Chapter 367: Fourth World: Game Over

A cloud of smoke appeared in the distance and there was no need to guess what had happened. Someone had blown up the Kai Mansion.

Qie Ranzhe was about to instruct Machu to head over to the Kai Mansion when he noticed a neon green sports car fly past them coming from that direction. One look at it and he could recognize who it was.

A week ago his naughty husband purchased the exact same car cash. At the time he thought it was an early onset of a midlife crisis but it turns out it was for this. While this thought was racing in his mind, five black SUVs and three motorcycles flashed past them in pursuit. "Shit! Follow them," commanded Qie Ranzhe taking out his handgun ready to rescue his lover.

He had screwed over Su Xin on purpose. That's because he wanted to teach his husband a lesson for doing things without him but his plan went to shit. He wanted to storm the Kai Mansion and violently kick the door down to rescue his sweetheart but who would have thought Su Xin would blow the entire place up and escape in a speed chase.

***

Wen Qinxi was obviously unaware that the person who screwed him over was Qie Ranzhe as they sped down the road. They had blown out half of the Kai Mansion as a diversion but who would have thought Kai Zheng would catch his shadow outside the window.

"Su! Xin!" was what the man yelled at that moment selling him out.

Soon after Kai Zi also peeked out of the window when his brother said that and sure enough Su Xin was outside staring back at them with an arrogant smile. "You fucker! I am going to fuckin kill you!" were the words spat out by Kai Zi but of course, Wen Qinxi didn't hear it running off to the chaotic main entrance.

A neon green sports car swerved before abruptly braking in front of them. After that, they were pursued by the enemy. Casio might be a nutcase but his driving skills were exceptional giving them a head start.

But despite his god-given talent, Kai Zi's men had been threatened with their lives by their boss and had to capture Su Xin dead or alive so they caught up at some point. A black SUV rear-ended them like a beast as they reached downtown. Casio checked his rearview mirror as he pressed down on the accelerator nearly missing two cars in the intersection.

The SUV wasn't as lucky colliding into one of the cars with a loud bang. The two vehicles drove straight into a clothing store shattering the display glass in a chaotic scene. Casio made a sharp turn into a corner while Li Meimei passed a shotgun to Su Xin.

"Open it!" yelled Wen Qinxi while loading the shotgun. Li Meimei didn't delay pressing down the button for the sunroof. Wen Qinxi stood up ready to shoot at their pursuers.

When another of Kai Zi's vehicles appeared they were met by a man pointing a shotgun at them.

Wen Qinxi felt his heart pulsing in his finger holding the trigger but he didn't hesitate. As soon as he fired a shot their car was suddenly struck causing it to veer to the left side. Wen Qinxi's entire body was jerked sideways causing him to lose grip of the shotgun. This also meant he missed his target.

Livid, he cursed at the vehicle that ruined his shot. That car was most likely one of Kai Zi's because it began to pursue them as well. Wen Qinxi got back in the car and Li Meimei passed him a handgun. She might joke around half the time but when it comes to such things she didn't mess around. It was ride or die and she knew that too well.

The two cars caught up and sandwiched the jelly bean of a car from either side but just as they wanted to ram the sports car, Casio stepped hard on the brake and changed the gear to reverse before stepping on the accelerator. It's a good thing it was at night which meant there wasn't a lot of cars on the road.

It was too late for the two vehicles to stop in time after the green sports car slipped away so they collided with each other but the damage wasn't serious. Just when they restarted their cars to go after Su Xin once more, a black van suddenly rammed into them forcing them off the road.

"Hahaha.... take that you assholes!" bellowed Ting-ge before reversing backwards. The two drivers couldn't understand why Ting-ge was gloating so much but they soon found out when a flash grenade was thrown at them.

A loud explosion resounded in the empty streets but that was the least of Wen Qinxi's worries because they were two motorcycles hot on their tail shooting at them. "Gege, you didn't even get what you want but Kai Zi wants to end you this bad," complained Li Meimei after a bullet pierced through the rear window shattering it to pieces.

"It's inevitable. One of us has to die," replied Wen Qinxi before turning around to shoot at the motorcyclist. How he missed the lewd underwear. Maybe it would have saved him twice. Unfortunately for him, today wasn't his day.

This was because while he was too busy firing shots outside the window, their vehicle was suddenly rammed from the side out of the blue causing their car to flip over. Wen Qinxi's body was tossed around twice before the car came to a stop with a loud bang. He honestly didn't expect such a turn of events.

His eyes descended into darkness with the words game over echoing in his mind. This is why he never liked GTA type of games because he could never win. If he had known he wouldn't have done this by himself. He would have tried to convince Qie Ranzhe to help him out but there was no point in crying over spilt milk.

While Wen Qinxi was off to dreamland, Kai Zi finally showed up at the scene with a sly smile. He strolled over to the flipped over vehicle gun in hand. From afar he could see three unconscious people lying on the ground but he knew they were supposed to be four so he demanded, "Find the fourth one!" with a terrifying deadly glare.

"Yes sir," replied one of the man before dashing away to make a phone call.

A vile laugh escaped Kai Zi's throat as he crouched down in front of the unconscious Su Xin. "You think you are fuckin smart, don't you? Let's see who will save you now," said Kai Zi before slapping Su Xin's face twice.

Just as the second slap reached Su Xin's face a familiar voice spoke startling Kai Zi.

"I will," said a husky voice brimming with a deadly aura. It was obvious how this situation was going to end. It was game over for Kai Zi.
