Chapter 52: Young Master Mu Was Beaten By Gun Gun

Seeing the delighted look on his face, Fu Yi could not help but blab. “The butler said that Miss Gu put in a lot of effort in preparing the food.”

“Do you want a fight with me?” Qin Muchen did not look up but spoke coldly.

Fu Yi got the drift. “Young Master Mu, I will take my leave.”

Qin Muchen lowered his head to look at the exquisite lunch. He stared at it for a long time before he picked up the chopsticks to have lunch.

It tasted delicious.

Her culinary skills had not deteriorated.

“Gu Shinian, are you concerned for me or is this for something else?”

All of a sudden, this was important to him.

After ending a day of hard work, Qin Muchen put aside the pile of work and went home directly.

A group of people was still awaiting his instructions. They felt lost now that he had left.

“Fu Yi, why did Young Master Mu leave the office at such an early time?”

“He didn’t have the habit of leaving work on time.”

“We still need him to sign these documents.”

“Fu Yi, stop Young Master Mu.”

Fu Yi coughed slightly and was reminded of the meal box. He spoke with a straight face. “Young Master Mu went back home for dinner.”

But the group of people felt that he was just coming up with an excuse.

He was merely fooling them.

However, she had a companion.

Three years ago, she rescued a small Samoyed from the streets. To her surprise, the Samoyed still recognized her three years later.

Gu Shinian was giving Gun Gun a shower.

It ran around and played at the back garden today, looking very dirty.

The dog was being very naughty while she bathed it. It kept splashing water all over her.

Although Gu Shinian’s clothes were wet, she indulged the dog and patted its head gently. “Gun Gun, be good. Don’t play anymore. I will wash you clean.”

Gun Gun cocked its head, snuggling at her chest.

It looked untamed and cheeky.

When Qin Muchen entered the house, he was greeted by the bright smiles of the lady and the dog.

She had such a lovely smile on her face!

She would only direct that smile to Gun Gun!

But she refused to smile at him.

Qin Muchen realized that he was jealous of a dog!

Gu Shinian was startled by his presence. She looked up and saw the man by the door. Her lips moved slightly, but no words escaped her mouth. She went back to her task of brushing its fur.

Qin Muchen’s expression darkened.

It was fine that she could not bring herself to smile at him, but she did not even bother to look at him!

Qin Muchen walked forward, exuding a fearsome aura. All of a sudden, Gun Gun dashed out and blocked the way, standing in front of Gu Shinian. It barked twice toward him, looking awe-inspiring.

Qin Muchen could tell right away that the dog was guarding its owner!

It had only been one day and the dog was subdued by Gu Shinian?

Qin Muchen curled his lips, speaking in a low and deep voice. “I provided food, water and shelter for you. How dare you bark at me?”

“Woof, woof, woof, woof!”

Gun Gun looked ferocious.

It seemed that it had made up its mind to protect Gu Shinian.

Qin Muchen sneered, as he dug out his gun slowly. Gu Shinian stared in shock as he pointed the gun at its head.

He knitted his eyebrows, speaking in a low, menacing voice. “You can try barking at me again.”

Qin Muchen would really fire the gun.

This man was capable of anything.

Gu Shinian finally recovered from her shock. She stood up right away and was about to stop him when Gun Gun changed its direction and barked even more ferociously at her.
