Chapter 318 - Plotting Against A Dragon

Chapter 318 Plotting Against A Dragon

Again, standing on the edge of the cliff, looking at the over one-kilometer wide clouds, Qin Hao recalled Little Dragon's words.

"If you have a bridge in your heart, there will be a bridge; if you don't, there won't be."

What nonsense. Of course, I wanted a bridge. It was not even how the solving of riddles went.

"Master, you have to understand. To understand with your heart. Maybe two or three days later the bridge will appear with your understanding." Little Dragon reminded in the sky.

Qin Hao rolled his eyes. What a damn understanding! Two or three days? I would give it a try if it were two or three hours. I had no patience with a few days.

However, if not in its way, what should I do to get across?

Qin Hao stroked his jaw while looking up at the Little Dragon in the sky. He rolled his eyes. Soon, a sly smile appeared on his face but instantly disappeared.

"Well, Little Dragon, uh, haven’t you said that I’m your master? Now your master has troubles. You should help me."

The Little Dragon in the sky heard his words and shook its head, "Master, I can help you in doing anything except for this one."

"Take it easy. I won’t bother you much." Qin Hao wore a gentle and affable smile. He looked at the Little Dragon like a seventy-or-eighty-year-old man looking at his beloved grandchild, making Little Dragon feel a little creepy.

"Master, I can’t do this for you, really." Little Dragon showed instantly its standing. A more genial and affable smile would not work.

"It’s not a big deal. You called me master, but you turned down without hearing what I was going to say. This is called duplicity. You just don’t regard me as your master." Qin Hao pretended to be unhappy, "I just want you to come to me."

"Come to you? For what?" Little Dragon was confused.

"For I just understood something, the... Well, understanding can’t be told but be perceived. Anyway, it’s related to you."

"Related to me? What relation it could have with me? I have received so many masters but none of them said their understanding was related to me."

"The understanding of martial cultivation is highly varied among different people. The same thing for different people will generate a different understanding."

"Well, that, that's right."

"Since it’s right. Then come down now. You just need to let me sense your breath. In no more than an hour I will understand, and a bridge will appear."

Little Dragon hesitated for quite a while and did not come down, almost driving Qin Hao mad and to curse.

"Hey, this is so simple. Why are you still hesitating?"

Little Dragon had its head tilted with its big green eyes looking at Qin Hao. This was simple for sure. But it just sensed something unusual.

"Hey, you come down or not? I’ll go if you don't. I’ll keep cultivating till all the Spirit Qi inside ran out."

Qin Hao showed his ace and said in a threatening tone.

Spirit Qi was essential to the existence of this place. Or, every living thing here would perish. It would be a dead place. This was the home to Little Dragon. It wouldn’t let it happen.

"Alright, master. I will come down and stay with you."

Little Dragon finally compromised and flew down from the sky and landed next to Qin Hao.

"Master, is that ok?" Little Dragon asked.

Qin Hao wore a sly smile, "Hah hah, of course." Words done, he jumped up, pressed his legs and rode on the back of the dragon.

Little Dragon immediately realized and shouted with anger, "What are you doing, master? Get down!" While it was struggling to rebel and shake Qin Hao down, it acted a bit slower. “Splash!" A few silver needles were inserted into a certain acupoint in its head.

"How dare you! I’ll kill you!" Little Dragon was irritated and was about to fly into a rage.

"Splash..."

Qin Hao was as fast as the wind. At a lightening-like speed, countless silver needles were inserted into the dragon's brain. After Little Dragon, which was about to rebel, struggled for a while, it stopped moving and entered a sluggish state, in which it could be controlled by anyone.

Qin Hao's trick was highly effective in controlling humans. So, he decided to risk controlling a dragon in this way. It did work. He was really audacious. Had he failed and irritated the dragon, he would have had a tragic end.

"Damn, it’s done."

Qin Hao wiped the sweat on his forehead. Damn, it was not easy to ride on a dragon for the first time. After that, he smirked again complacently.

"I did not expect that I can ride on a dragon someday. Riding on a dragon! Hah hah. It’s super cool. Trot trot trot..." Qin Hao rode on the dragon the way riding a horse, which was really an insult to the noble and saint dragon.

However, the dragon could do nothing but be controlled by “some” bastard.

Little Dragon waved its tail and flew towards the other side of the cliff as Qin Hao ordered.

Sitting on the back of the dragon, going through the clouds and appreciating the beautiful scenery, Qin Hao was so pleased.

In a few minutes, Little Dragon travelled the distance of more than one kilometer.

"Lead me to the soul fragment of your former master." Reaching the end of the cliff, Qin Hao did not want to walk on foot. He ordered the Little Dragon to carry him there.

Little Dragon followed unconsciously and flew towards the sea of clouds ahead.

