Chapter 172 IX Change in Mindse

In less than a minute, Elijah returned while holding a couple dozen or so bodies covered with lightning marks. Leaving the bodies on the ground, he spoke: "See, This is spies I found in your city."

When all  the bodies  fell on the ground, some of them even turned into purple-reddish dust while others had a lingering purple-red aura. In fact, there was more than a hundred of those spies hiding in the corners of the city which were all dead and while these man he brought here were the ones surrounding the city with the power of the Mortal King Realm. They only had time to see a flash of lightning cracking within the clouds before ending their lives apart instantly.

Witnessing all of this, the people from the Sword Tribe all gasped at the same time. No one knew the origins of this young man with golden hair, they just stared  at him like he was some sort of monster. By the creators! How strong is this man? How he did all of that while none of them could see what exactly he did, even when they were standing close to him.

It was even  more frightening the fact  that no one had the chance to say a word before this man killed them, but this didn't mean those man and demons were weak, it was this man who was too strong.

The mouths of the City Lord's daughters were wide open while staring at him with bright eyes. They were completely stunned  by the sudden change where a young man would appear like a deity and save them from their ugly fate. All the girls kneeled down and spoke with a hint of adoration in their eyes.

"Oh great lord, thank you for saving our lives!" In a short amount of  time, this figure whose name and past was unknown to them had left a deep mark in their hearts.

"There is no need to kneel, stand up."

Elijah casually said while waving his hand unleashing a gentle wind from his body that lifted  all the girls up while thin green flames hidden within the wind healed her wounds. He could not reveal many of his secrets, but giving a helping hand would give him the  image of a benevolent figure which would not be bad to have.

"Why I don't seem to feel bad no matter what I do?" Elijah asked himself about a thin question that he had in his heart. From some time ago, he started feeling that his emotions had been fading to the point he won't care so much even if his planet was destroyed. In the many stories he read as a child, when a being surpassed all the other,s he would turn cold and indifferent about everything as it was all below him. This was the same principle as to why humans should care about ants.

In truth, every living creature beside the gods start as mortals, but even ants can cultivate to become a divine beast. So why the humans don't care about the ants? It is because they are inferior beings, why should you care or feel pity about inferior beings, only inferior humans would care about inferior beings.

When he touched  that man before and saw his memories, Elijah realizes that all tribes on this floor, or perhaps all towers in this separate dimension were made him. Those beings who believe to have free will were created by the same person to be used as chess pieces by those who defy the towers.

Only a sick person would do all of  this, but then he thought to himself. It was not this what all gods and celestial beings thought of the mortals? Perhaps this is also why the heart of the universe, with its newfound intellect, has decided to wipe out most celestials and the most advanced mortal beings from time to time. The moment he realized this, a sudden change took place in his mindset.

Before anyone could speak, the laws of heaven formed huge clouds that covered the entire muddy swamp and  even spread outside, above the earth tower and continued before it spread over to earth and then the entire Solar System.

If Elijah was not inside the earth tower which was created by a transcendent being and suppressed most of the laws to not spread too much, at least three to four galaxies would have been swallowed if not more.

"Master, what it's happening on earth. Do you know who could call a tribulation of this level?!" In the center of the Ancestral Spirit Cosmic Realm, a level 12 spirit ran through space in panic before a ethereal image appeared before it.

"I know, it is that 'human' from the parallel chaotic space. I feel he has been struck in the same stage for a long time without any advances, but that human has gained a new insight when he realized something that he must've know for a long time but couldn't bring himself to accept it and now his mindset has evolved. He is in the middle of his breakthrough while those clouds were the tribulation summoned by his path. The tier of his path is so big that surprises even myself. If that transcendent hadn't created that place, then those clouds would expand until it covered this entire Cosmic Realm."

"Then what should we do?" Asked the spirit.

"Await. I can feel  it would not take too long  before this old emperor becomes a transcendent, only thirty-thousand years or so."

"Good, then I will await the day master transcend the laws."

.....

As the  clouds expanded, it changed  into numerous colours. Yawen, who was resting on a bed, noticed the disturbance around her and stepped away from the tent, seeing the endless clouds in the sky with the same aura as  Elijah. She knew something was happening.

"Celestial Tribulation? No, it is different. I can feel the it has the aura of the three paths.... It's a Tri-Disaster!" Since the beginning, Yawen knew that cultivating a path that involves the three paths, body, soul and energy would surely attract the most powerful tribulations that exist, but this was only supposed to happen when he reached the level of a celestial not now.

From the many types of tribulation that can happen, the Tri-Disaster is one of the worst. The cultivator will have to survive under three Celestial Tribulations at the same time, one for the body, one for the soul and one for the energy. The only problem was that those three together would be countless times more powerful than any of them alone.

She was really worried but before she could locate him, the pressure of the ground grew by an entire level, blurring her vision.

"Elijah! I need to stay awake, he needs me..." Calling Elijah's name, Yawen collapsed on the ground. At the same time, all the beings from the foggy marsh to earth and even the entire Solar System felt their visions blurring before all they could see was darkness.
