When the promised hour passed, Luke turned around and used Appraisal on everyone. Chloe, Royce, and Abby leveled two times more, and the others leveled up four. While himself only leveled up only once, even though he was doing most of the work. Still, that was a lot of experience, considering how much he needed to level up. Fortunately, Appraisal also leveled up once, and so he obtained 10 status points during that hour.

As for equipment, the monsters dropped an ordinary crossbow with no effects, a shield, two axes, and two swords. In the end, Rina's plan didn't work that well… Still, Luke gave the items to the newcomers to increase their power and chances of survival.

"You two with the shields, your job is to prevent the backline from getting hurt," Chloe said. "We will cause more damage by letting them focus on attacking nonstop."

"The others should split into groups of three and focus on fighting one enemy at a time if they pass the frontline," Royce added. "Keep your potions ready since we don't know if we will have the time to help."

At least they managed to come up with a decent formation. Still, it will only work if Luke and Chloe don't let too many monsters pass by them. At the start of the battle, the monsters will probably focus on them, but once they realize that Luke won't go down that easily, then they will aim for the others.

"Are you guys ready?" Luke asked.

Everyone nodded despite the tension in their eyes. Luke nodded as well, and then he took a deep breath to calm down because he would be the one who would be at risk in the beginning. Once his mind and heart were ready, Luke used Dash and ran toward the crystal.

After a couple of seconds, Luke found a barrier of monsters blocking his path ahead. It was the same as the one he had seen earlier, so that didn't surprise him. What surprised him was the fact that the monsters didn't move an inch to intercept him. Instead of that, they opened their mouths to use the Flamethrower. Luke didn't know if their instincts warned them to do the same thing or if their boss was the one who ordered that. it didn't matter… Luke didn't think twice about jumping with all his might while Dash still was active. That is to that, he reached in a single moment, ten meters of height. However, he began to fall right when he passed above the Red Fangs. The creatures used Flamethrower, but then he used Stinger to move away from their reach.

The skill worked, and Luke left behind those monsters, and when he landed, he increased his speed and soon found the crystal ahead. However, before he could destroy the crystal, he heard the sound of all Red Fangs roaming. When that happened, he began to hear footsteps coming from all directions.

"Shit…" Luke hurried and used Stinger Level four to attack the crystal.

That made him use more SP than he had expected, but at least he arrived on the crystal before the monsters of the other directions could block his path. Still, they soon came up… when Luke turned around. He saw the group that he had avoided dashing toward him like mad dogs. However, Luke also ran toward them while ignoring the danger. When the beasts leaped to attack him, he paralyzed some with Spark Ball and used Stinger to instantly approach them. Aside from the targets, some other monsters suffered damage due to the sparks, but they only slowed down a little bit. Nevertheless, that allowed Luke to use one of them as a stepping foot and then completely leave all of the others behind.

When the monsters realized what had happened, Luke already was dozens of meters away from them. He increased the distance between them while they were turning around, but that wouldn't be enough since the other groups of monsters were already fast approaching.

Shalia began to freeze the ground around with her ice magic, and that worked on making the monsters slip. They were too enraged to care about the obvious traps.

"This is going to be fun…" Shalia smirked.

In the worst-case scenario, Chloe said that they would fight while kitting. That means to fight while retreating, and that had been a good choice because when she and the others saw the numerous monsters chasing Luke, they knew that they shouldn't stay in a single place.

Luke immediately turned around and prepared his Frozen Claymore when he found them. The other one wouldn't be that useful since the Red Fangs had high Resistance against fire.

"Rina!" Luke said.

"All right," Rina said and then buffed Luke's strength.

Luke used Stinger, and then his sword pierced the head of one of the monsters. Two others immediately stopped moving and opened their mouths toward him, but Luke used Stinger again and then swung his sword to the left side with all his might. With that, his weapon completely pierces the heads of the two.

Another group of three dashed toward him and used Body Slam. However, Luke stopped then with the blade of his weapon. The beasts suffered some damage, but Luke quickly finished them off with another full vertical swing.

While Luke finished six monsters in a matter of seconds, the others didn't even have the chance to fight… they had. They could have attacked with the crossbows. Still, their mouths were hanging open due to the surprise. Luke was unbelievably strong…

When more than three monsters tried to attack him, Arcanine came to the rescue and used Body Slam on them. Upon noticing that Luke would be hard to kill, some of the monsters began to ignore him and headed toward Chloe. However, they were hit by something that came from Luke, and that froze their heads for a moment. Chloe didn't let that chance go and kicked the monster's head with all her might, making it crack like glass.
