Chapter 25 - Do You Have to Leave?

The sun rose from the horizon, lighting up Alex's dark room. Sounds of Birds chirping could be heard and the leaves of the lush forest fluttering in the distance.

Alex's gaze roamed the room as his eyes slowly opened. He looked at the semi-transparent blue screen in front of him.

"Hey Celestine." Alex started talking to his system.

[Good Morning Master. It has been a while since you have talked to me.]

"Oh sorry. I have been pretty busy lately."

[I have to remind Master to keep calm. Master's emotions ran wild yesterday. The Tanquility of Emotions suppressed the worst part of it but Master still annihilated the other party.]

When Alex heard this, he chuckled and nodded.

"I wonder what they think of me after seeing me release so much Killing Intent."

He started flying towards his closet and wore some casual clothes. He walked out of his house and started to exercise. He ran until he got tired. With his increased attributes and Cultivation Base, it started getting hard to tire himself from exercising. The only way to push himself to his limits is fighting someone stronger than him. Even that was hard as he would have to fight someone in the Sky Realm or Above. Those type of people couldn't easily be found.

After returning home, Alex took a nice warm shower. He cooked himself a nice well-balanced breakfast with an Elemental Flame.

He looked at the {Gentle Ice Sword} which he forged yesterday night.

He decided to leave town tomorrow morning so he planned to give the sword to Yui today. He took the sword scabbard and viewed it. There was a empty slot. He had originally planned to put some sort of jewelry there but he decided to put something else.

He then took out a kite-shaped crystal from his inventory. It was a {Soul Stone}. As long as you put a tiny part of someone's soul in it, it would indicate if the person was alive or dead.

Alex injected his soul power within the crystal. The crystal shone a blue light as Alex's soul was imprinted within it.

Seeing that this light could be a fatal giveaway to the holders location when in stealth, he created a cover for it. Now whenever the cover was lifted, Yui could see whether Alex was alive or not.

He placed down the sword and continued eating his breakfast.

After he was done eating, he stood up and cleaned up. He placed the sword within his inventory and walked out of his house. He strolled around the streets and helped around. His reputation was very good within the village as he helped around a lot. He also had good looks. He was like an angel to them. His presence made others happy.

After walking around the town, Alex came up to Yui's house. He knocked on the door and waited. The next moment, the door opened and he saw Yui who was still in her nightgown. She also had a blanket over herself.

Seeing this, Alex shook his head and flicked Yui's forehead. He scolded her.

"Do you Know what time it is?"

"~Oww!"

Yui covered her forehead in pain as she looked at who the person at the door was. When her vision cleared, she saw Alex and immediately repented.

"Ah~!? Sorry, I won't do it again Sir!!"

Alex was surprised as he didn't expect Yui to do this. He laughed and entered the house with Yui.

When they were in the living room, Alex sat down on the couch as Yui went to change clothes.

After a while, Yui came back to where Alex was. She was still curious as to why Alex would come to her house so early in the morning.

"So Alex, why did you come here so early in the morning?"

"Well...Do..Do you want to go out to eat somewhere with me?" Alex asked anxiously as those words came out of his mouth randomly.

After Alex said that, Yui looked at him in the eye. She blushed as she didn't expect Alex to ask her out so suddenly. She didn't know what to say so she just responded with a simple.

"S-Sure"

"Do you want to go now?" Alex was surprised that she accepted.

"Eh? Now? O-ok sure!" Yui snapped out of her daze and responded.

When Alex heard Yui's confirmation , he stood up and extended his hand out to help Yui up. They told the Old Man and he just chuckled.

Alex and Yui left the house and walked around. When It was lunch time, Alex brought her to the town's best restaurant. Along the way, they talked and made food memories together.

After finishing lunch, Alex summoned the cloud he had created during the festival and brought Yui to a place he found when he was 7 years old. The place was in the forest. Most beast feared him and would not dare come close to him.

When they arrived, Yui and Alex hopped off the cloud and made their way to the waterfall. The clear water looked magical as it glowed a sky blue light from time to time. The lush forest around them made it even more beautiful. Yui was mesmerized by this scene. It was truly a magnificent view.

She woke up from her daze when Alex called and pulled her. He brought her closer to the waterfall.

Alex brought her to an entrance to a cave. When they entered, a beautiful crystal cave entered Yui's eyes. The crystals has a blue-purple coloured within them. The back of the waterfall was also seen. She followed Alex through a pathway and when she got out, a strong breeze passed by her.

The blinding sun made her have to adjust her vision. She realized that she was a kilometer high from the ground and she had a view of the entire town.

"Thank You for bringing me here Alex!"

Alex chuckled at her reaction. It reminded him of his first time here. He was also mesmerized by the beautiful scenery. He felt that this was the right moment to ask Yui.

"Yui?"

"What is it Alex?" Yui turned her head to Alex when she heard him.

"Would You like to be my girlfriend?"

*Poof*

Yui's face became red as she blushed. She had thought of it before, but she never expected Alex to ask her so soon. Although it was sudden, it made her happy.

"Yes~" Yui accepted and looked at Alex with a shy expression.

They stared at each other and Alex took the initiative and held up Yui's chin and kissed her.

"W-what?" Yui seperated and touched her lips. She was shocked as she didn't expect Alex to kiss her. She recalled the feeling and smiled. It felt nice. She felt that this was the happiest moment of her life. She wished she could just stay at this moment in time.

She stared at Alex and realized something.

"Hey Alex, when are you going to leave to find your parents?"

Alex was surprised at this question and looked down. He didn't expect this question to be brought up now but he answered honestly.

"Tomorrow Morning. I'm leaving tomorrow morning."

Yui froze. She thought that she would be able to spend more time with Alex but she was wrong. She only had a couple hours left before he left. Then She heard Alex say something else.

"I'll come back for a week every 3 months."

Although she was happy that he wouldn't leave for a year at a time, she was sad that he would come back for only a week.

She then asked another question.

"Alex, Do you have to leave?"

Alex looked at her and smiled. He answered.

"I have to. I need to save my parents. After that, I'll come back to you."

He then remembered something. He told Yui to close her eyes and he took out the Gentle Ice Sword from his inventory.

When he allowed Yui to open her eyes, she saw the rapier.

"Is this-?" Yui was about to ask Alex what it was but he cut her off and answered. "I forged this sword for you. Not Only is it a Tier-4 Sword, it also has a dormant spirit within it. It's yours now."

Yui held the rapier in her hand and felt a warm feeling in her heart. Although she still had questions on how Alex forged it so fast, she knew that he was a man who could not be comprehended by normal standards.

Yui unsheated the sword and felt power surging out of it. She felt extremely calm while holding it. After testing it out, she sheathed it back into its scabbard.

She hugged Alex for such a precious gift and thanked him.

Alex caressed her hair and explained the Soul Stone Function to her.

She smiled hearing that she could see if Alex was fine or not. She leaned her head on his shoulder as she gazed down upon the town.

Alex held Yui's hand and closed his eyes as the gentle breeze blew past them.
