30 Nature's Reclamation Pt2

As Caleb heard this voice shudder through the room his body convulsed lurching to the ground as if a weight forced him down and shuddering as if it invaded his body and mind, convulsing and forth.

While convulsing feeling the air flow out his lungs his eyes glazed and froth started to form, Pain, absolute unadulterated pain stopped his body movements, using one of the last few breaths in his lungs.

"Sy..stem ..help"

Eyes still glazed and shaking as he involuntarily convulsed on the floor took hold with great resistance he took control, but only for a short time as he went head to head with whatever this was

As he tried to stay waves of sound reverberated out of one spot which the stone lay

Caleb focused on that spot with his glazing eyes, something there was glowing, still convulsing eyes starting to roll back he frantically tried to escape

"Cowards sprint"

Nothing happened, silence covered the room except for the frantic convulsion as Caleb now not caring turned away with fearful eyes, this fear was primal, like a beasts roar scaring prey away

Caleb crawled with all his might glaring at the floor and as he crawledhe moved mere inches but as he did he felt the weight fall off him but not enough as he crawled he left a trail as he flayed his fingers raw ,Frantically his eyes started to now shut involuntary blackening to the reverberations hitting him ,temporarily losing consciousness he felt like he was falling into a sea's watery depths and suddenly waking from this his glazed eyes started to focus with there own azure glow, within deaths grip he grabbed a branch like a drowning man grabbing a lifeline ,he pulled forward letting out his sanguine breath and as the weight lightened ever so slightly but it was enough , he grabbed the horn and with a quick twist he threw the horn at the gem

The horn flew like a straight arrow, trajectory set and ready ,wistiling through the air it stuck true ,Eyes still blurred did not confirm the outcome but the crack of something rang out that chamber and the hissing of pressurised air did.

Relief washed over him and as the adrenaline faded his eyes rolled back and his head fell to the floo
