'Let's just finish this with time stop.'

Thrusting my silver sword at the king kobold variant time stop deactivates just as my sword plunges into its head at the same time the king kobold variant reached out and clawed at my chest and leaving claw marks across my chest as blood starts to ooze out of the wound.

"It's not dead? How can it survive with a sword sticking out of its head?"

[Once your regeneration stat hits 100 you get a special skill where you can regenerate almost anything as long as it isn't destroyed up to a certain extent.]

"Interesting. Kind of like a troll's regeneration right? Then can't I just use fire to stop the regeneration then?"

[Yes, fire is the most recommended method, another method is to slice it into pieces before it can regenerate. You can currently buy the item 'Salamander's Ash' from the system for 10 system points. You currently have 160 system points.]

'Bring up Salamander's Ash item details.'

Item: Salamander's Ash

Description: Gives a fire enchantment to any weapon upon use burning anything the enchantment hits. Last 5 Minutes.

Cost: 10 System Points

'Let's try one for now'

[Processing..... Done. Items have been added to inventory.]

'Use Salamander's Ash on Lostvayne.'

[Salamander's ash has been applied to the sword 'Lostvayne']

Watching the king kobold variant slowly regenerate piece by piece as I pull out Lostvayne from the inventory so I can try out Lostvayne's ability physical clone instead of relying on time stop.

"Sacred Treasure Release!"

A pulse of energy flows through my entire body as several perfectly mirrored clones run out of my body towards the king kobold variant. Seeing my body split into multiple versions of myself the king kobold variant becomes astonished and reacts late to my clones rushing in for the kill due to the shock of an unimaginable skill and the overwhelming feel of death and helplessness that he receives from his Survival Instincts skill.

Trying to turn the situation around the king kobold variant runs at a faster speed than the clones and leaps over them throwing himself at me as the silver sword falls out of his head and onto the ground.

Readying lostvayne for the impact I hold it aiming for the body wanting to test out the fire enchantment as the king kobold variant runs into the sword thinking that his regeneration would save him from my sword. As he reaches for my face with his claws he stops in his tracks as his eyes dilated in fear as he notices that lostvayne has some type of fire enchantment on it but it was too late as I punctured his stomach and it doesn't regenerate.

"Hu..man... DIE!" he says as he furiously flails at me trying to do some damage to me to force me to back away before I can deal him any serious injuries. Looking at where I stabbed it didn't regenerate at all and is burned to a crisp.

'Damn that's pretty effective.'

As the king kobold variant sees me back off he rushes at me only to be cut from behind because he didn't notice the fact that my clones caught up to him.

"You forgot about those didn't you?" I say taunting it into rushing me so I can kill it and see what I can get out of a king variant. I'm also interested in how this thing became in the first place, this is the first time I can see a monster talk although its speech is kinda rough.

Seeing how little damage my clones did it seems that physical clone is still the same as in the anime where the number of clones can only share half your power. Since there is five of them and they all have a tenth of my stats they're all pretty weak, but all the Lostvaynes that were copied have the fire enchantment so it still does some damage.

Thrusting lostvayne through the king kobold variant's forehead it leaves a huge gash in between its eyes as it falls to the floor completely void of any life and the system gives me the notification of finishing off the monster.

[You have killed a "King Kobold(Variant)"... Received 9000 Experience]

[Due to killing a third variant monster the title 'Variant Killer II' has been upgraded to 'Variant Killer III']

[Due to killing a second King Class monster the title 'King Class Killer' has been upgraded to 'King Class Killer II']

[Congratulations you have reached level 20.]

[Quest "Reach Level 20" has been completed]

[Rewards received, 2000 experience, 1 Upgrade Card, 1 Treasure Card]

[Error... Due to reaching level 20 you cannot continue to level up until you either continue with the cheater class or get a second class. To do so head to your nearest adventurer's guild.]

"What does the variant killer title do?"

[The title variant killer gives you an increased chance to run into variants, they give more experience, and you do more damage to them. With each increase in the title it increases by 1% up to a maximum of 10%.]

"System is there a reason I haven't gotten the dungeon conqueror title yet."

[This dungeon is a man-made dungeon so of course, you can't get the dungeon conqueror title, you can only get the title from natural dungeons. There are some around here but from my knowledge you have to be a D ranked adventurer to explore the dungeons.]

"Wow, that sucks. I probably won't rank up for another week unless the guild master can do me a favor. I don't really like him though."

"Alright Upgrade Skill Steal."

[Upgrade Card used..... Displaying Results]

[Skill Steal(Limited)*: Can steal any skill, limit of one skill per monster/person.]

"You scammer, Upgrading should have gotten rid of the limited not upgraded the limitations."

[The skill steal that you want is the pinnacle of the skill steal, and since you got the limited version, of course, it would lift the limitations a little, at least now you can steal and not be limited to stealing a skill once per race.]

"True, how many Upgrade cards will it require to get no limits."

[No idea...]

Walking out the dungeon it's around 4 or 5 pm so I hurry back to the guild to tell the guild master that I finished his quest so I can go eat some of the inn lady's cooking.

...

Walking into the guild there are people drinking their asses off and others completing quests but it eventually goes quiet. Waiting in line to talk to a receptionist the other adventurer's give glances at me and then talk to the people they are sitting near. Seems like I might have given them a bad view of me huh.

"Bell you can head upstairs, the guild master said to send you to him."

It seems even the receptionists have heard about me since this is the first time I meet this tall red-headed woman and she already knew my name. I hope it wasn't anything bad.

As I walk up the stairs, the adventurers start to talk again in whispers just low enough so I couldn't hear anything important. All I heard was silver-haired, and the word elf.

Walking up to the door the guild master opens it and leads me in.

"It seems you have completed my quest, have you decided on which skill you would like to take."

"So he defeated Kirm right. Did he tell him the information."

"Yes sir, kirm let out the perfect amount of information. His crimes led to his death but he took it as his fate. Shall we take his family out?"

"No. Leave them alone for now, his family doesn't know about his crimes."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Kirm died in the dungeon right. Did the miasma from his death create another mutated boss monster."

"Yes, it was reported an hour ago that the hero defeated it and has reached level 20."

"Haa... Hero's really do have a fast growth rate, especially since they grow in battle without realizing it. Keeps tabs on the hero and tell me when he nears level 200, I'll be sleeping in my room. Don't disturb my sleep unless there is an emergency."
