Chapter 156 - Point Of View

***

"Aruna, I can't accompany you". Hendra helped her take off the IV. After so much hardship, this girl was still having trouble wearing clothes. She was still wrapped in towel pajamas.

"Ouch!". That voice appeared as the IV was removed and the fresh blood stream was immediately wiped with a tissue.

"Does it hurt? Be patient for a while". It seemed that Hendra was handling it calmly, quite expertly.

"Accompany? You mean to the restaurant?". Aruna was agitated.

"Yes". Hendra answered briefly.

"Why? Where are you going?".

"Wenceslas Construction is having a problem. After this, I have to go to the crime scene. A mistake in making a statement will lead to long speculation. It can't be delegated to others or the dream city will be constrained". The blue-eyed asked his wife to understand. A sullen face began to be shown by Aruna.

Next, there was a knock on the door. Hendra said: "Come in".

Slowly, three men entered the room.

"Where is that little thug?" Hendra asked someone.

"Needs a little handling". One of them answered.

"Aruna.. Change your clothes, Honey.. I don't like my wife looking like this". Hendra asked.

"Yes!". This girl quickly climbed down her bed and immediately sneaked into the bathroom.

.

When she came out, she just looked at the chaos in her room due to the behavior of her friends mixed with seven people standing there including Mahendra.

Aruna only recognized two people apart from Hendra. One of the first to enter earlier was the bodyguard who guarded him in this hospital. The other one was Juan, a man who was held by two people at once.

Aruna was shaking. She wanted to go back to the bathroom. A girl from an ordinary circle had a very hard time adapting to this kind of situation.

When Hendra approached Juan and examined the face of the young man who was held by two other people, Aruna felt that Hendra was different.

"Oh. Here! Come here. I'll introduce you to your bodyguards". Hendra's cheerful voice contradicted his style of treating the people around him earlier before noticing Aruna came out of the bathroom.

Automatically, this girl walked more carefully. Hendra immediately grabbed her because he didn't have much time.

"There are three people. This one is Alvin and then Rollan. The other one, you already know who he is.. Let go of Juan". Hendra's explanation was in line with his request to the person who held Juan to let go of him.

"Hm.. Why not women like Grandma and Mrs. Gayatri?". This girl was getting agitated.

"No one has matched the qualifications yet. They're the best in the audition. Next time I'll find it if you want women".

Aruna was more busy glancing at Juan. That man's lips were injured. His temples, too. It looked like he'd been through something bad.

"Juan, lower your head! You mustn't look directly at my wife".

"Hehe.. You already know I'm a bastard, traitor. Why do you still grant my wish?". This kid was different.

"Simple. Because you're a bit like me. Well.. I like it. Now, I've fulfilled your wish to be my wife's bodyguard. Work well. You guys too. Make sure she's safe or you won't survive". Aruna had never seen Hendra speaking this way before.

"Honey. Can you.. Hm.. What's wrong with you??".

_Is Aruna scared or what? She's agitated?_

"Come closer, Honey. It's okay..". Hendra warmed up again.

"You may ask all of them or one of them to accompany your activities. But, in a crowded place, they must work together. Okay?". Hendra was replied by a nod. Aruna was still trying to stabilize her heart.

"Raka, how's there?". Hendra asked one of the men who'd held Juan earlier.

"Reporters started reporting. The team in the field won't issue any statement while waiting for you". That man explained seriously.

"Good! Make sure no one says anything. Dream City is being loved by news seekers from the start. Ah, it's really troublesome". Hendra turned his body closer to Aruna.

"The members of The House of Representatives (DPR) started to speculate". Raka's remarks stopped Hendra from kissing his wife's cheek.

"Haha. That's for sure.. We use a rational way. Don't let any money pour out to them". Hendra lost the moment. He stroked Aruna's hair who was fixated by this different atmosphere and conversation. Was this how Hendra worked? Didn't he just wake up from his syndrome? The people around him were very serious, in contrast to Aruna's world which was cheerful and riotous. Typical of young people.

