Chapter 468: Fifth World: Personal Time With The CEO

While Wen Qinxi was being lured out of the barrier by Miyu Ren, Qie Ranzhe was spat out of the portal almost rolling on the ground. He stood upright restoring his expressionless yet intimidating face with black calamity on his side.

The only sound was coming from the rings spinning with a shing sound as they hovered on either side of Qie Ranzhe. He could feel a disturbance in the air so he closed his eyes paying attention to where the portal would open from.

A barely audible tone that closely resembled the sound of electric sparks caught his attention. He ran over to the east where the sound was coming from and as soon as that portal opened the two rings shot out towards Qie Anzhie cutting off both of his arms.

Qie Anzhie was taken by surprise as his body tumbled to the ground. He wasn't expecting this which meant he had no time to defend himself.

A pool of blackish-red blood seeped from the wounds and his mouth as he grimaced in pain.

His legs moved subtly as though he was trying to get up but an ever so familiar sword appeared on his chest preventing him from getting up. His older brother's face soon appeared in his line of vision making him chuckle with great difficulty.

An unsightly amount of blood flowed out of his mouth making Qie Ranzhe frown a little. "Ha-ha da-dage, yo-you finally.... ave..... avenged our..... precious father. He, he would be proud..... haha *cough *cough," said Qie Anzhie taking short breaths.

Qie Ranzhe had black calamity move up to the man's throat and said, "I hated him and I might have killed him too but you beat me to it..... The one I am avenging is my mother. She treated you with the uttermost respect but what did you do?"

"Oh, that bitch.... ha, ha *cough *cough.... she was good, good at pretending. Just-just to sa-ve face," he said with his vision turning black.

"If you had only killed him I wouldn't have cared. I suffered worse things under his tyranny but my mother..... for that I can't in good conscience let you live on," said Qie Ranzhe as black calamity slowly plunged into Qie Anzhie's neck.

Qie Anzhie stretched his hand towards Qie Ranzhe as he smiled warmly calling out, "Dage," before it slowly fell back down with his head severed from his torso.

Qie Ranzhe had a ball of fire appear on his hand and said, "The fact that I won't let your body rot in the wild is merciful enough. Consider yourself lucky."

With that said he set alight Qie Anzhie body before drawing an array to cleanse his soul of all that resentment and dark Qi, he accumulated when he was alive. He wouldn't want someone using his brother to do further harm to innocent people.

He silently watched as the body burnt to ashes that is until the earth beneath him trembled accompanied by a beastly roar. He could sense that some ghastly beast had been unleashed upon the mortal realm in the Zhao sect to be exact.

"Lin Lin!" he thought before vanishing into thin air heading for the Zhao sect.

Meanwhile, in the underwater realm, the once crystal clear water free of pollution was now tainted by the agitated sediments, scattered rubble and faint hints of blood. The army of yao didn't seem to be fairing well against this villain who had no better use of his time.

A stabbing pain pierced Wen Qinxi's heart looking at this devastating scene. Over the past worlds, he had to experience tragic things but this was to a whole new level. What made things worse was the fact that he didn't have Qie Ranzhe around for emotional support making this even harder to deal with.

A murderous storm arose from his underbelly as it swept away the helpless feeling fogging his brain. He was tired of being pushed around by Qie Ranzhe's figment of imagination.

He should have been cosying up with the sect leader before this world ends and they go back to their real lives. This demon king was seriously eating into his personal time with the CEO.

The system felt something was off with Wen Qinxi that it decided to step aside and light candles for this ancestor that was about to be turned into mincemeat. If there is one thing the system figured after interacting with Wen Qinxi for so long is that you can screw with him all you want but don't you ever mess with his personal time with Qie Ranzhe.

That would earn one a bucket load of ass-whooping and believe this system it's not just empty threats. And right now this demon king was ruining that especially when Wen Qinxi didn't get to spend as much time with Qie Ranzhe as in other worlds.

While the system was finding a rock to hide under, Wen Qinxi found he was on the brink of losing his mind with the atmosphere taking a drastic turn. The disturbed waters suddenly became calm with a massive chilling aura coming from Wen Qinxi.

"You want me that bad then I will come out..... only if you let her go," said Wen Qinxi in an arrogant tone that could anger the haughtiest of people.

Miyu Ren felt a searing excitement throughout his body like he had finally met his match. A sly grin appeared on his face eyeing Zhao Zhi with a hard to describe emotion. The cowardly fish was gone replaced by a brazen soul emitting such a damning aura. He couldn't wait to fight him and see what he got.

Without thinking much he roughly pushed the queen away and said, "Now come out and let's play."

Wen Qinxi wasn't messing around. He stepped out and multiple whirlpools formed around him as an inexplicable power surged within him. He was a descendant of the royal blood and this bloodline wasn't in name only. This was the reason why the demon king wanted this bloodline in the first place. It was like tapping into an infinite stream of power drawn from the powerful ancestral line.

Though he knew they were powerful, Miyu Ren hadn't personally experienced it. This is why he was so excited to exchange pointers with this version of Zhao Zhi.

Wen Qinxi was angered by that psycho smile plastered on Miyu Ren's face so much so that he sent the whirlpools towards him turning them to ice along the way. Miyu Ren didn't see this coming with his dark shadow rushing to break apart the ice shards.
