Chapter 242 - Dreaming Before Sleep

At night, Bryana reads a fairy tale to Calvin and Sofia. She misses those who have lost attention from her for the past few days, even wants to accompany them to sleep but Dean doesn't allow it because he is worried that the scars from her C-section will get on the legs or hands of the two boys.

"Mom, when you come home, will the three of us sleep with us?" Sofia asked while Calvin was asleep.

"Not yet. He will sleep in the crib which may come tomorrow. Tomorrow Daddy and uncle Raymond will be busy designing a room for him," Bryana explained in a soft voice while brushing Sofia's hair.

"If now he is in the hospital and mommy is at home, it means that he will not drink milk. I'm also afraid that he will be kidnapped like mom and the others at that time," Sofia muttered, imagining that when she was taken to the hospital by Lauren and Louis with Calvin and her grandmother, she saw that her brother was very small and always placed in a glass tube.

"He drinks milk from mom's milk that has been taken and stored in the refrigerator. He will be fine there. There are nurses, there is a bodyguard, there is also aunty Monica and uncle Raymond who are now taking care of her," explained Bryana.

Sofia breathed a sigh of relief, then tilted her position to hug her mother carefully because she knew that her mother's stomach was still bandaged. In contrast to Calvin, who is aggressive when hugging, Sofia seems softer and less indecisive when she sleeps.

Until a few minutes, Bryana continued reading fairy tales to Sofia until she fell asleep. After that, she got out of bed and covered the little girl, then kissed her forehead. She immediately moved to her room because she had to take medicine and rest.

Celek...

Bryana entered the room and saw Dean was calling someone.

"Isn't he cranky?" Dean asked someone on the phone.

"...."

"Okay then, take good care of him. Tomorrow morning Jill and I will be there," said Dean then hung up the phone. he turned to look at Bryana who had just entered the room and walked over to him.

"Call who?" Bryan asked.

"Raymond. I'm worried about Aidyn, that's why I called him to ask how he was," explained Dean with a warm smile, walking over to Bryana after placing his smartphone on the table near the sofa.

Bryana sat on the edge of the bed, then touched her stomach which was still wrapped in bandages. She winced slightly in pain until she decided to lie down.

"Does your stomach hurt?" Dean asked worriedly.

"Yes, it still hurts a lot. Tomorrow morning you have to take me to the hospital early in the morning to change the bandage," she explained with an uncomfortable look.

dean sighed, then climbed onto the bed right beside Bryana. "Okay, tomorrow I'll take you because I also want to see Aidyn's condition again soon. An hour without looking at him feels like I miss him so much."

Bryana smiled and tilted her position so that she embraced Dean's chest. "You love him so much."

"Of course. I love him more than anything. I can't stop remembering his tiny body, his cute and funny face, even if he's always hungry for milk, after being full, he will sleep soundly," said Dean, imagining his baby.

Bryana sighed, then touched Dean's lips while looking at him intensely. she saw the happiness on her husband's face increasing since the birth of their baby, reminded him of Alex who had been acting normal when Calvin was born.

"Why?" Dean asked as he saw Bryana daydream.

"It's okay, I just remembered something," Bryana replied, stretching her body again, staring at the ceiling.

"Is something bothering you?" asked Dean.

"I just feel happy because this is the first time I've ever had a happy moment when I just gave birth because you care so much for our baby, take care of me... maybe if I wasn't your soul mate and I was still with Alex who was full of fakes, I would just be an unhappy wife," Bryana explained blankly. Unusual memories flashed through her mind.

"He's an idiot," Dean muttered.

"I'm the stupid one," Bryana said.

Dean tilted his position then wrapped his arms around Bryana's chest. He looked at his wife who no longer looked too pale because she had not cried too often. "Never remember your bitter things when you are with him. Now I am with you, and I make sure I will not make you taste the bitterness of a marriage. I'm loyal, I don't think so."

"Yes, I know that." Bryana smiled at Dean, then brought her face closer to him and kissed his lips gently. "I'm happy to have you."

"Me too." Dean kissed Bryana's lips back gently, his hand slowly squeezing her wife's chest. "It's getting bigger... Have you sucked your breast milk?" he asked.

"Tomorrow at the hospital," Bryana replied, removing Dean's hand from her chest and saying, "don't squeeze it, the milk will leak out because it's full."

"Really? Does it need to be reduced so it doesn't seep, wasted?" asked Dean.

Bryana silently glanced at Dean with horror, thinking what maybe her dashing husband would ask for her milk, reducing the milk ration for her baby.

"Don't tell me you want to suckle me!"

"Hahaha ... I'm just kidding, honey. You know I love Aidyn? that means I'm not going to reduce her milk rations!" Dean chuckled and pinched Bryana's high nose.

"You always pinch my nose," Bryana said, glancing at Dean.

"Because it's high and beautiful. And this nose goes down to Aidyn's nose. He will be a handsome man." Dean again embraced Bryana rather possessively, even kissing the shoulder to her face with his hand that moved mischievously to touch his wife's chest. Ah, I hope he doesn't ask to be served. Could be the more disastrous condition of his wife who has not recovered.

"If you touch my stomach and I'm in pain, I'll kick you!" Bryana shouted warning the spoiled Dean.

"Usually you are always wild, now you're protesting," said Dean.

"Because my body hurts," Bryana explained.

"Ow, what a pity..." Dean kissed Bryana's cheek again until it moved to her forehead, and tossed her hair. "You have sacrificed a lot to be the perfect wife. I promise, once you're healed and Aidyn is healthy and able to travel, I'll take you on vacation."

"Where are you going on holiday?" Bryana asked, remembering Dean's love of natural places, not city tours filled with grandeur and modernity.

"Where is that I will think from now on. I want us to vacation for a while and feel comfortable living, away from people who don't like us. If necessary, only the five of us," explained Dean with thoughts filling his mind.

"Five?" Bryana looked speechless.

"Of course, because we have three children."

"I never thought I'd have so many kids," Bryana muttered with an amused smile, but she was pleased with Sofia's presence who became like her biological child.

"I think adding one more child is not a bad idea. I want a girl who looks like you," Dean said again dreamily.

Bryana glanced at Dean in horror and thought that she should start a contraceptive program once she could have sex with her husband again.