"We'll meet again tonight. Remember. Don't wait for me. I'll definitely come but don't wait. Understood?". Hendra's words were ignored. Aruna put on a worried and lethargic face at the same time. The next move was an attempt to kiss the Blue-Eyed's cheek. Unfortunately, she couldn't reach it even though she tiptoed.

"Hehe..". Hendra chuckled happily. He ducked. That little kiss led to his departure followed by three other people.

He paused for a moment and joked something to Juan with a big smile before disappearing: "You! Make sure my wife is fine or we'll play again like yesterday".

_Shit! I was going to be killed. He said play?!_ Juan could only curse inwardly.

Now, there were only three men left and Aruna didn't know what to do: "Hm.. Us? Me? What should i do.. To you?". The way these three people lined up in front of Aruna was disturbing.

"Give us orders. As simple as that but you don't understand. Wasn't it yesterday that you were good at giving me a mission?". Juan said it casually. Rolland and Alvin were surprised by Juan's courage to go against the rules. Talking carelessly to the young lady.

"Oh, I see.. Well, I hope we can..". Aruna hadn't finished talking yet.

"Let's go!". Juan walked first, ignoring her.

"Hey, you!". Alvin seemed to disagree with Juan. Rollan was confused. Aruna was also confused, just following them behind.

Alvin and Rollan were trying to keep up with him. These two people were more polite than Juan who was leading the way. Some time ago, Juan wasn't like this.

.

.

"You know why I was that desperate to find a way to be this woman's bodyguard?". Juan's way of talking was a little annoying. He was fastening his seat belt as he got ready to drive.

"Hi. I don't care how you got chosen. I also don't care about the news that you're liked by the young master. But, the way you talk makes me uncomfortable". Alvin objected to Juan calling her with 'this woman'. The man sitting in the back with Aluna looked very polite.

"We'll control this woman, not the other way around. She's from an ordinary background, so she must be easy to manage". Juan's words were too annoying.

Aruna was getting annoyed. She opened a mineral water and poured it over Juan's head. He was shocked.

"Hahahaha". Rollan and Alvin burst out laughing.

"You're great, Miss". Rollan said.

"Call me Miss!". Aruna snapped.

"You're prohibited from speaking at all today, to me or to my friends later. Even if you get questions from them".

"If it's violated. Rollan and Alvin!".

"Yes, Miss!".

"Beat him until he regrets it".

"Hahaha. Ready..". Alvin said.

"Wow, I can't wait..". Rollan said.

"Shit!". Juan's word made Rollan hit him.

"It's started. Talk so I can hit you". Alvin also couldn't wait to get a chance.

.

.

The arrival of Aruna, who was impressively accompanied by three tall young men with matching clothes, made Lili's eyes melt.

"I think it's not a problem if Lily's love is rejected by Timi". Laras saw Lili's expression.

"Yeah, so true".

Timi just laughed at their behavior.

"There's someone more tempting than Timi". Lili was a visual lover from the start. She was Aruna's only friend who didn't mind Aruna's marriage. She thought Aruna was lucky.

"Where's your husband, Aruna?". Dea questioned Hendra's whereabouts, the young master who arranged this banquet.

"He has to work. There's an urgent schedule that can't be missed. Hendra left his apologies for you guys". Aruna explained.

It could be expected that this group of young people was really noisy. If Damar participated, he was usually even crazier. He always had a way to break the ice. Yes.. Except for Juan, whose mouth was locked, afraid of being hit by Rollan and Alvin.

In the end, they played 'Mafia Party Game'. Something that Damar once taught. As the name suggested, this game was a game to catch the mafia or a secret group of innocent people's killers. The simplest rule was to prepare one person as a moderator. The rest would be blindfolded or 'sleep' while lowering their heads. Then, the moderator determined who was the mafia by poking two or three random players.
