Chapter 14 - Welcome to

[Soulscape]

There are three souls in a soulscape, taking a good look at the landscape. They were the souls from another world, and their power are out of this world.

Bahamut, Laplace, and Od von Arin were taking their time in this soulscape, but it also serves as another way to escape reality.

As they were waiting, one of them got bored and decided to take a nap. Laplace was its name, a dragon who specializes in magic and is considered a demon entity due to how powerful his magic is.

One of them, decided to fly in the sky and landed on a high mountainous area and took a rest in there. It cannot be mistaken, the platinum scales it has proves his existence, Bahamut.

One waited patiently under the shade of a tree, looking at a kingdom in the far distance that is only a memory of a soul that lived since the Age of Gods until he met the King, Od von Arin.

The demon dragon once said, "The only thing that you can fear, is yourself. Then, become one with that fear and become stronger."

The king of the dragons once said, "After you gather enough knowledge and wisdom, is only then you can become better and stronger."

The ancient soul once said, "Beware of fate, once provoked, it will turn your life upside-down. But those who thrived to change theirs, wins in a battle of trickery."

After sent out the soul, their host, back to his body and revived him, they started going to where they are now. But only after a moment later, a light appeared and dimmed until it revealed a human.

Laplace, who was taking a nap, woke up upon arrival of a person and said sarcastically, "Well, that didn't take too long."

"Well, I've expected this to happen. Anyway, what do you want to know?"

Silver spoke, "The big mystery is how you guys are in me."

Od smiled and said, "Aside from him placing us into you to help you when you needed it, we are also connected to you in some way."

"Please, explain."

"Before that, I want to say this: Welcome to Soulscape! Which also serves as your, our, reality marble if you managed to use it. Sadly, you can't project us outside using reality marble as of you are now, much less your reality marble itself."

"My reality marble..." Silver looked at Od, who similarly looked like him.

"You are thinking why I similarly looked like you. Here, let me tell you: I am residing within you your whole life before reincarnating in this world where there is a city and a tower that was used as a lid of the dungeon."

"Linked Souls?"

"Yes. We are Linked Souls, souls that are compatible and are chosen. I will tell you bits of information: born in the age of the gods, a member of the Argonauts, a loyal knight of the King, and the other half."

"When you said 'King', it oddly sounds familiar the way you pronounced it." Silver squinted his eyes at Od.

"Whatever you say." Od only smiled.

Now that Silver took a good look at Od, he looked like he was around in his mid-20s, clean of facial hair, wears a blindfold, all clothes are darker shades of blue, and holding a spear made of metals unknown for Silver. The spear's side of of the blade, there are many times he doesn't recognized, but he felt familiar with those. Now only the side of the blade had runes, but also the handle.

Od noticed his stare at his spear, "You probably know the spear, but doesn't know how it exactly looked like. This spear here, is Declaration of the Great God Gungnir."

"!?"

"Well, this weapon wasn't a Noble Phantasm when it broke Gram, and Archer Emiya said that Gae Bolg: Striking Death Flight exceeded the original Gungnir. It was now Noble Phantasm, making it stronger than before, and much more stronger after it was now enchanted with runes and got repaired after the second clash with newly repaired and upgraded Gram."

Silver didn't say anything.

"And now, it only existed here in mindscape. But..."

"But I can recreate it in this world, isn't it?"

"Yes. This world has all the necessary materials for Gungnir, and with the Blacksmith ability thingy, you can add a strong effect on it. Adding a Durandal property on it will make it unbreakable by brute force equal to a Anti-Fortress, Anti-Divine, Anti-Crown, and Anti-World types."

Silver continued, "And if I were to engrave runes like those in there, it will turn into a weapon that can never break, can never get dull, can never destroyed by any means, can kill divine beings, have chance against Grand Servants, and can easily break fortified structures."

"Right! Though, this weapon might be too much in this world, you're simply too weak to wield it much less even craft it. It might take years to do so, but I know you won't stop growing stronger."

