In the end, Luke indeed found an item that could empower Tame, but not in the way he wanted. It just increased the level of the skill by two and it was a whip… a weapon that he wasn't used to using. Not to mention, the whip costs fifty-two thousand coins, and the bonus attributes weren't that amazing. Still, Luke found something else.

Necromancer's Staff

It grants you the power to convert a corpse into a skeleton that can fight for you. You can choose between skeleton knight, skeleton archer, and skeleton wizard.

INT + 20, Necromancy Lv 03

Durability: 30/30

Luke didn't find any skill called necromancy in the shop, so it was at the very least, a tier ten skill. Even though the staff cost 52 thousand gold coins. It granted only the skill at level three and apparently, each use would consume a corpse and two hundred of MP. It was hard to tell if it would be worth the hassle. That being said, Luke brought the staff.

"Necromancy… I don't like that," Rina said.

"Even if it is to help protect your world?" Luke asked.

"It also looks like a weakling would use, it doesn't suit you, Luke," Shalia said.

"Let's say that I am not that strong mentally…" Luke frowned.

It was rare to find something that those two disliked. Maybe it was because that skill reminded them of what their friends would become if their bodies were left unchecked. As for Luke, it was tragic that something would happen to the fallen, but if that was something they could use against their enemies, why not use it?

The group was currently resting in one of the numerous frozen groves, it was a place that they had to free from the clutches of some trolls, so there were enough corpses around for Luke to use. Although he did so without any hesitation, he regretted a little since he was too close to the body and the body exploded before the skeleton knight emerged. Naturally, a lot of blood and guts fell on him.

It was weak… Luke didn't imagine the level of power, but he didn't think it would be only level thirty. Still, considering that it belonged to one skill and the skill could increase its rarity rank, then it made sense… On the most ordinary rank, the skeletons could reach level one hundred, if the skill were at level ten and for more than that…

"You seem speechless… were you expecting more than this?" Rina asked.

"I guess I got ahead of myself," Luke said. "Well, having low-level skellies is better than having nothing."

Luke used other corpses and checked their status. The skeleton archer had more SP and he could use it to make arrows fly for up to two hundred meters. The skeleton wizard had more MP and they could use Fireball and Ice Arrow. They weren't half bad, but it would take ten of those to take a single level one hundred monster. And considering that the monsters in that world were over 150…

Regardless, the skeletons could receive some complicated orders, but not many at the same time. After doing some tests, Luke confirmed that the skeleton wizards could even take down the trolls, but twenty of them had to be aligned and they had to fire three Fireballs each…

"I guess this is enough, they will be useful," Luke said.

Luke made forty of those appear using the corpses of the trolls and then he ordered them to guard the grove while they slept. The next day, Luke felt pretty important while being followed by a group of skellies. Every enemy defeated joined the army, but then Luke realized that they were leaving quite the trail behind. For the time being, the snow would get rid of the trail in a couple of hours, but that won't happen if he keeps increasing them.

"I got it," Luke said after he had an idea.

Leaving the corpses behind would be a waste, so Luke transformed all of them anyway. However, whenever he found a grove or any place similar that he could hide the skellies, he would leave thirty of them behind and he gave them the order to attack all monsters that approached. It didn't take long for Luke to realize that his plan was working…

You obtained 180 experience points.

You obtained 180 gold coins.

You obtained 180 experience points.

You obtained 180 gold coins.

Since no one was helping, Luke was getting all the experience and coins and at that rate, the skellies will make him recover all the coins invested.

"You are showing a creepy smile…" Rina frowned.

"Well, my bad, but it can't be helped since this is very useful," Luke said.

"We are close to another hideout, so try to calm down a bit," Rina said.

Luke couldn't see anything ahead, aside from the fact that the ground seemed a bit deeper than usual… it was one hell of a large depression, but then Luke realized that it was a frozen lake. In the middle of the lake, there was a hill and they were heading toward it.

"It doesn't look like something enemies would miss," Luke said.

"Only if the people using it leave during the day, which they don't do," Rina explained. "There are no signs of monsters around, so I would say that the hideout is working very well."

Hopefully, things will end well this time.. According to Rina, they had to check fifteen places in that region and they couldn't keep wasting time finding dead ends… or in this case, an empty hideout.
