"Jay, your wife is pregnant with your child. Can you stop gossiping about others and instead take care of your wife?" Charles spoke, puffing the last smoke before putting out the cigarette.

"Of course! My wife is my baby now!" With a smile, Jay ran to Doris and said, "Honey, you didn't drink, did you?"

"I did. So what?" With brows knitted, Doris acted coquettishly.

"Well, it's good to drink some. Ha-ha!" As soon as he heard what Doris said, he immediately held her. Now that he understood her personality better, Jay was more confident in dealing with her.

If he were not to piss her off, then the two could get by in a day without fighting like cats and dogs.

"Nancy, we are leaving now." Doris rolled down the window and expressed.

"Alright, take care." Smiling, Nancy waved her hand.

Then without saying anything further, Jay drove away.

"Honey, shall we go home too?" Charles suddenly asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Why didn't you stay at home with the children? Why are you here?" Nancy couldn’t help smiling as she felt his embrace on her.

"Well, I'm also afraid that my wife will be taken away from me, so I came here," Charles responded with a smile and opened the front seat door.

"You've learned a lot from Jay, huh." Nancy got in, still wearing a grin while fastening her seatbelt.

"Yes, as long as my wife likes it." With those flirtatious words, Charles went around the car and settled himself on the driver’s seat.

All of a sudden, Nancy sa

ill held on him although her arm had gotten so numb.

She bit her lips tightly, hoping that she could somehow forget about the seething pain.

Fortunately, Charles held Boyd in his arms, and with his Herculean strength, he lifted him back up.

And when he was finally safe on the rooftop, Nancy breathed a sigh of relief.

"Take Boyd away," Nancy said weakly, looking at Charles, who was still outside the guardrail.

Without Boyd’s weight, Charles jumped over the guardrail easily.

Nancy, who was more than nervous to see Charles on the edge of the building, sat on the ground, finally relieved that he was safe too.

Charles bent over and pulled her up. "Are you all right?"

Nodding, she flashed him a reassuring smile, although the throbbing pain was building up.

But then, when Charles’ palm brushed against her skin, he pounced upon something wet. Lowering his head, he saw blood dripping from Nancy's arm.

"Are you hurt?" He immediately held up her arm to check.

"Ouch, it hurts! I think I dislocated my arm." She winced while informing him.

"I'll carry you to the ward." Then, he hurriedly carried her on his back.

"Do you need a doctor?" Charles asked as soon as they arrived at the ward.

With sweat all over her face, Nancy uttered in pain, "No, I can do it myself."

"No, No! I can’t let you do that, Director. I'm here!" Suddenly, Anna barged in uninvitingly, wearing a smile on her lips.

‘What is she doing here?’ Nancy wondered at the unexpected sight of her.
