Shun looked at his phone and saw the handsome face. Warm brown eyes watched him and he felt his eyes watering up. Closing his eyes, Shun looked away and tried to calm his trembling heart.

‘Prince Peter, why must this happen? He will hate me now… just like you.’

He thought about his past and he covered his eyes.

[“Prince Shun!” Prince Peter rushed after him, but like all the times when there was a confrontation, he ran. Out of the kingdom and to the fields of golden flowers, the prince chased after him. He did not want to stop. He did not want to see Prince Peter anymore.

“Stop!” Prince Peter shouted, but he continued to run.

Unfortunately, in his run, he tripped over a rock, tumbling forward.

He groaned and tried to get up, but his ankle blossomed in pain. He winced and felt arms wrapped around him. He tried to move away, but the grip tightened.

“Let me help you,” his black haired beauty looked at him and they were so close…

Nodding his head, he turned away and ignored the heat against his body or the way his hand was being held. Shun was helped to sit down and once he did, Prince Peter had embraced him tightly, as if to stop him from running away.

“Ah Shun,” his prince breathed out a sigh, “I apologize. I know I hurt you, but I don’t love her, not like you.”

“That’s too bad. I don’t love you, Prince Peter,” Shun let out a defeated laugh and he face was cupped.

“You are a terrible liar,” Prince Peter stated and Shun grinned so wide, it crinkled his eyes.

“I am going to have a ball on my birthday and I will marry a princess. I really like Princess Aurora. Maybe I love her.”

“What?” Prince Peter’s grip on his face tightened and Shun gathered everything in him to say:

“I bring her here in our spots too, you know. We’ve kissed and touched. You, you are just a friend, perhaps. Nothing more. Don’t come see me again.”

“You do not mean that,” Prince Peter let his face go and the sunset in the sky, filled with beautiful color, did nothing to calm his heart. Forcing a smile, Shun let out a laugh, so grating, he even wanted to slap himself.

“I meant every word.”

“The promise-”

“Is a lie.”

“…”

“…”

Footsteps neared them and Shun looked over to see his eldest brother glancing at the both of them. Standing up, he limped over to his brother, who quickly helped him.

“Goodbye, Prince Peter. May we never see one another again.”

His heart was breaking as his brother helped him back to the kingdom, leaving Prince Peter alone to look at the fields of gold. A place they once loved.]

“I don’t hate you,” Prince Peter spoke gently through the screen of his phone, “Ah Shun… Do not be sad. I forgive you.”

He let out a chuckle and shook his head.

‘You only say that because I am dead and the witch made you say so. Don’t worry, I will complete my mission.’

“Mm, I believe in you, Prince Shun. Always have.”

Shun glanced at his screen and he couldn’t help himself but to love Prince Peter more. Here he was at his worse and the prince, whether it was that damn witch or not, was here with warm brown eyes and a soft smile. He laid on the couch staring at the face of his crush.

‘I loved you… you know.’

“Mm,” the smile stretched, crinkling the pretty brown eyes, “I know.”

‘…’

“It isn’t hard to see, Ah Shun. You were your heart on your sleeves. Ah Shun, I-”

The slammed of the door sounded and Gina stomped over to stare at him, glared at him from under her nose.

“How many people knew of Jin being Jinny?”

Her voice was cold and straight to the point. Shun glared right back.

“Why?”

“I just received a text from that bitch, Lisa,” Gina crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes further, “Tell me, how would someone stupid like her find out the truth?”

Shun didn’t reply.

“Fine. Don’t tell me. It doesn’t matter because in the end, you belong to me.”

Shun wanted to scream back for her to fuck herself, but the thing was…

It was true.

Jin stared at them.

He was woken up by a body squeezing him so tightly, he dreamt a snake had coiled around him. He gasped away, only to find his dear cousin was holding him with worried green eyes. Jin rubbed his face and fell back onto the bed. His emerald eyes looked around the room to see others there, just watching him and he groaned covering his face.

“Ah Jin,” Ping said in his cute tone that only made his headache stronger, “What happened? It was Gina, wasn’t it! I knew it! She is evil! I hate her!”

“Oi, Ah Ping,” Wen Dong went over to cover the boy’s lips, “Suu Jin just woke up. Don’t be too loud,” he whispered.

“Let him go,” Jin glared and pulled his cousin to him and the purple eyed male sighed, letting the little pinkette go.

It was quiet for a moment and Jin sighed.

“What is it?”

“Suu Jin,” Manager Yaotzu crossed his arms, “You broke your promise. If this gets out, you will be found as a hypocrite and dropped from being an ambassador and spokesperson. You will lose fans and your popularity,” he shook his head, “What the hell were you thinking? Don’t you care anymore?”

“I don’t.”

Suu Jin did not hesitate and stared at the ceiling. What was the point anymore for him? He had done everything, everything for everyone! All he wanted was to do something for himself and it backfired again.

“Ah Jin,” Lisa tried softly, “We know you were Jinny. Everyone in this room knows you and Shun…”

“I don’t care.”

He repeated blankly still staring at the ceiling.

The room was quiet and he wondered why Shinny Dolls, the member of Symmony, and his cousin and that fool was here. How did his manager even find him? As his mind drifted, he shook it away as memories of Shun tried to flood his mind. He pushed himself up and reached for a bo-

It was no longer there at the end table.

He sat up, looking around, before his lips scowled.

“Give it to me.”

“No,” his manager stated sternly.

“Give me my beer!”

“Ah Jin,” Ping Ping cried aloud to get his cousin to stop screaming. His heart was pounding and he was panting. It was going to happen again and Jin was going to end up in the hospital and then he would think Jin died and-

“Breathe, baby Ping, breathe,” Wen Dong advised, cupping his face and he did as his good friend told him.

Jin was still fighting, arguing with his manager for alcohol to drown himself in. Jenell was fed up with it, so she stood up sharply, walked straight to the pinkette, and slapped him across the face.

Silence.

“Enough!”
