Chapter 240 - 240 Gifts of Chocolates

Cedric looked at the happy couple. "We have a great team. Let's go get the chocolates and then go back to the ship." He holds out his arm waiting until he feels Yuki place her arm through his and he lifts his magic and the two leave.

Yuki looks back and waves bye and then disappears from the sight of the two and then they are back in the chocolate store. "Look at all the bags!"

"I sorted them by flavours for you. The light red single bag is the spicy chocolates, the blood-red is the blood chocolates, the purple bag is the cream chocolates, and the mixed chocolates are in the yellow bags. Do think of me next time and I will deliver chocolates. I left my contact information in the blood chocolate bag." The owner smiled and handed the bags over the counters.

Cedric hands Yuki the blood chocolates and holds the rest. He teleports them to the car but the one closer to the ship. So that they don't have to keep up appearances with the humans of the daylight hours. He opens the back door and places the bags in the back. "I will send someone else to move my car. Do not worry about it. In the city where there are supernaturals that use a mall in secret from the humans, there is nothing to worry about."

"I was not worried about that but I am worried about the hunters. There is a chance that they will come looking for our kind and with all of us going to the castle will it not draw attention?" Yuki got into the car and sat down still holding her bag of chocolates.

Cedric climbed inside and sat down next to her, "I know that the hunters are scary but they do not have control of the supernaturals and only those with great powers can control them but I do understand their fear. Vampires go on a rampage and kill for fun and I know that we will both agree that is not okay. Which is why we need to get you back in control to stop the killings then maybe they will see that there is nothing to worry about." He started the car and drove back to the docks.

Sighing Yuki looked out the window, "I always wished that I could do my part in making everything better but I did not think for a moment that it would come into fruition. Now that I am gaining my memories I think that you are correct; the unnecessary killings must stop." Yuki closed her eyes and fully relaxed in the chair.

"I know that you are trying your best and I will be there every step of the way. Just look at all the people that need your help now that you have found them. I will tell you this though. I have hunted some of the worst killers." Cedric focuses on driving while telling a new story to Yuki. "I was watching the articles in a small town that I had stopped in and young children were disappearing. They suspected me but I told them I had only been there for two days and that I had never been there before. I walked the streets when it was dark and everyone should be asleep and a young girl who was in a trance walked by me so I followed the girl and found the monster that was killing the town's children. I captured him and brought him to the town square and started yelling. I was dragging the man and holding the poor girl; she was crying but alive. I set her down and she ran to her parents. She told everyone that I had saved her life and that old lady Lori was the one killing the young. She was tied to a post in the middle of town and the townspeople set about burning her. A small group of seven people went to this person's house and found the remains of the other child and tossed flames on the logs. That supernatural died as they deserved." He pulled up and parked the car and hopped out.

Yuki jumped out and looked at Cedric, "I think what you did was the right thing but did the supernatural die from the fire?" She looked at him curiously.

"Of course not. A hunter walked into town, looked at the burning body, and held his gun to me. The townsfolk yelled at him, while I stared at him. I told him that I helped the town and the little girl I saved, bless her little heart. She ran up to the hunter and bit his hand. The man shifted the gun in his hands and shot the supernatural. One day I hope we can aid each other but he gave me a death glare and lowered the gun. He said because the town was against him killing me that he would "spare" me. I laughed and teleported from the town." Cedric takes all the bags and walked to the ship and he could feel that Yuki was following him.

"I bet the townsfolk were shocked that you disappeared. If I was human I would think that same thing." Yuki stopped and let Cedric get out and placed the bags down before allowing him to lift her up and carrying her on the boat.

"Quite right dear. That is why I took us to the car first and now we will go to the ship." Cedric hops down and slips her into the passenger seat. After she was seated he went back to the side of the ship and was surprised to see Liam untying the ship.

"I say the car came back so I walked over to help untie the boat. Have a safe trip to your beautiful ship." He tossed the rope to Cedric and waved.

"Thanks, I will add a little extra to your pay. You didn't have to come out. Be safe on your trip back home." Cedric caught the rope and placed it to the side. Then went and started the ignition. As quickly as possible he guided the boat over and started to hook it to the ship. He got the hooks on and then brought the boat up.

"Thank God, I cannot believe the day we had here!" Claude complains as the boat came into view.

Nao leans over the railing. "Big Sister, I was scared when I woke up and you were not there."

Lyla held Naomi's shirt. "No falling overboard."

Cedric picked up Yuki and teleported behind everyone. "You wait here while I grab the rest, okay?" He saw Yuki nod, then disappeared back to the boat and then back with all the bags. "Okay, we will hear all of your complaints in the kitchen." Cedric walked with the bags feeling Yuki at his side.

Yuki followed and held Naomi's hand. "I am sorry that I worried you." They all stopped in the kitchen.

"You all will need to get used to me taking Yuki away. She is mine." Cedric's eyes flashed ebony and with a deep almost crazy possession.

"Yes, I belong to you. Lyla, thank you for making sure Naomi did not go overboard. I had a lovely time and I brought back gifts!" Yuki smiles waiting for the people to calm down.

Sephira looks at everyone and starts laughing, "you all look like you are suffering but honestly if you think about it Yuki will go out as she pleases. I am glad you made it back." She took Yuki's hands then kissed both her cheeks then whispered, "Everyone hounded Claude on where you were."

Adam came into the kitchen. "Ah, so you have returned. Welcome back. I have done as you requested and started to train Lyla." He grabs a glass of water and sits down at the table with everyone else.

"Thank you for your hard work." Cedric nods and Addam. "Okay, now that we are back and everyone is here. We went into town and ran in my Aunt. Every time I see her and Yuki together, it makes my heart race. I do not like Claudia dipping into my business. Also, we had an altercation with a werewolf."

Yuki scoffs, "Over ice cream. I know wolves love their food but the shop had hundreds of flavours." Shrugging she looked at Claude.

Claude sighed and looked between the two. "You drank him dry of both blood and essence. I thought I was smelling things."

"Is that why I can smell blood on Yuki? I am slowly getting used to my new senses." Sephira looked at the bags and felt her mouth water.

"Okay, before there are any more interruptions. I will hand out your gifts." Yuki picked up the first two bags she gave the one bag to Sephira and Claude. Then she grabbed the mixed chocolates and gave a box to Adam and Lyla. Lastly, she picked up a blood chocolate box and handed it to Naomi.

"We were not forgotten! Thank you, Master and Big Sister." She took the box and ran her hand down the top. "I can already tell I will love these."

Everyone tore the packages open except Adam. He stared at the box and was trying to hide the smile on his face. As the boxes opened everyone started to eat a few pieces.
