Chapter 8 - Sword & Magic II

As a few months flew fast, his strength is terrifying for a kid without Falna. His strength still cannot rival a level 1 without relying on his breath style, so I will train him in my own version of 'Room of Spirit and Time' to train him there for two years.

Also, since he cannot level by normal means, his magic with a Roman numeral for 1 is now showing 2 after

teaching him magic and him exhausting his Mana and letting himself fall close to Mind Down or Mind Zero.

His Magic status was now level 2 in just 2 years. All of us, Zeus, Hera, Me, and Meteria, found out that his magic automatically raises its level on his own after reaching the maximum status that no one thought it was possible for any mortal beings, and that is reaching the SSS-Rank with the max value of 1,500.

Of course, it levels up and resets like a normal level when the ability is leveled up and will be shown like this:

Despite being weak, Silver trained his body through the old way of getting stronger... Training like your life depends on it, because it does. He will be in Orario when things would get chaotic around Bell and he doesn't want to take the role of Bell because he doesn't want to be a Hero nor would he want to be an Anti-Hero. He simply want to live as normal as he could which he knew it is futile with me here and being Bell's uncle much to his annoyance because he's still young but he's already an uncle.

Sword and Magic, his favorite combo. He's a Magic Swordsman at this rate. And he also used a technique other Anime he watched before getting reincarnated here by me.

Touki. No, not from DxD, but from Mushoku Tensei which is just an Enhancement through the use of Mana like Mana Skin from Black Clover, but not exactly weaker version nor the better version. The only difference is that Mana Skin is a Reinforcement Magic while Touki is just a Mana Manipulation as if trying to imitate Reinforcement Magic. Of course, Mana Skin is just a basic Reinforment Magic spell and there are even more advanced version of it, albeit they use more Mana.

Since he tried it, I taught him how to better his control and how to raise the increase as well as use it on his swords as well in order for him to be able to send out sword slashes when breathing is not an option. He won't use it often, I think?

Aside from that, he wanted to join another Familia and be able to as an Adventurer. However, I have a better plan for that, and he will like it because it is indeed a good deal. That's for another chapter though.

• 3rd Person POV •

"Are you ready?"

"For what?" He looked at Kane suspiciously, "Don't Tell you've got something crazy in your mind, don't you?"

"Well, since you already got the hint, let's go!"

"OI! Can't I have a say?"

"Nope!"

"Tch! Millennium-Age old man..."

And so Kane dragged Silver in a room with just the two of them alone...

"I don't think it will fit..." you can hear the voice of Silver on the other side of the door.

"Nah! It will fit, trust me." Kane reassured him.

"That's the problem! I don't trust you! I tell you, it won't fit at all!" Silver said witb slightly loud but calm voice.

"Try it first."

"*Sigh*... Alright, fine..."

• A few seconds later... •

"URGH! Too...tight..." it was Silver who said that...

• Inside the room •

Silver had a silver bangle on his neck that was a little too tight for his neck. In the end, Silver have to destroy it by ripping it off which made Kane pale because his creation was destroyed.

"The bangle is way too small..."

"I guess...I will make another one...to-" Kane did not continue any further.

"To what? What was the purpose of that scrap?" Silver asked in monotone voice.

"It's not a scrap!! It's used for 6-year old kids to raise their development abilities by a rank and speeds up the rise on their ranks."

"..."

"..."

"I won't need it because I'm pretty sure it's useless..." Silver said and left Kane.

Meanwhile, Kane decided to get revenge by training his rival instead. So, his plan of making Silver's fated rival to get stronger so Silver would be defeated. He started searching right away that day.

On the other hand, Silver was inside the library of their home outside Orario since he got his Blessing from Hera and other Adventurers would easily know if a person is normal or they had received a Blessing already, and they check which Familia they are into before they let them in if they didn't arrive with their god or goddess.

He started reading about magic, a versatile magic. Holy Magic, commonly known as Light Magic. It's Holy because it possess the ability to drive out evil and exorcist evil spirits as well. They can also purify souls so they will enter the cycle of life and death through reincarnation.

Right now, he's learning a lot of things from short chant healing spell that heals huge amount of healing effect to more other types of Holy Magic such as the spell Exorcist and Purify, until to the most offensive ones like Excalibur spell that is technically the attack of Excalibur but weaker and doesn't need a weapon.

After learning a lot of them, with his eidetic memory, he could easily remember the descriptions and instructions on how to use the attacks.

Branching out from Holy Magic, is none other than Sunshine Magic. Although it is a branch of Holy Magic, Sunshine Magic has more offensive in it's arsenal and also grants the ability to store sunlight energy and the user gets stronger the higher the sun is in the sky and will become totally immune to all damage for a minute at noon.

However, he doesn't want to learn Sunshine Magic yet without knowing Holy Magic and its counterpart, Dark Magic. He's gonna focus on these two magic along with mastering his Lightning Magic first so he could complete the Fire Emblem Magic Triangle which are composed of: Light, Dark, and Anima.

Anima (Elemental) beats Light, Light beats Dark, and Dark beats Anima.

That's how they work. Even though there is a Lightning spell for Light Magic, its power is weaker than the element-attributed version of it instead of purely made of burning light but hits faster than the one with element.

Of course, he's still learning the basic spells first and master them to the point that it can rival an intermediate-level spell and he could cast it chantless.

"More..."

He trained and trained. He also cooked first before eating since Kane is still in somewhere unknown and Hera can only cook few dishes and they don't have the ingredients in her recipes while Meteria doesn't know as she was sticker in bed before and she never thought of trying to learn how to cook.

After 3 months, Kane still didn't came back. But within these months, Silver learned how to cook and became much better each day until his foods accidentally attracted a little girl from the nearby village who was clearly malnourished due to not being able to eat proper meals.

Silver fed the girl each dayshe visited because Silver forced her too by rushing towards their house and told the poor family that they WILL eat with them like they were a family.

And the Apricot family wants to pay all the goodwill they received from them so they started helping out in the house. However, there are too little of jobs to be done so they ended up starting a farm and they are different types of crops.

Soon, Kane came back from finding the rival of Silver and train him a bit. He now knows which Familia the rival had joined into and his God's familia was The which can pose a threat to any Adventurers 2 levels above themselves.

However, he didn't expect huge changes happened at Silver's home in the span of 3 months which shocked him greatly.

"Huh? What the fuċk?!"
