As soon as Mu Lingxi entered the main hall, she saw her grandfather having a serious discussion with a middle aged man, and at his side stand Prince Long Fuzi.

Mu Lingxi pretended to act casual when she saw Prince Long Fuzi. She silently settled herself in one of the chair not too far away from where the two men were talking.

The two was engaged in a deep conversation that it took them a few more minutes before they realized that Mu Lingxi had arrived on the main hall for quite some time now.

Sensing somebody else presence Mu Ruochen, did a brief side glance. On his peripheral vision, there he saw his granddaughter, Mu Lingxi.

This grandchild of his was sitting not too far away and her very presence was akin to a white lotus, radiating calmness. His eyes soften upon seeing this lovely granddaughter.

"How long have you been waiting in there????" Mu Ruochen tried to call out Mu Lingxi's attention by talking to her all of a sudden.

His voice bring brought Mu Lingxi's wandering mind. When she looked back from where his grandfather was sitting, Mu Ruochen was walking towards her.

At the same time, Prince Long Fuzi and is father, the emperor also turned their attention to whom Mu Ruochen was talking to.

This would be the first time that Prince Long Fuzi will see Mu Lingxi after their awkward departure on the banquet last time.

Mu Ruochen said with hint of teasing as he secretly elbowed Mu Lingxi and winked.
