Chapter 191: Hanxing Breaks Down!

“Bitch, what are you doing? What are you doing?! Freak, bitch! You’re my property—MINE! Why are you throwing yourself into the enemy’s arms? Ziyun, turn and face me! Whore, why won’t you face me? ZIYUUUUUUN!” Watching Zi Feng find relief in Xinzi’s warm embrace, Lord Hanxing lost his mind. The blood mask stood in the way, but Xinzi looked over Zi Feng’s shoulders, and Hanxing could imagine stretching this diabolic enemy’s lips.

“Don’t…stop…come back! Don’t…ZIYU—UGH!” Unbeknown to Lord Hanxing, black mist formed in his Dao Heart, taking the form of Zi Feng diving into Xinzi’s embrace.

The great elder bit his lips to blood, restraining a blood spurt, and with sanguine rage, abandoned the Big Dipper Array to launch himself at the blood barrier. Hanxing’s cultivation base went on full display. His fists crashed on the blood barrier, but not only did they fail to damage it, the blow didn’t cause the slightest noise.

With a little trick, Xinzi altered the barrier, preventing any sound from spreading to either Zi Feng or his ears.

“Bastard! AAAAARGH! I will slaughter your nine generations and torture your soul for 1,000 years!” Lord Hanxing succumbed to full-blown frenzy, what bits of control he still had over the Big Dipper Sword Array collapsed. The seven colossal swords broke down into particles of starlight—then vanished from the scene.

The 10,000 sect disciples’ conditions worsened immediately. Some puked copious amount of blood, others turned paled and fainted. Others still, elders and elite disciples mostly, supported themselves on their swords, struggling to stay on their feet.

Here, Xinzi who kindly rubbed Zi Feng’s back, glanced towards the 10,000 White Immortal Sect disciples. The Klesha Haze flashed in his eyes, activating the haze he’d infected the inners and outers’ souls with.

From those that had passed out to the ones that puked blood, all regained their focus.

Not only did the haze give Xinzi absolute control over the disciples, but it also mended their internal wounds and galvanized their battle-spirit, turning them into suppressed berserkers only waiting for their commander’s signal to unleash blood-hell on their enemies.

“Anyone that surrenders to me will be spared from death,” adjusting the barrier so that his voice could travel throughout the sect, Xinzi said.

“Less nonsense! If you want to kill, kill! The White Immortal Sect doesn’t have a single traitor!” One named elder of the Dong clan said—his eyes burning with passion and fervent zeal.

A few moments later, following a brief show of false struggle and hesitation, the inners and outers tapped their storage rings, unleashing all the treasures and talismans they had stored on the weakened elite disciples and elders. Simultaneously, they plunged their swords at the elites and elders legs, aiming to cripple them outright.

“AAAAAAARGH!” In the blink of an eye, 10,000 turned on 800. A succession of blaring blasts shook the scene, like bloodthirsty animals bred solely for massacre, the mob went unhinged, bombarding and hacking at seniors and elders.

By the time the senior generation realized the betrayal, hands and legs were flying all over the scene. Chests burned from flaming talismans, the scent of blood and charred flesh mixing in the fumes that billowed up the sect.

“Treason…treason!” The elders couldn’t believe it, and Lord Hanxing regained his senses, floundering like a helpless child before a tyrannical bully.

No one would believe that 10,000 inners and outers, many of whom belonged to the sect’s ancestral clans, had not only decided to join the invader in tandem but also coordinated for this barbaric sneak attack. No—from the start, they belonged to the enemy camp!

Even in Hanxing’s wildest nightmares, he didn’t see over 100 spies in the sect’s ranks. How then could his heart deal with the realization that virtually all of his outer and inner disciples had long turned coats to join a patriarch of the demonic path?!

A chill went up his spine, and he glanced back and forth, trapped between Xinzi and the disciples that should be right follow his orders.

Hanxing could kill them all? But so what? The elite disciples aside, the turncoats represented the entire junior generation of the Dong clan and White Immortal Sect. Let’s not even mentioned that their swords aimed at the mangled elites and elders. Should Hanxing purge the turncoats, with what would he rebuild the sect?

Guang Fanghu had been captured and lay on the Blood Beast. The sect resources, looted clean. The guardian granted by the Golden Lotus showed signs of betrayal. And as if that wasn’t enough, Zi Yao’s psyche likely suffered a crushing blow, and with the horrifying poison she’d been infected with, the enemy could easily control her future.

“Defeat…complete and utter defeat. There is no way to turn this around. The White Immortal Sect’s 6,000 years of history, the achievement of all my Dong clan’s predecessors…collapses…IN MY HANDS!” Lord Hanxing’s suffered a mental breakdown, throwing his fists in the air as if punching at some invisible foe. His teeth clacked, and in a quiver of agony, he raised his hands at the sky, as if asking why the Heavens punished him so.

On the ground, Zi Yao lay between broken bricks, her eyes open wide, trembling as blood trickled down the corners of her lips.

‘What are you waiting for to release your trump cards? I’m still counting on you to keep an eye on Zhen’er. Talking about Zhen’er, the enemy’s mannerism and callous methods oddly remind of my Zhen’er. But how could that be? My Zhen’er…can’t possibly be cultivating Evil Qi…right?

Mhm…never mind. Probably a fanboy seduced by Zhen’er’s swagger. Capture him, and we will find out.’ Zi Yao didn’t hear any of the words, but the desire to challenge this seemingly invincible foe burned in her heart.

Even without Yuemi’s instigation, she would never balk. Yuemi’s Divine Light flashed across Zi Yao’s body, healing her wounds and boosting her strength. The Lord-Regent needn’t bother. Zi Yao’s hands tightened on the ground, berserk energies erupted, cratering the earth underneath the Yin-Matriarch.

Her lavender eyes became a scarlet red, her purple hair turned to a lustrous black, growing so long that they moved down her thighs to cover her ankles.

“Good! Bloodstone Patriarch, it is you who forced my hand! That being the case, don’t blame me for going all-out!” Full grief and indignation, Zi Yao roared at the sky. Sparkling-red Blood Energy erupted from her form, ripping her robe to shred as her legs morphed into a 100-meters-long snake tail.

Black sea shells covered Zi Yao’s breasts, third-order Blood Energy enrobed her flesh and tail, but unlike Xinzi’s Blood Energy, one could sense chaotic and unstable forces disrupting the Blood Energy’s harmony.

With slow, sensuous motion, Zi Yao coiled up the ground. Dozens of pits formed in the crater underneath her, revealing pathways to an underground estate that stretched as far as the White Immortal Sect itself.

Thousands upon thousands of abominations with human male faces and female breasts tied to 2.2-meters-tall treants leaped from the pits, their scarlet eyes flashing at Xinzi, fueled by Blood Energy and a chaotic balance of Yin and Yang.
