Chapter 380: Fourth World: Wedding disaster

Thirty minutes before the wedding hijacking, Wen Qinxi was straightening out his suit jacket in front of the full-body mirror while Casio kept snapping pictures like an amateur photographer. Ting-ge couldn't take it anymore so he confiscated the camera while scolding him, "When did you decide to be a photographer. Stick to what you know." He casually tossed the camera on the bed before fixing his bow tie.

"What's your problem. Xin-ge doesn't mind," replied Casio grabbing the camera before aiming the lens at Su Xin, "Xin-ge, you don't mind, right?"

Wen Qinxi faced him with a charming smile and made a finger gun gesture posing for the camera.

"Wah.... so handsome," said Casio while reviewing his best shot yet. After the car accident, he had to pick up another hobby to get over the trauma hence he picked up photography.

While Wen Qinxi was casually fixing his hair there was a sudden knock at the door and a sweet milky voice that could only belong to Qie Xieling followed. "Dad, Nana wants to come in. I told her it's a boy's only room but she still won't leave," said Qie Xieling blocking his grandma's path.

"We'll leave first," said Ting-ge unwilling to offend the great goddess, "You, let's go." He then proceeded to drag the aspiring photographer out of the room.

Casio was unwilling, he wanted to snap a shot of the in-laws but he was forcibly dragged out. The two bowed before Madam Qie with their tails tucked in-between their legs. She stared at them blankly but to the two men, that look was extremely vicious so they ran off like their pants were lit on fire.

Madam Qie sauntered in her expression brimming with joy. Behind her was Li Meimei dressed in a pink women's suit and a dashing taper fade cut. Wen Qinxi was glad he had no bridesmaids otherwise they would all be bent by her.

Qie Xieling walked over to his dad and made him sit down marking the beginning of a thorough inspection. He lightly fixed his dad's crew cut while Madam Qie chattered incessantly. She was still dissatisfied with her son-in-law wearing white so she brought over a red suit to try and convince him.

"It's not a flipping funeral, Xin-er. How about you do this for your new mum, okay?" she pled with him while hanging the suit on the closet door.

"Yes Xin-ge, do you know how hard she worked last night to have this shipped here? When she found out your suit was white, she wailed on the phone to the designer," explained Li Meimei while sitting next to him. Madam Qie had employed her as her support for a fee of course.

"And whose fault was that?" he said staring at the culprit who was currently fiddling with his hair.

Qie Xieling felt a little guilty. He was the one that took a picture of the suit and his grandmother accidentally stumbled upon it on Qie Xieling's cellphone. None were spared. She even went after Qie Ranzhe and swapped his black suit without his knowledge.

"What do they think we are doing here? Throwing a funeral?" were her words at that time.

Unfortunately for her, Qie Xieling hid his dad's suit in advance when he found out Nana was committing suit heists in broad daylight. This was one of the fundamental reasons the wedding was delayed.

Wen Qinxi succumbed under pressure and agreed. In all honesty, he didn't care what he was wearing as long as Qie Ranzhe thought it was handsome then nothing else mattered.

Just like this, Wen Qinxi was donned a red suit with black studs on his ears. As soon as she entered the room she was excited looking him up and down like a fangirl.

"Lin Lin, hurry up and tell your daddy will be a bit late," she said shoving Qie Xieling out of the room before taking out a compact powder case. Wen Qinxi instantly had a bad premonition and so he ran away from her.

"Xin-ge, just a little bit. It will look good for the camera. Look," said Li Meimei taking out lipstick from her bag, "I even brought crimson lipstick.... oh, you know what would have been great? A veil."

Three black lines appeared on Wen Qinxi's face as he replied, "You are doing this on purpose, aren't you?"

Madam Qie was easily influenced so she said, "A veil wouldn't work in this case but maybe when we return I will dress him and Ran-er in ancient style wedding attires for a family portrait. Wah... you will make a pretty bride." She was already picturing it in her mind while chasing after him with face powder.

"Oh god no," was all he could say secretly lighting a candle for himself.

While these women persisted in powdering Wen Qinxi's face, his wedding was getting hijacked by a girl in a red dress. Qie Xieling had just arrived downstairs and found someone who wasn't his dad walking down the aisle with a veil covering their face.

Qie Ranzhe's brows were furrowed about to send Machu to handle it when Qie Xieling appeared out of nowhere and kicked whoever it was on the shin. The sudden attack took Zhao Huangzhi by surprise. She yelped and a melodious female voice emerged from under the thick veil.

"Ouch," she said holding her shin while turning around to see who had the balls, "You fuckin brat. Why did you kick me?"

The guests gasped in horror as Machu ran over to drag Zhao Huangzhi but Qie Xieling pushed him away and took hold of Zhao Huangzhi's bouquet. He then began to hit her with it.

The scene turned chaotic. On one hand, Zhao Huangzhi was screaming her hair dishevelled with flower petals sticking out. On the other, Qie Xieling was being held back by Casio and Ting-ge while cursing her out like a sailor. The kid was small but surprisingly had a lot of strength when angered.

These chaotic sounds had Madam Qie and Li Meimei looking out of the window in a matter of seconds. Wen Qinxi had already bolted out of the room rushing over like a raging bull. He was most definitely going to break his rule of beating women. That woman sabotaged his wedding twice. If he didn't hit her today then his name is not Wen Qinxi.

As soon as Qie Ranzhe spotted Su Xin coming, he walked over to stop him. This was the reason they had subordinates so what was the point of making Su Xin's hands dirty especially on their wedding day.

"Baby, calm down. They will take care of it. See, Lin Lin beat the shit out of her for you," he said blocking Su Xin's path.

Wen Qinxi was angered to the point of seeing red. He was irrational and impulsive trying to get past Qie Ranzhe. "Don't baby me, that fucker needs to die," yelled Wen Qinxi almost succeeding to bypass Qie Ranzhe.

Qie Ranzhe was too focused on calming Su Xin that he didn't notice his mother charging towards the commotion like a wrestler rushing into the ring to unleash the wrath of god.

Men can't beat women, it's taboo but when women beat other women it might be forgivable. Madam Qie was the least bit polite slapping her so hard that the crowd quieted down. That slap was so loud that it echoed the entire island making the guests draw in a breath of cold air. Zhao Huangzhi instantly passed out from that one slap.

"Tie her up," roared Madam Qie. It wasn't certain who she was talking to so everyone around her hastened their steps to do as she said. The passed out Zhao Huangzhi was tied up and her mouth shut by durable duct tape.
