Chapter 37 - Building

Alex came back to the hotel and found the pair of brother and sister. He told them about his idea of starting up a business. When he mentioned it to them, their eyes shone a bit while nodding. If Alex really started a business and was successful, they would have a massive amount of money pouring in. As Alex was their master, they would also indirectly receive benefits.

Seeing that they were excited, Alex chuckled and told them to cultivate. If they wanted revenge, they needed power. Although Alex could probably annihilate with his thoughts, he wanted them to do it themselves. After all, as his followers, they needed to be paragons amongst everyone else.

He then left to go back to his room and took out the equipment for alchemy that were left by his parents.

He sat down and began to think about the knowledge he had about Alchemy. Although he knew what to do, he hasn't seen anyone do it.

To make pills, he had to purify all the ingredients then condense them together into a pill. If the proportions were not correct or the attributes of the herb wasn't compatible with the other, it could lead to an explosion.

An technique for Alchemy allows its user to conjure a flame and purify the herbs. If the technique's quality was high enough, it would also have a method to mix the herbs together.

Alex already had experience controlling flames as he did so when he used magic. In Alchemy, precise control was an important factor.

He took out the herbs needed to make some 'Qi Gathering Pills', 'Earth Realm Breakthrough Pills' and some 'Impurity Remover'.

Qi Gathering Pills were like they sounded. They gathered Qi around its consumers.

Earth-Realm Breakthrough Pills allowed its consumers to breakthrough to Earth Realm. This is extremely useful for cultivators at peak Qi-Condensation Realm.

As for the 'Impurity Remover' Pill, it removed impurities from the consumers body. It was useful for those who gathered impurities by taking too many pills. It could also make the skin clean which Alex thought would be useful for ladies.

Alex put all the ingredients of the Qi Gathering Pill inside his cauldron and started to use 'God of Alchemy's Flawless Purifying Flame'. A pure white-blue flame appeared in Alex palm as he used his mind to control its temperature. To check the temperature was quite easy as he used his 'Identify' skill on the flame.

He then sperated his flame to surround every ingredient. The temperature of each part of the flame was different as every herb had different 'melting' points.

The ingredients Alex had prepared turned into some kind of substance as they floated inside the cauldron. Alex purified the ingredients with extreme precision. Stop the flames too early, the purity of the result would be decreased. Stop the flames too late, the pill wouldn't even be able to form.

Alex immediately moved all the substances into the middle of the cauldron. He mixed them evenly into a small sphere.

Alex condensed the pill while guiding Qi into it. When consumed, the pill will trigger a reaction to attract the surrounding Qi to it.

The pill shone a small light and slowly dimmed after a few seconds. Alex opened the cauldron and saw a green pill. He then used his 'Identify' skill to check if it was a success.

He was also using the system's auto forging feature at the same time to prepare products. He forged 100 Tier-2, 50 Tier-3 and a Tier-4 Swords. He also forged the same number of axes and daggers as the amount of swords.

When he finished making all the pills, he received a series of messages from his system.

Alex stood up and stretched. He found Lucas and Freya, who were still cultivating and checked their progress. He was about to leave but he then remembered something important. He turned back to the pair of siblings and drew a formation around them with his fingers. He warned them and activated it. He then left the hotel happily.

He walked around and found a land for sale. The building was a pagoda. After checking around with its seller, Alex gave the money and claimed ownership over the land.

Alex went into the building and used his soul power to clean everything up. He then followed by setting everything up. He lined up the weapons and the pills that he had just made and drew formations around them which could only be released by a special token.

Feeling that the building was still empty, Alex ran to an herb shop and bought as many herbs as he could. When he returned to the pagoda, he took out his cauldron and started forming pills.

Alex took about 2 hours to all of this. He looked at his shop with a satisfied expression. He then remembered that his shop needed a name. He took a big wooden Sign and wrote the name of his store with Profound Intent and Sword Intent.
