Chapter 262 - III Max-level Origin

"It looks like the playing is over." Edward unleashed three pairs of dark-feathered wings advanced towards Elijah was wasn't a little bit scared.

"You know, I have seen this coming miles away." He bends his head to the left while filling his hand with Hallow Shadow Origins and smashing it on the ground.

Bang! A dense, black-Colored miasma spread throughout the area. These types of low-grade origins were pretty unstable, and when the unstable pocket laws stored in the origin are unleashed then boom! A wave of uncontrollable energy would spread, weak, but a good way to distract others.

Whoosh! The mirrored-Edward spread his wings as well and rushed to block Edward's move. Pang! Both hands clashed in midair as the pressure in the area arose. They were evenly matched in every aspect.

Ta!Ta!Ta! Pure black aura gathered at the Mirrored-Edward as he attacked repeatedly, Edward body also exploded with deep blue lightning as thunder clouds formed in the sky. Thunder and wind clashed as all the beasts fighting next to them were blown away by the sudden.

"Having me fight a mirrored image of myself, how original." His red pupils changed into a cold blue. In that instant, the whole area of battle that insane heat turned into freezing cold ice storm. He noticed something at that moment, even the nearly perfect copy Elijah made moves way slower in this ice storm.

"You may have made a very good copy, I will give you that. But don't you think you're forgetting something?" Edward removed the glove on his left hand, and a snow-white rune with the size of a soybean appeared on the back of his hand.

"Supreme Origin!?" Elijah gasped in surprise, then he realized other than being really similar. The rune's size didn't seem right, it was much smaller than it was supposed to be, its potential seemed to be a few levels lower too.

"Oh, I see." He seemed to have thought of an answer. "Other realities weren't supposed to have supreme origins, even the ones in the Old Elijah's world were nothing more than an unfinished product and lacked the finesse and polishing."

Then only one answer was possible. "Max-level Origin?"

Until now what Edward showed was the power stolen from others. Yet, this one wasn't something he took from others. The Origin Civilization may be different in other realities, but he knew that there were at least three thousand origins.

To make his mistake as a supreme origin, only an origin upgraded to the highest level could reach this level. However, it wasn't like he only had one, who knows how many max-levels origins he had.

His mind wandered the spatial pocket inside his phone searching for anything he could use. The many prototypes of artifacts and weapons he made were there as well as many low, medium and high grade origins.

As the two Edwards fought, even the specs of sand turned into solid ice. And the mirrored Edward had to take a defensive posture as he transformed into a body made of thunder and lightning in order to increase his speed, but this battle didn't look well for him.

It was obvious which of them had the upper hand, Elijah worked hard to capture the exact same image, powers to the utmost realism, but it seems that max-level origin of his is no joke.

"I must find which type of origin is his." There were many types of origins, he wasn't sure which one was this. It could emit an ice-cold air, freeze particles from far away and even slowly invade other's muscles, freezing them from inside. These few characteristics decreased the number of possibilities to either Superpower-type, Energy-type and element-type.

Ahh! If I could just detect and sense the energy as before. Elijah felt depressed, he wasn't in a state where he could see if this cold was brought by a special cold energy or purely a superpower that could convert heat into cold, or just the power extract the elements like removing all the heat from a human body make him freeze instantly. Even so, some of these would have many different paths of evolution.

He grabbed pretty simple-looking glove with a simple socket made of star silver on the center of the palm. Because of his perfect merge with a supreme origin, he couldn't merge with any other origin. However, like the time he sealed his cultivation and had to fight with a small bracelet with magical crystals. Now, he prepared something very similar to that.

He took a three-colored feather, made a few hand seals and the feather slowly molten into a shiny, exquisite three-colored jewel.

"I got this origin from a beast I just, I made a few changes when I made this little thing." He inserted the jewel in the socket. The entire glove was starting to shine, then countless lines spread from the grove towards his back before turning into a pair of three-colored feathered-wings. Each feather shining in the colors red, purple and pink.

With this pair of wings, Elijah left a trail of light as he went to assist his time shadow. The leftover origins, he threw it into his phone and Chloe's hammer.

Inside his myriad shapes smartphone, several dozen Void Origins appeared out of nowhere while Misty and the other fairies were playing Un* with the old man and little rabbit.

"Destiny, I need your help!" Elijah's yell sounded in that space so suddenly that Stormy and Aura both yelled in unison, "Ahhh!"

"Use the energies inside these origins to cast the biggest spatial lock in your life, did you hear?" Destiny heard the call of her master and her form appeared in the outside world. Because of how many origins, he gave her, she was fully recovered. She even had her physical body back.

However, Edward wasn't stupid. Seeing the distortion in space, he was preparing to unleash an even greater power when something he didn't expect to happen.

The area around him slightly distorted when Elijah decided to burn his nearly empty Lifeforce once again, this time burning full six months of his life leaving exactly one year. Edwards was frozen in time, his eyes fixed on Elijah giving enough time for Destiny to complete her spatial lock.

"Chloe, now!"

His hammer transformed into his true form, dark green flames burned on top of it as Elijah rushed forward. The prime beasts on Edward's command realized what Elijah was doing and abandoned their fight to follow after Elijah to stop him, but didn't work and Elijah's fully awaken Chloe's Heart hit right in the head. The prime beasts howled, shrieked as they started to vanish one by one like in Infinity War.

Then Edward's eyes that were about to lose their light lit once more as he grabbed Elijah by the arm.
