Chapter 380 - Turn To The Grave

Bryana is not calm at all. She even failed to concentrate while undergoing gymnastics, so she chose to wait for Dean in the living room by sitting on the couch while eating an unripe mango. The woman looks ready when her husband comes home, will immediately take her to the grave as planned yesterday. She wore long white dress overalls combined with a black blazer and sunglasses and a kind of black veil that she had not worn and was still beside her.

"Bryana," someone called.

Bryana turned and saw that someone was Lily who looked like she had just finished taking a shower. The middle-aged woman looked fresh in a blue dress combined with a gray top and curled her long hair.

"Mom," said Bryana.

"You're so relaxed here," Lily muttered because she rarely saw Bryana relaxing in the living room and preferred to relax in another room.

"I'm waiting for Dean, Mom," Bryana said, bending her face. "I am worried ... he still had a lot of pain in his legs, but instead he was desperate to go to see Kareen. I'm afraid Kareen will do things to him again."

Lily sighed, then sat down beside Bryana about half a meter away. "I didn't think Kareen could be like that either. she is very cruel as a woman. She's not like the Kareen I've ever known," she said with a tinge of sadness on her face.

"She wants to have Dean too much, not because of love," Bryana said sadly remembering when she would be poisoned by Kareen during pregnancy, would be made to fall down the stairs, be hurt with Dean, and finally Dean almost died because of Kareen too. "Love makes comfortable, not even make the loved one will die."

"You're right. Kareen wants Dean so much that she doesn't want Dean to be with you. She doesn't understand what love is." Lily rubbed Bryana's shoulder. "You must be patient. Just pray that Dean will be okay."

"Yes, mom." Brian nodded steadfastly.

Tinn... in...

A car horn honked from the gate. Bryana turned towards the wide-open door and saw that it was Dean's car that came but stopped in front of the gate.

"He's home, Mom," said Bryana with a relieved smile.

"He must be fine because Dany always looks after him," Lily said smiling.

"I met him first," said Bryana.

Lily nodded, letting Bryana walk out of the house to greet Dean. The middle-aged woman smiled warmly at her daughter-in-law who slowly passed away. "She's like Clarissa, always worried about Dean, looks so affectionate ... I hope there won't be any more trouble in their household," she said hopefully.

Arriving at the yard, Bryana was approached by Dany who walked from outside the gate, and also Aidyn who ran from the garden next to the house.

"Ma'am, Mr. Dean wants to go straight to the grave so he doesn't bother getting up and down the car," said Dany.

"Then I'll take the bag for a moment," said Bryana, about to go back into the house, but Aidyn stopped her by holding onto her dress. "Why, son?" She asked looking down.

"Want to go with mommy," replied Aidyn in a spoiled tone in her cute voice.

"Well, you go to the car with uncle Dany first. Mommy took the bag for a moment," Bryana shouted, looking down at Aidyn.

Dany immediately carried Aidyn while Bryana walked into the house to get what she needed to bring.

"Are you going up front or back?" Dany asked, holding Aidyn in his arms, walking towards the car that was still outside the gate.

"Front. I want to see uncle drive," Aidyn replied.

"Why is that?" asked Danny again.

"So I can drive too," Aidyn answered seriously looking at Dany.

Dany smiled and then kissed Aidyn's cheek. "You are only allowed to drive when you are an adult. If you want to study now, just use a mini car. Tomorrow, ask Daddy to buy," he exclaimed.

"OK," Aidyn said with a nod and his gaze was so serious that his brows furrowed. He was very serious like his father when he wanted something.

When she got her bag and hood, Bryana returned to the car and was relieved that Dean was okay. She sat in the passenger seat with her husband while her son sat in the front with Dany who had fastened the seat belt for safety.

"How was it, could she melt?" Bryana asked.

"I don't know . . . she's so stubborn," Dean replied irritably.

Bryana looked at Dean who looked uncomfortable. her husband wore a black shirt combined with gray pants combined with a white shirt and blue coat and combed his hair with the haircut style as usual. Looks charming, but not equivalent to the tinge of sadness that was so clearly visible on his face.

"What happened? Did she hurt you again?" Briana asked seriously.

"I just feel sorry for her, I'm also annoyed that she doesn't want to try to stop thinking about me," Dean replied, imagining Kareen.

"Hopefully she can change her mind..we just need to be patient, because she is also undergoing treatment, and all of that takes a process ... not all at once to be cured," Bryana exclaimed while rubbing Dean's shoulder.

"I've talked to her a lot but she's just silent... I asked her to hate me because I only hurt her continuously. After all, I couldn't love her back….I hope she can hate me soon and stop wanting me," Dean said then rested his head on Bryana's shoulder. "I'm sad ... why are there people like that because of me? Am I wrong if I choose you?"

"You're not wrong, honey. Because if you choose to be with her but you don't love her, she will only get hurt and will not be happy...I'm sure she will find new love in her heart when she is healed and back to normal, opening her heart to other men," Bryana said confidently while stroking Dean's hand which was in her lap.

"You don't hold a grudge against her anymore?" asked Dean.

"No," Bryana replied then said again, "although I'm so afraid that she will do bad things to you again, but I know she is because she is shackled in his obsession. Rehab is the right place for her, not a prison that will stress her out."

Dean smiled glancing at Bryana who was very kind although sometimes wild and spoiled. "You are kind, cute, fierce, you are like bewitching me every time to fall in love with you."

"Don't talk about it now. There's Dany, there's Aidyn," Bryana whispered, glancing at him but his eyes were on Dany and Aidyn who were focused on looking ahead. The bodyguard and the little employer were busy chatting about driving procedures.

"They are busy chatting, they won't care about our conversation," said Dean, then touched Bryana's stomach. "When is your schedule for a pregnancy check-up?"

"Maybe the day after tomorrow or tomorrow" Bryana replied. "I forgot the exact date."

"Are you sure you don't want to know the gender until it's born?" asked Dean again.

"I'm sure. I want a surprise," Bryana replied.

Dean sighed, rubbing Bryana's tummy covered in clothes. "I hope, you won't be disappointed if it's a baby boy...I still accept and will not expect another baby girl because I feel sorry to see you pregnant again and again. Having three sons, means we will have three daughters-in-law. Daughters-in-law are also our children. So, don't be too sorry when our baby is a boy."

"I know that. You take it easy. The most important thing is that it is healthy." Bryana smiled reassuringly, then kissed Dean gently on the cheek. She said she would be ashamed of Dany, now she's even offered up....
