Eleven hostile presences appeared, and these numbers were out of their league, not because of their ability to fly, but because of their total cultivation. These eleven were at least in the General Spirit Realm.

The "Eleven Squads," as they were colloquially known, lived up to their names and were the face of the Elite Army First Brigade. Not just like that, they were also in the third strongest brigade in the Elite Army.

They wore similar armor and scabbards. Their facial expressions, however, were the only thing they had in common. Some of them were smiling seriously, another one was sad, another three were bored, and some were angry. However, despite that, they saw the situation as more of a competition, where their lives were at stake, instead of a fight for the land.

"We are going to die here." In a slightly irritated tone, one Elite Squad Leader said. However, as the others noticed, they just hushed him.

"Your cowardice has no place in this situation." He was shut down in silence, and just went behind them and tried to recover his confidence.

Meanwhile, the other commanders of the brigade in this invasion were below them. Their smiles were a mix of delight and smugness as if they weren't troubled by their presence.

They started flying, feeling unbothered by what was about to happen. And just as they prepared their weapons, their mocks filled their egos as they expressed them at the same time.

"You do know that we are not into small-fries? Just prove that you are worth our attention." Xinjuan Qin stated in a playful tone, with her one eyebrow raised as if she was trying to sneer at them.

Then, Shan Sun added to Xinjuan's words with a smile. "Sister Qin, you don't have to talk to them, ehe." A smile came from him as well, while he was embracing Xinjuan's white legs.

"Stick is prepared. I don't have time for discussions. Let's fight and see who is the victor among us." Cai Xie said.

"Hmmm... What a noble appearance you have. You all have similar outfits, but does your performance have any effects on this situation?" Bhulan asked.

"I see that all of you are at least competent. I should not underestimate you." Qiao Fang commented.

And as they continued to talk, the Eleven Squads could only clench their fists. "How dare you try to belittle us? We are not going to be defeated by some invaders! We are supported by the future ambassador of the Mortal Heaven!"

"Indeed. If you are just talking or mocking, be sure that you have the skill to kill us. If not, then you should stay low and let us do our jobs."

"It is what it is. Should even a kid on your continent fight? What a lame government you have there."

"Shut up!" Shan Sun shouted in infuriation as he felt attacked by their comments. And just as the war below continued, one of the squad leaders didn't hesitate to launch and start their attacks.

"These were the cards. I have already sent the eleven squad leaders, but I still don't know what will happen to the spies that were sent while the ruckus on the walls was ongoing." Adam mumbled while looking at a small map that was created just after their reformation.

"Senior Brother Lukros managed to pinpoint the weakness in our defense. Even without the need for traps, since some of the enemies could fly, he managed to maximize the use of our number. I should not let him down, and the Queen as well."

Adam bit his lips as he pushed back his eyeglasses and then pulled out a horn from his pocket. "This will be the last resort, reinforcement."

Adam walked out of his tent and then slashed every enemy soldier that would stop his walk. He was going straight to the backline, preparing to order their prepared soldiers for the grand attack. But Adam was not expecting another massive explosion at the walls, and his eyes widened in fear as he widened his senses.

"This aura... this presence... at least at the King Spirit Realm!"

Adam almost panicked, but after a second, he was able to recompose himself and face the situation calmly.

"Fuck! I should use this immediately."

Adam took out the small horn and then blew on it, creating a loud and long warning wind sound. This sound reached the other camps, letting them know that the war had started. And just like that, they cut their numbers in half and sent them into the main camp of the defense, Fort Ling.

"I should also contact someone who could fight this person." Adam calmly decided, then took out a jade slip and made contact with their main quarters, the palace of the Queen.

[Lucas's Point of View]

This sound... I could hear this loud elephant sound. However, despite being warned to move, I still couldn't discern how to move.

I knew that I had fallen into a coma. That was obvious, as, from my last use of magique Qi, I almost drained myself and almost resorted to using my lifespan. But, what should I do now? I am blocked again.

This was different from my consciousness inside the God of Magic's control. Something was blocking me for sure this time, and it was probably the new system in me.

My dantian-core... This is shit. I just felt that I was becoming useless and powerless.

Lukros had already arrived at Port Sun, and just as he got there, he immediately looked for Quatro. For some urgent issues, Quatro met with him immediately.

"What is it, brother Lukros? You seemed to be bothered." Quatro stated as he hovered over Lukros.

Lukros was calmly standing outside Quatro's quarters, and as Quatro approached him in a human form, he sent him his greetings.

"Brother Quatro, the war has started. But, I am having second thoughts about whether we should really help them. Master was still not awake, and making this much effort would not benefit us. They are on their own." Lukros deliberately stated with a firm tone.

Quatro closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Quatro had narrowed eyes and a bald head in his human form at the time. His height was just average, at around five feet and five inches.

Wearing a proper red robe, Quatro tapped Lukros's shoulders.

"We still didn't know what was on Master's head, but from what I know about him, he would not let his land be taken away from him. Since he stayed here, let us just assume that he was taking this land as his own. Shall we?" Quatro calmly suggested.

Lukros let out a frustrated sigh and responded. "I know that we should think about that, but I couldn't convince myself."

"Don't convince yourself, just ignore it. We will just continue with the rest since you have built a huge wall in Port Ling. So, let us just say that you and I have different purposes in helping them." Quatro stated.

And as he continued, he gave Lukros a convincing look. "You helped them because you thought that it would convince you that this was the best decision. However, I am helping them because I felt it and I am also intrigued by their lives. Being taken away from me is bothering."

Lukros scoffed. "Okay, I already get it."

"By the way, there were people that had secretly entered the Eastern Continent, using the war on the coastlines as a distraction. I wasn't able to detect them since they were good at hiding their presence."

Quatro had his eyebrows furrowed as he heard that news from Lukros. He then gave it a thought and remembered something he should do.

"Brother Pilitro was waiting for a fight, but he was forced to train some soldiers that were boosting their cultivation."

"You should tell him to fight. He was longing for it, and that was understandable for a Viking Ghoul such as himself." Lukros jumped into the ridiculousness of their topic.

"Then, I will visit him. Please fill my spot and try to organize them. They are openhearted to my orders, and since we have the same position, just show them your identification."

Lukros nodded. "Okay, take care."

Quatro then started flying and changed back into his monster form. And as his energy was not suppressed anymore, since being in a human form suppressed his potential, he flew in a fast manner, going straight to the place where Pilitro was.

In the Central Region, Pilitro, in human form, was currently training soldiers in an open field under the previous Xiao family's manor. However, his attention was taken as a huge shadow appeared in the sky.

He instinctively looked up and saw Quatro, flying in his monster form. It would obviously alarm people below, but as he hid some of his presence, seemingly making himself invisible, the soldiers below thought something was unusual with the shadows.

"Brother Pilitro, are you willing to fight for this continent?"

Excitement filled his system as soon as he heard it, and without having second thoughts, he changed into his human form and left the training field.
