled and nodded, but he glanced back to where Jin had left. He felt his heart was also taken away with the idol prince. Then, the strange vision of seeing Prince Peter caught him by surprised but… it was actually Suu Jin who was there. It… made no sense to him.

‘Was it because I was talking to Prince Peter that I thought… I thought Suu Jin was him?’

‘Stupid. You are just seeing things,’ he inwardly slapped his face and sighed.

His face brightened up when he saw his friends waving to him. He would make the best of his time, although it would have been much better if Jin was here.

‘You said you hate him. Of course, he would leave!’ He cried inwardly, ‘Ah Jin! I love you waaahhh!’

“You did what was right, Prince Shun,” Prince Peter’s voice floated in and he shook the voice away.

‘No… I hurt him. That isn’t right. Please just… I just want to enjoy today.’

He smiled and laughed, even participated in a karaoke contest with his friends, but the entire time his heart was elsewhere.

Taemeng had returned to Peony studio to continue working with the 4 trainees his father had. They were improving with Kaiden and his help, but they were still so young. His friend was currently busy helping with Jenell with the mission: Get Them Together, coined by the princess herself.

So, alone to work with the boys, he did his best to lead them. He also spoke with one of the songwriters his father had connection with, so they could work on a song for his trainees. The sound of footsteps descended to his studio, echoing into the space below.

He turned his golden eyes to see the bottom of a short dress and he quickly turned with his cheeks red. Stepping before his trainees who were staring a bit harder than they should, he glared at them and cleared his throat. They quickly turned away and whistled to distract themselves.

“Wow, I didn’t realize there were so many steps,” a female voice laughed softly, “Wished Kaiden would have told me.”

“Star,” Taemeng smiled and walked toward her, “Why are you here?”

“I had time,” she smiled and waved at the young boys, “Kaiden said he felt bad not helping you like he promised, so I volunteered!”

She grinned brilliantly and Taemeng thanks her with his ears tinged with red. He introduced the boys to her and Star lend a song she was working on.

“Don’t worry, Ah Tae,” Star touched his wrist, “I write a lot and I am honored, really, that you like it enough to let your boys sing it. Thank you.”

“You are very nice,” he smiled.

“Thank you, but I only know how to do certain things,” Star laughed, “I am a pretty bad dancer in comparison to my sisters.”

“I can teach you,” the male dancer offered.

“Ah… O… Okay,” the kind idol flushed lightly, and their eyes just stared at one another.

Star really liked Taemeng’s eyes and what a hard worker the dancer was. Kola had been whispering in her ears about all the great assets the dancer had and… she would be lying if she hadn’t… thought of them too. It was hard not too when he would smile at her like that!

“Let’s, uh, after?” Star stuttered red cheeked and big brown eyes.

“Uh… yes,” Taemeng glanced away scratching his warm cheeks. His golden eyes saw his trainees giggling and whispering to themselves. Their eyes were glancing at Star and him. It only made him even more embarrassed.

“Okay, let’s practice the song,” Star spoke up with a smile and they divided up the parts.

The boys practiced and did some dance move as they sang. They were 14-16 in age, but their energy was so high, the adults in the room felt energized by it. Star was laughing, being reminded of when she was younger with her sisters, her group members. She looked over at the golden eyed boy and quickly looked away. Taemeng looked over and watched Star for a moment, before looking away with his heart pounding.

‘Focus. Being emotional will make you unfocused,’ he reminded himself of what his mother once told him.

“How did we do?!” The youngest of the trainees asked and Star thumbed up to them.

“You all did well! Not long now until you guys debut, right Ah Tae?”

She turned to him and the dancer stared at her. She blinked her brown eyes and tucked her short black strands behind her ear, looking shyly from under her bangs. Taemeng’s eyes widened slightly before he stood up quickly to clear his throat.

“Soon. I still need to make sure everything is ready before then. You all have improve. Great work.”

“Thank you senior!” The trainees cheered and the dancer told them to head to the break room to cool off and eat. They followed, but made wiggly brows and kissy faces on their way out. Taemeng looked flabbergasted before fingers touched his bicep.

“Ah Tae… Could you… Um… Teach me now?” Star smiled quietly and the male dancer nodded slowly.

Turning on the music and helping her position herself stronger, Taemeng really… He should tell Star no and for her to leave him alone, but…

‘I… have to talk to Kaiden.’

He repeated to himself each time his sweaty hands touched the female’s body.

For Star, she was doing her best not to look as red as a licorice each time the dancer touched her.

‘Just need to focus.’

‘Just need to focus.’

Shun had a nightmare.

He had not had one in so long, but this one…

It always returned to that day.
