"I will carry him for you. You still have work to do and while I am holding him I will check his body using magic just to be on the safe side." Cedric holds out his arms out and the boy willingly goes to Cedric. He used his magic letting it gently seep into the kid's skin.

After handing James to Cedric, Ivy gets up and goes to the next shelter. The door was open and like the first one, it is death. A werewolf guard was laying next to a few piles of dust.

Yuki touched the doorway and cried a little. "It is not easy to see all my people brutally murdered. If I didn't already get that asshole then I would be wanting his blood staining my hands." She looked back at Cedric.

Cedric waved her over and watched as she came to him. He kissed her eyes. "Don't cry, Sweetie. We already avenged them. If it makes you feel any better I will help you fix this place up so that your people will be protected."

James kissed Yuki's cheek as Cedric kissed her eyes. "You are prettier when you smile." He giggled and then kissed Cedric's cheek. "Thank you for holding me and keeping me away from the scary sights."

Cedric turned and rubbed the little guy's head and started tickling him. "You're a cheeky little guy aren't you? Do not worry I will keep you safe. I will also help keep the pretty lady safe as well."

Ivy backed out of the fourth room and went to the room that no one could open and looked at Yuki. "Why can we not get inside this shelter?" She touched the door and tried the override code and it did not work.

Yuki touched the door and tried her code but it did not work. 'Tch." She turns to Cedric and holds her arms out. "Come to me, James. I need Cedric to open this shelter for me."

Cedric lets James go to Yuki and then walks to the door. He creates a sword out of air and slices the door open and enters the shelter. He sees that there was actually living beginning inside but they were weak. He pops his head out. There are survivors here but they are in rough shape."

Ivy ran to the next shelter and started grabbing the blood bag drinks and ran inside and started to hand them to the survivors. "Please drink this. It will replenish you." She was holding the blood pack to a vampire and if they drank the blood deeply and then she repeated the process until they were well enough to get up and move.

Yuki handed James back to Cedric and entered the room. She let out a sigh in relief. I am so glad that you all made it. You are all strong and I wanted to inform you that I avenged you guys already. I killed the man responsible for the attack and I will ensure that this does not happen again. I am deeply saddened by this." Her head hung and she looked terribly upset.

"Your excellency, we do not blame you besides look at all of us that survived here. Seven here and how many more on the outside?" The oldest man looked at Ivy.

"Fourteen, that is remarkable. When I made it in this shelter I thought that we would be the only ones but to see you survive my daughter, I am proud of you." The elder smiled before looking at Yuki. "Your excellency I am sorry but the enemy recovered the tablet."

"That is alright. I already got it back. There is nothing to worry about now." Yuki looked at the ceiling and then stepped out. "Come and stretch outside."

The elder got up and left the shelter smiling. "For a lot of death that has taken place, there is little mess to clean up. I am kind of surprised. He looked around.

Ivy stepped out and looked around. "The four of us worked long and hard on burying our dead and making sure that the place gets cleaned up. We can not let the blood stain our floors forever. Also, we made a pile in the back and we were going to burn those bodies as they are not our people."

"You did well Daughter. We will burn those bodies in the evening for now we need to assess the damages that were done."

"The structure is safe and they didn't destroy your pictures. I think that is a win." Cedric was standing with James stuck to his side.

Yuki skipped over and kissed Cedric. We need to check the tablet room. I want to fix the damage done there."

"Ivy, go with her excellency and the consort. Do what they need to and James you will stay here with us." The elder spoke the order and the little guy frowned but nodded his head.

Cedric placed James on the ground. "I will see you later." He pats the boy's head one last time and goes to Ivy and Yuki. "Is there anything that I need to know about the place you are bringing me?"

Ivy starts to walk away keeping her mouth shut as Yuki would be able to describe it better than she could.

"This is a place where no sunlight touches. It was built deep in the cave system. The deeper you go the better it is. We will go down that path and we will bring lanterns, torches, flashlights, or magic to light the way. It doesn't matter as long as it is not direct sunlight." Yuki touches the walls as they go down the dark pathway not holding anything in her hands.

Cedric lights a lantern and follows her down the stairs while Ivy takes the rear. They walked down a stone-built spiral staircase that went on for quite some time.

Yuki reached the bottom and looked around the room and sighed in relief. "The sunlight has not touched this spot yet. Then again it would take a lot of work for the sun to reach this area."

Cedric stepped into the cavern-like room. In the center was an altar that was elegantly carved stone and he looked at the ancient text that was carved in the stone. "Thy, is the Darkness from within thy mind?"

"Thy, is the darkness from within thy mind, thy soul, thy very being. None shall surpass the royalty of the night." Yuki goes and stands on the altar and drops her transformation and goes to her vampiric state. "Lucifer, come to me."

Cedric placed the touch on an urn and the room started to get lit up by blue flames. He walks to Yuki and bows down to her. "And what can I do for you?"

"Come and lay on the altar for me." Yuki hopped off and waited for Cedric to lay down.

Cedric raises one eyebrow and then lays down. He watched Yuki and was about to say something when he felt Yuki's finger on his lips.

"Shhhh, just relax and let me do what I need to get done." Yuki unbuttons his shirt and exposes his neck. She kisses his neck and then bites in drinking his blood. ~Thy is my partner, thy is royalty for the rest of thy life. No one will take thy powers for you. Cedric hears the words as clear as day but not in his mind but in the room bouncing off the walls so it was slightly echoey. "I Lucifer, accept being thy mate and I will never leave you by yourself, Amaris." he felt his body start to burn and the spell the Yuki had placed started to bind him more.

Yuki licked the wound and kissed him roughly. She pulled him closer and tried her best. She pulled back and looked him in the eyes. "You are one step away from becoming the night world king. I inherit the throne automatically once we are married but I wanted to make sure that at that time you will also will inherit your rightful place by my side."

Cedric pulls her back for a kiss and this time deepens it so that she could not escape. He slipped into her mouth leading her deeper and deeper into her lust-filled mind. He doesn't stop until he feels her body going limp against his and her body shivering in anticipation. He kissed up to her ear, "What are you getting turned on for? I thought you were going to lead me but here I took that away from you."

Yuki's body shivers, "I-I can't help it Lucifer. Your kisses make me crave more and I can't control the urges anymore. I love you with my whole being."
