Early the next day, all of the students of Magus Academia were gathered at the school's square.Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.novelhall.com for visiting.

Mu Lingxi and her dorm mates went there together. As their seniors, Long Yue and Long Fuzi also tagged along. Other older students were also present, curious to see new faces of the fresh buds accepted in the Magus Academia.

On the elevated platform erected at the very front of the square, the teaching faculty was towering over the thousand students' populace.

"Everyone, old and new students alike, welcome to Magus Academia!"

It was the schoolmaster, Yin Shun, who spoke and in an instant, the students quieted down. Waiting for what Schoolmaster Yin was about to say.

The school master's voice was neither loud nor soft. It was as if he was talking casually but everyone on the square can hear his voice clearly as if he was just talking next to them. Every single word he said seems to travel through the air going directly in their ears.

Every speaker during these kinds of gatherings sure has talent in prolonging their speech using thousands and thousands of words even though they were just saying the same thing.

Promoting camaraderie, pointing out the importance of studying diligently and motivating everyone to strive harder towards success.

An hour or so had passed before the welcoming speech came to an end but every student had to remain on their seat as it was expected from them.

Mu Lingxi can't help but reminisce about her past life in her previous world where she had to endure all kinds of boring ceremonies and motivational speeches like this during class graduation or school gatherings and recognitions.

Where she had to clap robotically and nod from time to time as part of the script no matter how fed up she was to it.

"The student emblem that was given after your entrance examination corresponds to your current magical realm.  Red students will be taking the same class, yellow students will be in the same class, the same goes for orange students.  Meaning students with the same color of emblems will be going the same class until they breakthrough and move to higher realms in the future."

This was a known fact for the old students, so this explanation was only for the sake of the new students.

Most of the lessons taught on a daily basis are general knowledge so it does not matter whatever level they were currently at.

It was like an introduction class for the amateur level while the higher levels present in the same class will have a chance to sharpen their knowledge and skill regarding the same topic since they will have prior knowledge and experience about it.

This in return will help them build a strong foundation making their future progress towards higher realms faster.

Warlocks and sorceress can be divided into seven realms. These are the Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet realm. These realms are also subdivided into five levels. From amateur, intermediate, professional, senior and last is master level. This is in progressive order.

Students of Magus Academia usually graduates after reaching the master level of the Green Realm.  Once someone reached the level of master in Blue Realm, they were already qualified to apply for a teacher position.

Most of the teachers at Magus Academia are warlocks and sorceress in the Blue realm. Only Schoolmaster  Yin reached the level of the Violet realm and no one knew what level he was already.

Student's level and their current realm can be measured through the "Annual Student Examination" held every after the end of the school's term.

Chan Gu, Feng Lei, Yun Xue, and Mu Lingxi all scored red during the entrance examination.

They were all at amateur level and it is normal since they had just enrolled, unlike Long Yue who had been studying in Magus Academia for a year already but still stuck in the amateur realm. So he was like a repeater of the class.

It was such a pity that he did not perform well during the annual student examination so he did not manage to upgrade to a higher level. Compare to Long Fuzi, who managed to skip two levels and directly level up from amateur to senior level. Skipping intermediate and professional level. This was all credited to his diligence in his study resulting in a huge leap in his magic career.

"It's good that we belong to the same class, we can look at one another in times of need."

Chan Gu looks at his future companions and he could already see himself braving dangers one after another with these guys.
