After the shared highs of the locker room and the shower, and now well satisfied, Stephen and Grace got dressed once more, and left the gym to start the short drive home.

Upon getting back on the road, Grace reached out for Stephen's hand, wrapping it around her own. Stephen smiled, looking over at her, and she blew a kiss as soon as she caught his eyes. Chuckling to himself, he noticed the time.

"Looks like it's past two thirty. Mom should be home already," he said casually. When Grace didn't respond, he looked over to see nerves back on her face.

"Grace? Are you ready?"

She gave an uneasy smile. "I think so," She replied somewhat anxiously.

"You'll be great. Don't worry." He leaned over to kiss the back of her hand, and then passed the rest of the time until home quizzing her on her background.

Sure enough, when they pulled into their driveway, his mom's car was parked out front. Stephen parked the car and turned off the ignition, before turning to Grace.

"Don't worry," he repeated. "Just be you. She'll love you."

Grace let out a big sigh, and then gave him a more confident smile. Together, they exited the car and made their way through the front door.

"Mom? Are you home?"

"In here, Stephen!" She yelled, coming from the living room.

Stephen kicked his shoes off and followed the direction of her voice. Before entering the living room, he stopped and turned to Grace. "Just wait here a second."

Grace just whispered back, "Okay, baby."

Stephen strode into the living room with his head held up and an easy smile on his face. Despite his own nerves at introducing the two most important women in his life, he had to put on a brave face for Grace's sake.@@
