“What?” Vivian looked at Adams in confusion, wondering why he became so agitated.

Adams had no time to explain now. He dragged Vivian down the mountain with him.

The fruit trees at the foot of the mountain were all bare. There was no point in picking them. Besides, Adams had already harvested quite a lot.

Almost all the fruits on half the mountain were already stored in Adams’ quantum ring. He had used up three of the ten-by-ten-meter compartments, with space to spare.

Right now, what worried Adams the most was that the Evil Blood Spring where the marker was, would be taken by someone else before him. By then, even if he could find other locations, he would have wasted even more time for nothing.

After leaving the Fruit Tree Mountain, Adams led Vivian towards the Evil Blood Spring. Only when the sun was about to set did the two of them finally enter a valley.

“Sl-slow down. I really can’t keep up.” Vivian clutched Adams’ arm tightly for fear that he would start running again if she said the wrong thing.

Adams and Vivian searched for cover along the way. Carefully surveying their surroundings, Adams whispered in a low voice, “There’s no need to run anymore. We’re already here, but we have to be careful of the Wanderers you mentioned. They might be here too!”

Vivian hurriedly covered her mouth upon hearing this. As an aristocratic lady, all the stories she had heard about wanderers since she was young were all about their vile acts such as arson, kidnapping, and bullying women.

Now that she knew that she was in the same valley as Wanderers, Vivian couldn’t help but feel scared.

As they walked through the entrance of the valley into the interior, Adams and Vivian’s field of vision gradually widened. At the same time, a huge circular metal object appeared before them.

“F*ck, what is this?” Adams exclaimed in surprise. He had only seen something like that in science-fiction movies.

Vivian’s face darkened and she said, “This is the Wanderers’ spacecraft! Usually, the spacecraft they fly are those that have been retired from the military or some large family clan. They’re not very safe, but these outlaws don’t care about safety at all. They will even load more magic weapons on the spacecraft to increase the spacecraft’s offensive capabilities!”

“In other words, they are really here?!” Adams exclaimed anxiously.

When Vivian heard that it had something to do with Adams’ missions, she stopped asking. No matter how scared she was, she would advance and retreat with Adams.

Adams was deeply moved by Vivian’s decisiveness. He then took out a magic scroll from his quantum ring and placed it in Vivian’s hand.

Vivian looked at the scroll in her hand and said, “The scroll you gave me last time is still with me. I don’t need you to give me another… Eh? What scroll is this?”

Vivian had seen all the C-rank lightning spell scrolls and B-rank Pyroblast scrolls that Adams had taken out previously. Although they were made with the highest-rank spell crystals, they still looked like ordinary scrolls on the surface. However, the scroll in her hand was glowing with a dark purple light, making it look even more advanced!

“Death Ray Encirclement, an A-rank magic scroll. I think it’s more reliable as a form of self-defense!” Adams said calmly.

“Th-this is such a waste!” Vivian stammered.

If she remembered correctly, A-rank spells required at least a level-five Mage to create the divine spell. It could easily destroy cultivators below level four.

Vivian gulped numbly. She suddenly felt that the wanderers weren’t as terrifying as before. In comparison, Adams was the more powerful and terrifying one. As such, she puffed up her chest and confidently said to Adams, “I’m not going to help you save money! Let’s go in and take a look!”

“Alright!” Adams responded and stepped onto the spacecraft first.
