16 Wedding party dinner

After all cooking preparation finished, the next thing to do is prepared the table. I choose the two-seater table with the chandelier in the middle of the table. Yes, I want a candlelight dinner theme for our wedding party celebration. I also take a bottle of wine from the wine cellar to celebrate our wedding. After all been set, I start to cook the dish I want to make for tonight party. While waiting for the soup done, I started to cook fish and thanks God, I can finish my cooking on time before dinner time come.

After putting the dishes on the table and cover it with a lid, I go upstairs to take a bath and changing clothes. I also take a ring that my ex-wife used to wear when we married before. She's kind enough to leave it to me after we divorce, for her kindness, I can't have ill feelings toward her and hope she can find her own happiness with her new husband. Since I and Ming Er only married in city hall, there are no exchange rings like what usually happens to the couple that married in the church. So I want to give it to her, at tonight's dinner. After changing dress into a clean and neat suit, I'm going out of the room and knock Ming Er room's door.

She's coming from the room wearing a white long night dress. Although her skin not creamy white instead a bit tanned, her dress giving an exotic view of her skin color. I almost can't say anything when seeing her like that. Ming Er look at me bashfully before asking a question

"Am I looks good in this white dress?"

"Not only good, it's superb!'

"Really? I'm not to confidence wearing a white dress because my skin isn't as white as other girls"

"What are you talking about. Compare with those pale white skin, your freshly tanned skin is more exotic in my eyes. I like that"

"Ben ben…you like this?"

"Um. You look like a princess when wearing that. So my princess, shall we go"

I stretch my hand to hold her hand while we walk downstairs. Ming Er takes my hand and we both go downstairs holding the hand like a couple going to the dance floor together.

After we arrive downstairs, I pulled a chair in the table I prepared and please her to sit. After that, I lite up the candle and turn off the lamp. Since there's no waiter to serve us, I also act as her waiter. I show her the wine bottle that I prepared before in ice bucket, open the bottle lid, pour the wine into her glass and mine. After putting the bottle of wine back into the ice bucket, I sit in the opposite chair in front of Ming Er and start our dinner party.

"I want to toast for our marriage. I wish our marriage will last forever until death separates us. Cheers"

I raise my wine glass to Ming Er. She also raises her glass and makes toast

"I also want to toast for our marriage. For the best husband in the world, for our happiness, and our everlasting love. Cheers"

We take a sip from our glass and smile to each other. I stand up from my chair and prepare the dish for her. First I open the xiaolongbao container which still releasing warm steam from inside. I take one and put it on her plate.

"Please have a taste of my homemade xiaolongbao, my lovely wife"

"Um. It looks delicious"

Ming Er lifts her plate and take the xiaolongbao with her chopstick and take a bite.

"Um, It's different with any dumpling I ever eat. This sweet-sour taste is just what I currently like right now. Husband, why you sit too far from me, move your chair beside me"

Since this is not a formal party, we can sit wherever we like, so I move my chair to sit next beside her.

"That's better. Now let's eat together. Open your mouth, Ben Ben…Aammm"

I open my mouth and she put the xiaolongbao that she just bites in my mouth. I take a bite and let her finish the rest. Well, she's my wife, we will share happiness and sadness together, so what about sharing food? I take another xiaolongbao and put in my plate, this time it's my turn to feed her

"Ming Er, now it's for our baby…open your mouth…aammmm"

She smiling hearing what I'm said but did not refuse and take a bite of xiaolongbao that I feed to her. I also put the rest into my mouth. After I finish eating my xiaolongbao, Ming Er giggling when look at me

"Husband, you can't eat sloppy like that if there's someone else around us. Look there's some leftover in your lip"

After saying that, she's stretching her hand to my face. I thought she will take it with her hand, but she actually wraps her hand around my neck and pulls my face closer to her. She takes the leftover with her lips and followed by a kiss. Although a bit surprised, I reply her warm kiss with a passionate one too. After kissing for a while finally we can be parting our lip from each other.

"Tee hee~ this leftover taste is very tasty"

I smile with her haughty attitude, I know she's a bold girl but tonight her courage seems to rise tenfold. Did the wine incite her courage to a higher level?
