When Mu Lingxi finally had some time to think, she immediately looked for her cat.

"Where is Janus?? I didn't see him?!"

She asked her friends in alarmed.

She passed out right after touching the lady so she did not know what happened next.

So when she recalled not seeing Janus when she woke up, she was instantly alarmed.

"Ohh... Don't worry about your cat. He was busy eating over there."

Chan Gu assured her as he pointed his finger at the corner. There they saw Janus busy pigging out.

So they no longer have to travel from one portal to another and they came straight back at Magus Academia.

Another factor is the magical beast that they were using.

Schoolmaster Yin specifically rented a beast that was suitable for traveling. He even chose the one that bost the greatest speed.

That is why it did not take them long to reach their destination.

"Su Yan, Schoolmaster Yin wants to meet you."

Fan Lei said right after they descended on the ground.

"He wants you to come with him to his office. He said that he wishes to discuss something with you"

He added before they went on separate ways.

Fan Lei and the others went straight back to the boy's dormitory while Mu Lingxi had no other choice but to head at the Schoolmaster Yin's office since she was told to.

It did not take long for her to arrive at the door of Schoolmaster Yin's office since it was not her first time coming to his office.

Mu Lingxi knocked on the wooden door to indicated her arrival.

"Come in"

Schoolmaster Yin's warm and welcoming voice came from the other side of the door.

Mu Lingxi opened the door slowly before she steps inside the room and stands at the side of the entrance.

Although this won't be her first time visiting the place, it still felt new for her. Since it will be her first time coming to this place alone.

She was too shy to it down right away so she just stood next to the door, near the door frame.

When she looked around the place, the item that was placed at the center of the table get her attention.

It was no other than the ancient chalice that they procure from Sanguine Tundra

"Silly boy. what are you doing standing over there? Come, have a seat."

Schoolmaster Yin invited her when he saw that she was just standing next to the entrance. The corner of his mouth quirked up as he observed how shy Mu Lingxi was.

With Schoolmaster Yin urging her, Mu Lingxi relented and seated to the chair across the table.

Up until now, she was still unsure why Schoolmaster Yin was asking for her presence.

But Schoolmaster did not let her wonder about it for a long time. Because apparently he also doesn't have much time to waste.

Schoolmaster Yin is not someone who use to beat around the bush.

So without wasting any more of their time he came straight to the point and asked Mu Lingxi about what he was dying to know.

"You told me that you heard the girl inside that chalice talking to you right?"

Schoolmaster Yin asked her as soon as she settled herself comfortably at the chair.

"Yes, it was."

She nodded her head as she answered him

"Can you tell what she told you?"

"Nothing much, she was just asking for help. That's all"

Mu Lingxi told him everything without hiding anything. Besides, she does not see the point of why she would have to hide about it?

Since it does not look like confidential at all.

"I see. You can go now."

"Err???"

Mu Lingxi did not expect that Schoolmaster Yin asked her to personally come to his office just to ask that.

If that is all that he needs to know, then why don't he just asked her back when they were at the back of the beast.

Why did he even ask her to meet him at his office? As if they will going to discuss something important.

Does it mean that she came all the way here just to talk about that?

The time she used to walk all the way to Schoolmaster Yin's office is longer than the time she used to spend inside the office.

But of course, no matter how frustrated she was about it, she cannot tell Schoolmaster Yin what she was .running in her mind

So even though she still can't understand what's going on in Schoolmaster Yin's mind for asking her to come to his office, she had no other choice but to leave.

"Oh yeah, by the way. Tell your friend to come here tomorrow morning so I can check what I can do for his spiritual beast."

Schoolmaster Yin added before Mu Lingxi could step out of the room.

"Sure thing, Schoolmaster Yin."

She said before closing the door behind her. Then she hurriedly made her way to the boy's dormitory.
