Chapter 58 - Everlasting Origin Flame

Alex travelled for a long time, killing all the monsters in his way. He was following a large presence that he started so sense a few kilometers back.

A death aura gathered around him as he kept slaughtering living beings. Alex's eyes became cold and domineering. Most monsters started avoiding Alex making his journey to the powerful presence slightly easier.

Another thing Alex felt was the rising temperature surrounding him the closer he got to the presence. The temperature was pretty high. However if someone from Earth was here, they would most likely die from such intense heat.

After a while, Alex arrived at the spot where he felt the presence.

'It seems to be coming from that cave' Alex thought as he set his eyes on the cave which seemed to release scorching heat.

He entered the cave with half of his barriers set to defense and the other half to heat protection. Even then, he still felt the heat on his skin.

Deeper within the cave, he found stairs made of unknown material with symbols on them.

"Celestine, copy a picture of these symbols from my memory and send it to the formations folder." Alex said as he curiously stared at the symbols. As he was touching the steps, he realized that it was not hot instead it was at a normal temperature.

They seemed to be some kind of Formation to be capable of disperse the huge amount of heat in the cave. Alex sat down and kept looking at the symbol.

'If this symbol has such power, then it would be really useful for me in the future. This symbol is probably the highest Grade Formation that I've seen in this world. After reading those books in the library, I have a decent amount of knowledge on formations. This seems to be an ancient formations that has been lost in time or something that doesn't come from this world. Who know? There could be many more Divine beings around that could have built something mortals can't comprehend. However if they can understand it so can I!' Alex thought as he sent his Soul energy to inspect the Formation.

The formation was simple yet mysterious. Using simple techniques, anyone could draw these however, the power wouldn't be the same. Alex kept feeling it until he discovered something. In the middle of the Formation, there was a type of essense. The surrounding Qi passed through it and it dispersed the heat around it. To remake it, Alex would need that type of essense that could control heat which he didnt have.

Alex suddenly had an idea. He stood up and released his Soul Power. He controlled the essense of all formations and pulled all of them together. The essense of the formations started to repel each other. trying to return back to their formations but Alex used his immense soul power to force them into one.

Boom!

The ground slightly shook.

The cave which was already scorching hot became increasingly hotter. Alex looked at the result and saw a blue flame. Alex then took his blood and dripped it into the flame resulting in the disappearance of the flame. Alex looked around to find nothing. He then checkd within his inner realm and there it was. Unlike everything else within his inner realm, he could actually move the flame.

Alex was astonished. This flame already had an incredible amount of heat coming out of it. What if he found all 10 of them. The generated heat would be Infinite.

"Alright. It's time to go deeper ins--"Alex was saying but was interrupted by a massive wave of heat and pressure.

Dust blocked his vision and just before he could react, a massive bird leg appeared and grabbed his head.

Boom!

His head was smashed towards the ground. His body fell deeper inside the cave. Red eyes appeared in the smoke releasing killing Intent.