After going through the sea of clouds, Qin Hao saw a tranquil scene before him: bridges, streams, peach blossoms and a cabin surrounded by them.

When he was there, he got off the dragon and stood before the peach grove.

Standing there, he felt a sense of heaviness, primitive simplicity and authority, which made him, a dauntless man, fearful of any irreverent behavior.

"Come in, young man."

After he stood there for quite a while, a far and heavenly voice spread from the cabin in the peach grove.

Qin Hao was astounded for a while and then walked cautiously in the peach grove and towards the cabin.

“Squeak." When Qin Hao stood before the cabin, the door opened automatically. As it opened, numerous peach blossoms flew into the room as if they had been ordered. They flew like colorful butterflies in the sky.

The flying butterflies passed by, giving off a pleasant aroma.

Qin Hao was surrounded by the flying blossoms and walked into the cabin step by step.

In the cabin, there was nothing but flying blossoms. They kept flying and did not fall to the ground.

Gradually, Qin Hao found with surprise that the blossoms were forming a portrait in a regulated orbit, a human's portrait.

It was firstly the head, then the body, hand, feet and finally a whole person. A human formed by blossoms appeared in the midair before Qin Hao.

Every blossom was still flying so that the man could float in the air.

Qin Hao looked at the blossom person. It was not a real person but yet he could tell it was a man, a tall man.

Such a man should be like a puppet. But he had the human's breath, which implied authority and vicissitude.

"Young man, you are the most audacious and abnormal but yet the weakest and youngest one among all successors." The blossom person said. The extraordinary nature of Qin Hao could be told from these "most" words.

"Uh." Qin Hao scratched his backhead awkwardly, "Senior, excuse me. I just wanted to save time. Moreover, you did not regulate how I should reach here, right? You just let me understand. I don't know what others have understood. All I understood is this method."

"Hah hah..." The blossom person laughed out loudly, "You are unique. No wonder you are so young."

"By giving Livid Dragon Cauldron to you, I believe the renaissance of Medicine Sect is coming."

"Wait, senior. You just said that I’m the weakest one. So, you'd better not be so confident about me." Qin Hao made it clear. He had not even made the decision of joining the Medicine Sect, let alone leading the renaissance stuff.

"You are the weakest successor for sure. Those once weakest successors were in Saint Stage. But they were then over a hundred years old. And you are, according to my judgment, less than twenty. At such an age, you’ve already in the middle period of Void Stage and have even understood the artistic conception of Immortal Stage. In a few thousand years, nobody will surmount you. When you’re over one hundred years old, I'm afraid you will not even care about a Divine Stage expert."

Qin Hao scratched his head, "Senior, isn't the Divine Stage the supreme stage in Ancient Martial World? Is there any stage above that?"

"Divine Stage? It will be nothing if you reach that stage."

"That stage? What is it then?"

"You will know if you reach that stage. Ok, I don't have much time and I can’t talk to you so much. Now answer me cautiously. Are you willing to join the Medicine Sect and shoulder the renaissance of Medicine Sect as your own duty?"

Qin Hao hesitated and did not respond for long.

"It seems that you are not that willing to join the Medicine Sect." The blossom person sighed in a piteous feeling.

"Senior, it isn’t that I don't want to join the Medicine Sect. My father used to be a member of Medicine Sect. So, I’m also half of a member of Medicine Sect. It’s just that people of Medicine Sect are quite disappointing. I don't know if you’re clear about what recently happened." Actually, Qin Hao was a little discontent with what the Medicine Sect had done. Think about what a great contribution had been made by Ye Tianping. Yet he had been trapped in the water prison. Ye Siyu had also been forced to marry Jin Yang. All of these made Qin Hao angry.

What was more disappointing was the internal conflict of the sect. The most powerful figure Gu Hong had been plotted against and disabled. What shameless and incapable people they were! If other sects had a top expert, they would worship him with respect, wishing he would support the whole sect. What Medicine Sect had done was like disarming itself.

"Alas..." The blossom person was full of sorrow, "That is why Medicine Sect needs a strong leader. What a pity! It has been hundreds of years. I’ve also waited here for centuries. That leader hasn’t appeared till you-the young man to whom I’ve placed much hope. That's why I wish you to join the Medicine Sect and lead the renaissance. That will be quite a relief to your father's soul in heaven. How about it?"

"Phew...!" Qin Hao took a big breath and smiled bitterly, "Senior, since I have entered here, I’m afraid I have to say yes. Ok, I will say no more. I agree to join the sect at least for my father. I promise to lead the renaissance. However, you should give me something good. Or, I, with such a cultivation base, will die in the face of some high-level experts, let alone to lead the renaissance." Since he had to shoulder the great mission of Medicine Sect, he, of course, would like to seek some advantages.

"Hah hah, you are so pragmatic. No worry. Trust me. You will not regret to take the missions of Medicine Sect. Now, I will first improve your strength."