"I will. Any advice?"

"There's no need for advice, is there?"

"Nope, not really. No."

"Well, good luck!"

--------------------------------

Silver opened his eyes and met a familiar ceiling. Saying that he doesn't recognize this ceiling will be a lie. He slowly sat up as he know that he's injured thanks to his mysterious helper in hi soulscape who wields a spear but doesn't seem like Odin as he suspected, but was close enough.

A wet towel fell down from his forehead as he sat up from his bed. He also noticed that his clothes were changed.

Suddenly, a strong headache hit him which forced him to close his eyes.

"Urgh..." monotone grunt was heard made by himself.

Upon opening his eyes, his vision was flooded with thin red thread-like lines on some items. He looked at the chair nearby and saw it normally, until lines appeared when he thought of breaking it. The lines disappeared once he calmed himself down.

He looked around to try and see if he can find a mirror, and he did found one on top of a drawer nearby the bed.

He looked at himself and saw his eyes glow in rainbow color.

*Click!*

The door opened and Kane entered the room. He was holding what seems to be a dog collar, and instead of a bell, it has an orb with a rune instead.

"Ah! You're awake, I see."

Silver noticed it, and he doesn't like what he was holding nor his intentions.

"No! I won't wear that!" Silver's voice raised, but his voice doesn't seem to contain emotion, just plain shouting.

"Aw, come on! Wear this! Don't tell me, you prefer blindfolded?"

"Of course."

"Urgh...*sigh* Fine!"

Kane left the room and then came back with a black cloth as a blindfold.

"Here."

Silver took it and covered his eyes with it. He can't see, yes. But he tried to sense the natural mana in the air, which is harder to sense, and used it to project the surroundings in his mind, allowing him to see what was impossible when blindfolded using a plain cloth with no special effects.

Then, Silver tried to use that natural mana to light up a fire on his palm. Instead of a normal flame, it was a crimson flame with shades of yellow and orange as well as darker shade of red. The fire was hotter than before even though he used the same amount he does with his own mana. Then, he put out the fire and tried to stand up, only to feel his stomach hurt which resulted in his legs turning jelly but was able to reduced the pain he felt by using shallow breath to reinforced his injured parts and also on his legs so he can stand up properly.

"Your clothes are on the wardrobe over there." Kane said before he left the room.

--------------------------------

Walking around Orario, he heard a familiar sound. When he got a good look...

"What the fuċk?"

It was a railway train car that was coming and stopped. It's not big nor that fast, but it is fast enough to travel around Orario at a faster rate than walking or using carriages. Its disadvantage is that it is not connected to any nearby city or village as the train cars are small at the size of a bus, and was slow so any monsters like Loup Garou that are very fast would easily be able to attack people who are riding on it unless it is a bullet train and could carry more people.

He shook his head and walked around more until he mumbled upon the Pantheon, the main building of Adventurer's Guild.

As he have no any business in this place, he turned around.

"HELP! THIEF!"

A cliche scene happened and a very fast thief ran very fast. A green blur followed. And as there is nothing for him to do, he decided to help.

Utilizing the Flash Step technique and concentrating much oxygen on his legs, he dashed forward and disappeared. He appeared in front of the thief and took him down easily by using his own force and slammed him down.

The thief was knocked out in an instant.

He quickly left and disappeared in thin air.

"So fast!" the green blur was now clear, revealing an elf with a golden hair.

[Vault of Information]

Silver's Alignment is True Neutral. If Silver wants to destroy something, he will destroy something unless he was convinced to not destroy something, like the moon. He doesn't care if he is accused as he would rather prove his innocence by action, not by words, or he might just outright ignore it until the truth gets revealed but he will never forget those who doubted him or didn't believe him. He doesn't care about rules that restricts his freedom and will oppose anyone who messes with his family regardless of what they want: for justice, to wreak havoc, or revenge.. He helps if he could, especially when there's something bad happens in front of him with an exception that he won't help if civilians are not hurt or affected.
